I don't think any old looks were repainted into SEPTA colors(there was one bus at Southern that was repainted in such a way as to discourage vandals from writing on the bus).

Can anyone tell me the number of the old look that SEPTA painted in order to discourage grafitti?

could this be the one you are referring to ? i found it here:

That's the one. Beautiful. 3037. When was 3037(old look) retired? Was this bus relegated to the 47 or did this bus run on any Southern route, at that time?

Wait Bucks County Tech school? Wow, it's...there. One remains? I'm glad it's helping the students with their education! Is it parked outside or something?

Buses at some point get to where they cannot pass a safety inspection which means they can no longer operate. That even goes for historic buses that no longer operate on regular use. Bmore MTA had that problem with 3548 which was a 1982 Grumman 870. Now they have to replace their Rodeo bus which was 3336 a 1980 RTS with 8830 a 1988 Flxible Metro B40102. BTW. Does SEPTA have a Rodeo bus?

rest in peace to all AN440's that ran the Philadelphia area streets

If I had the money, I would buy an AN440, take the bus to Detroit Diesel, have them do some repairs to the engine, leave the paint scheme as it is and turn it into an RV. I really would do that, you do not know the significance and the importance these buses had on me and my life, I will truly miss those AN440's, I really think I was Neoplan's biggest fan.

Yes its parked outside ,but in back of school hidden from street[New falls rd] The school has loads of new donated vehicles , never driven acuras Prowlers , new slightly damaged cars that are strange to see. example a 1990 oldsmobile with 9 miles on it and new car sticker still on window[like you are in a timewarp] Sad news is all the vehicles donated there [about 30] MUST BE CRUSHED AFTER USE BY school. so im not optimistic about 3215s future
