I really hope I get to go this year. I spoke to several people about this from SEPTA and they said it was only for the staff.

Please, if they use those coaches for that, all hell would break loose in trackless division...

They say that every year. As long as you don't cause too much trouble, you'll be fine.

Does this mean no playing with the destination signs? Will there be a Neoplan AN-440 there?

As much as I hope you guys wouldn't continuously mess with the signs for the entire event, and as much as SEPTA would probably frown upon it, I wouldn't be surprised if you guys managed to find a way to play with the signs on the buses...

Or, you could take the 66 to City Line loop & walk up Bristol Pike. Hopefully, the weather will be nice so that one can do this.
That is a LONG walk....

I do hope SEPTA has at least 1 Neoplan AN440 at the Roadeo if I can make it. And Im sure they will keep at least 1 operable to display at Transit Roadeos until they get to a point they are unoperable. And even the New Looks and Old Looks if SEPTA ever operated those. BTW. Is there a rule against having backpacks at the Roadeo? If so does the Philadelphia Greyhound station or 30th street station have lockers?

From what I saw last year, it was a walk-in thing with no actual security. You should be good.
