I would extend the 119 to West Chester T.C. .

I'd like to see Sunday service on the 129. Granted there won't be as many passengers as any other day, it's still worth experimental service.

The 119 used to run from Feltonville to West Chester via Cheyney and Granite Run Mall, however that service was cut back to Cheyney several years ago due to very low ridership. The 119 service along Paoli Pike was replaced with a re-routed 104.

Sunday service on the 129 will be implemented this fall. Considering the lack of transit service in that part of Lower Bucks and considering that the 129 is probably the busiest of all the Lower Bucks-based Frontier routes, then I don't see how that wouldn't work out.

As to what I would change in Suburban, expanded weekend service on the 104 to West Chester would be a great start. The hourly service in effect now on Sunday results in some overcrowding during the mid-day hours and some mid-morning trips on Saturdays.

SEPTA also needs to restore the evening connections between the 92 at Krap(f)s A bus at Exton Mall. In February, the last trip from West Chester left at 21:50 to allow enough time to connect with the last A bus at the mall at 22:15. Now, the last bus leaves WC at 20:10; the last bus leaving Exton leaves at 21:55, which misses the last A bus from Coatesville to Exton by several minutes.

I would also get rid of the cutaways altogether in favor of 30-ft Optimas.

I'll think of some more things later...

Why 30-ft Optimas?

Go with the New Flyer D30LF,DE30LF,D30LFR or DE30LFR.

Actually, just over half of Frontier's routes don't run on Sundays. Therefore, there'd be more buses available on Sundays.

Creighton, I have no doubts as to whether Sunday service on the 129 would work out or not. Having been on it many times, I know how crowded it can get, especially during peak service. Sunday service would be a great thing for the 129.

They should go with those fleets.
Mostly all of the city are full of the Flyers.

If they go for that, here's the line up:
:ermm:
D30LF: 4599-4653 (Midvale)
4630-4642 (Germantown)
DE30LF:4654-4683, D30LFR:4726-4780 (Victory/Red Arrow)
DE30LFR: 4684-4723 (Frontier)
