Let's see who can answer this question on the oddballs fleet.

Name ONE place where the following oddball buses 4526, 5251 and 7101 can be found at once? What route can they be found on?

*All Three buses must serve this Destination.

I will come back Next Saturday to post the answers and find the winner.

Decline that. Looks like I picked an easy question for you guys. All of you win. To redarrow5591 The bastards original home is Midvale. I heard this bus is also operated on callowhill routes. Is this true.

Last week I called 7101 "the bastard". One mistake I will never make.

I will be back With a harder more difficult question.

Actually, 5251-5280 was at Alleghney pre2000.

These buses are long gone, however: 8413 & 8717 were retrofitted with the destination signage boards similar to those on the Neo DK, EB,EI & EZ models.

1982 Neo AK suburban 8413(January 19, 1983-manufactured date- may have been a Victory bus early on) had the destination signage similar on those of our now retired Neo EZs(tall font).

Why was 8413 retrofitted with a destination sign that was similar to the ones on the Neo DK, EB,EI & EZ fleet?

Anyone remember 8413? Was this destination signage salvaged from Neo EB 3134 or EZ 3467?(both buses were involved in fires while assigned to Allegheny, 3134 may have caught a bad break at Callowhill, Callowhill was the original home of 3134).

8413 was indeed a speed demon. Smooth oeprator. Stopped on a dime as well.

Another place where 5251, 7101 & 4526 could eventually meet up at:

Willow Grove Park Mall(if the R2 Warminster line is down & they use shuttle buses, 7101 would be drafted in for the shuttle, 5251 on 55 & 4526 on 98.

or:

Cheltenham & Ogontz(5251 Midvale routes, pullouts/pullins, 7101:6, 4501- Breeze(at times, Breeze operators take some strange routes back to the depot).

5251 was always assgined to Luzerne(Midvale)- except for a short stint at Callowhill where noted.

Allegheny(pre February 6, 2000) had 5258-5295. in January 2000, 5237 had a short stint at Allegheny.
