I've heard the 14 is starting to use the 60 footers (from Comly, probably) and it's about time, too. I've been on 5107 on the 14 from Frankford Terminal and it got crowded quick!!! Good thinking using the artics on the 14.

How about this: Since Olney is your stomping grounds, the first to get a 8 on a midday wins. How about that? |

Well, when will the 8 start running mid-day? I'll be able to do it the first week of September, but not after. |

November 1st, actually. Temporary picking is supposed to be from August 31st to October 31st, with the mid-fall picking starting November 1st. As with everything else in SEPTA, this is subject to change. Supposedly, with the mid-fall picking, the 8X might run on Saturdays. That'd be a miracle. |

The cycle time for a round trip on the 201 is approximately 20 minutes (assuming no layover at Fort Washington). I would suspect that Frontier could get away with running only 2 buses (3 at the most) on the 201 during peak periods. Considering that there's quite a few trips on the 201 to begin with, I'd love to see how they're figuring 14 new round trips - unless it's going to be 30 minute mid-day headways. |

I'd still like to see 30 minute Sunday mid-day headways between 69 St and West Chester; some of those Sunday 104 afternoon trips - especially heading inbound - fill up pretty quickly before they hit Newtown Square. |
