I'm happy with the artics on the 14 as a frequent rider. The 14 needs them , but what i would also like to see in effect is some type of limited stop service. Because the 14 has stops at almost every street on the blvd. The limited stops should only be where other buses connect such as Cottman Av,Rhawn St,Holme Circle,Welsh Rd,Red Lion Rd (Swenson Students), Byberry Rd,Comly Road

I think SEPTA should BRT(like what LACTA did)the 14(and maybe others).

SEPTA should do what LACTA did.

The worst case scenarios associated with the 14 take place between Bridge & Pratt & Boulevard & Holme(Nazareth Hospital).

In my opinion, limited stop service on the 14 should be implemented. As for the 58, morning express service should be reinstated on a select number of trips with 3 artics assigned to the route during peak periods.

Regretfully, people forget about the 58. keep in mind that the 58 serves George Washington High School along Verree Road.

The 70 needs them but the line is plagued with two sets of turns, both on eatbound runs to Delaware & Arendell:

10th Street north to Godfrey Avenue east AND Central Avenue north to Cottman Avenue east

OR:

5th Street South to Godfrey Avenue west.

FINALLY:

Princeton Avenue east & State Road northbound.

Operators driving artics on this route would really need to be on their "A" game.

Okay, so which route do you think needs articulateds more, the 14, 20/50 or the R? I feel the R needs them more than any other route, but the idea of BRT down the Boulevard makes more sense, be more feasible and would eliminate the need of artics on any of the routes running up and down the Boulevard.

I agree with artics being on the 70, especially when school is in session. That route can get packed real quick!!! I sometimes feel like a sardine on there, but I know what turns you are talking about, but that is what training is for!!!

The part of the 70 that I ride isn't very crowded, so I think that the areas that you guys are talking about should just get more service, and not artics, besides, wouldn't that cause trouble at T'dale and Cottman!!!

Yes the 14 needs articsbut not on the short trippers like IRS , and the turn offs only put them on the Oxford Valley and Nashaminty trips. AlsoI saw a Artic on the 20 on a Saturday afternoon about 2 wks ago!
