The Arrott inner loop will be closed off for some Thursday & Friday. for repairs. so the 59, 75, K, & 89 have to lay over on Oxford Ave. The K & 75 will load on the Arrott Street outer stand where the 59 , J & 89 normally load.
fun , fun. fun....

Read the detour very carefully. they say the 89 is a trackless trolley.

Well, what Leon thinks is good heat, and what the passengers think is good heat are two diffeent things. Coaches don't have heat, headlights are out, tail lights are out, 800 is back in the shops adn one of the TTs don't have EPU anymore. It blew out. I think it was 835. some coaches, the retrievers don't work, the signs dont work, constant radio problems, in epu mode, withthe poles stored, some can't even go 10mph, it's a mess.

Let's set the record straight.
1. The information posted above is from a questionable individual. He hangs around SEPTA drivers and vehicles and has been almost been arrested quite a few times for touching controls.

2. The heat is the coaches has been personally verified by me with a thermal probe.
The "coldest" one was 72 degrees circulating, with 95 degrees out of the heat fins on the sidewall. New Flyer checks each coach every morning. The coaches in the last few weeks are decidedly better than weeks before.

3. They do have missing parts, that is being addressed.

4. Coach 835, ran yesterday on 75-2102 , and the EPU was fine, so guess again.

Let's knock off the negative vibes, These things have to run for quite a few more years.
Some people have too much time on their hands.

833 is on 75-2102 today. good heat , a good coach , and the traction control (ATC)works.
And this is the only coach with a Red Stop Request sign.

Reeko48 told me something happened to 804, something fell off one of the poles, and it went on EPU & OOS.

Maybe SEPTA should have gotten New Flyer, NABI or Nova Hybrids instead of these E40LFR's... they are too bugged
That's exactly what SEPTA tried to sell to the Trackless Trolley activists...and they completely balked at that attempt. That's why people are still blindly yelling at SEPTA to reactivate the 29 and 79, even though there are VALID issues to NOT bring those trackless trolley back there!

Well whose to play the blame game. Basically ALL SEPTA ordered Trackless Trolleys have been a failure. I only rode a AM General Once on the 29, it was ok to me ( but southern took better care than Frankford, and is still true today to current standards). I don't know about the Brills or Marmon-Harringtons but ALL SEPTA TRACKLESS ORDER IS ALWAYS SCREWED UP, no matter the company......

Good point - the AMGs were considered lemons as well.

I just don't understand why these are having such issues...I can't imagine Vancouver is having this much of a headache...
