No, yesterday morning the bus driver of my bus had the heat on their self, and only their self! I was angry when I found out about this!!!

The front defroster is on a different computer module than the passenger system. Most times the passenger system is faulty, so the driver has to run the defroster and only gets the heat in his/her area. The passengers still freeze.

I know a driver who is always cold, so the A/C is on in the coach, and he has his defrosters on high heat (this is in the summer).

Thermo-King is coming out to fix the units.

Yesterday, Nov. 5th , 75-2101 never mad the first trip. The power steering in the Trackless messed up in the yard.. 75-2102 had a double street for that trip. The passengers were pretty mad,

I rode 804 on the 75 today (11-13-08). the Heat was pretty good on that one. It's good to feel it coming out of those fins in the heater ducts alongside the seats at the bottom.

805 had lousy heat today, the bottom fin heat was so-so. We even had a passenger complaint that the coach was too cold. I felt the air coming out of the slotted area below the advertising rack, and it was cold air. I could not reach up high enough to see with the upper (above the card area) slots were doing, I should have gone to the back of the coach(high floor area) to feel them , I forgot. I'll do that next time.

I rode 5320 from West Chester to 69th street. It was like an oven in there. Too hot.

A memo has been issued. Park the TT coaches in the yard with the poles up (yes ,the wires work out there), and make sure the Climate Control switch is turned on.The Master Control can be off.
Apparently, this will keep the coach warm all night!

The 5:47AM trip out of Arrott, 75-2101, never made that trip this morning. The operator must have taken the coach in for a defect after his first trip,. So 2102 got all his angry passengers.

Correction. The driver chartered over on the 5:47 Arrott trip to 5th Street, and turned around and completed the eastbound part of the run. So the whole trip was not lost. Service beyond 5th st. dropped out on that trip.

I can report I just got a call that #800 was seen EPU-ing on Wyoming Ave. This is the pilot coach that was sent back to Winnepeg for whatever they did to change it to match the other 37 units. No new picture yet.

Just this old one, from last year.

So now we have all 38 units.

Stay tuned......

Some transit fans rode the trackless, #808, today with my operator friend. They said they rode the subway surface lines in SW Philly yesterday and said those lines make their Mattapan -Ashmont line look like a country club. Nice image we show in Philly, not!!!

Today they were taking pictures of Nabi buses, the TT operator told them to get pictures now, we all know the end is near for the worn out Nabi's.

I passed by Berridge this morning on my way to school. I hope 800 kept the orange dome light on the long stick. If not they they probably replaced the shell that covers the roof top equipment. I also hope 800 kept the Blue metal border abound the window instead of the white rough border.
