aside from the 99 and 124, are there any routes in Frontier that have NEVER seen a lawnmower on duty?
I thought the 93, 94, 96 and 98 ran on 100% 40fters, but I saw an ElDorado at least once on each one.
And why shouldn't the 98 have Sunday service beyond Plymouth Meeting Mall? I was thinking they might (and should) have it for people coming to and from Ambler who want a shortcut to PM mall or WG mall

The 99 has run (and probably still does outside of holiday season) Dorados:

Also, I've seen Champions run on the 93, 94, and 98 as well over time (I think I saw one on the 96 once, but I'm not quite sure). In fact, the 94 isn't really the "heavy hitter" route that you may think it is...Dorados and maybe Champions are common on this line, in addition to 40 footers.

In regards to full Sunday service on the 98, it's really a tough call, and I've been debating this with a friend. MAYBE service should be extended to Ambler (a big maybe), but to be honest, between Plymouth Meeting and I guess Oreland/North Hills, off-peak ridership is rather light. Also, Oreland/North Hills residents can take the R5 for the most part (unless they are on Fitzwatertown Road, which doesn't really produce much ridership at any time).

It may not be a bad idea to extend weekday and maybe Saturday evening service to Ambler station, though. If I had a dollar for every time a person was going back to Ambler entirely too late from the mall and Norristown...

another question: Why are Frontier routes the only ones to have stops on their timetables divided by letters (e.g. A-Norristown Terminal; B-Penn Square; C-Plymouth Meeting Mall; etc)?

They used letters to show where these designations are located on the map on the Schedule.

Why don't they use letters on Redarrow routes or city routes?
I suppose it would be easier to spot your destination on the map

Back when the defenders were new I saw them on the 98.

90 uses both Defenders and Dorado's

That's what I've been wondering for years. I guess it's just because Frontier is the best division out there. :)

Another question, why should Frontier operate Routes 127, 128, 129, 130 and 304? Those routes are way far away from their home depot, and if a bus breaks down it would be a long ride to get a backup bus. Should they assign those routes to...Comly, perhaps?
