Ive been thinking. Since SEPTA makes more money from the rear advertisments then any other advertisement. Which is why they get roof top ACs on buses. I think I know why they discontinued the all day pass and replaced it with the 8 trip Convenience pass. They did that so they can make more money from their riders. If someone needs to ride more then 8 trips once their card is used up they can either pay the base fare to save trips on the card. Or they would have to purchase another card after all 8 trips are used. So SEPTA did that so they can make more money from the fares also. Which is good with the way the economy is right now. |

I used the Day pass before I got my Senior Pass. The "Inconvenience" pass is limited in rides and I probably would have had a zone fare charge on the 104. I went from the Day pass to my Senior card. So I'm not happy to be and old man, but I enjoy my senior pass. No zone fares, but $1.00 on the RR trains. Chuck Greene |

I do like an all day pass better then an 8 trip Convenience pass. But however. Some SEPTA operators disagree with the convenience pass also and those drivers allow passengers to go ahead without the next trip number clipped out. |

I have been thinking. Another thing about the convenience pass. Its harder for someone to duplicate the pass and allow others to use the duplicates on the system. Baltimore had that problem with passes before they retrofit the fare boxes on the buses. |
