According to Septa, its union will not go on strike as the employee's contract is set to expire at 12:00 midnight on March 14th. They know that public transportation is the importance to transport its customer to business and schools to get to. Septa and the Unions are still in talk of the new contract as they said no strike will take place. Septa is keeping its hands together as it knows they know that the new agreement could reach.

So bus, rail fans, continue enjoying the fun since the positive results has came back.

Suburban (Victory) will not call a strike either. Their union boss says they are working it out , slowly.
That contract expires April 1st.

Now that I think about it, Victory cannot afford to call a strike. If there were one, riders dependent upon the 113, 114, 115, 117, 118 & 119 can depend on the R2 Marcus Hook. People dependent upon the 105 & 106 can depend upon the R5 Paoli/ Bryn Mawr locals. People dependent upon the 101, 102, 107 & 108(Yeadon only), 109 can depend upon the R3 Media.

However, anyone dependent upon the 110 & any of the West Chester Pike routes would, without a shadow of a doubt, be straight out of luck.

Simply for the sake of it, I drove my car along the entire length of route 104(and 120). I never knew how long these routes were. West Chester Pike seems as if it never ends.

Its an hour one way. And the schedules will only give you at most 63 minutes either way. Inbound, if you get caught ANYWHERE, you're screwed.
