In the Blue Cross commercial which featured a Septa bus and a pregnant woman getting onto the bus in Center City.

What type of bus was it and what is it (Manufacturer's) number?

Do you mean the serial number the manufacturer gave it or the road number that SEPTA assigned?

Its no other then #8099 operating out of southern. Out of the 118 2005 New Flyers out of Southern, this bus is the "clean bus". It's mainly the bus used in Films and commercials, it also has the less mileage then any other flyer in the fleet.

5599 was the "clean bus" prior to 8099 before it was sent out to Victory. During it's overhaul, there were only several 1000 miles on the bus. This figure would have been way lower if it was never transferred out to the suburbs in the first place.

Spotted 8099 recently on a training run, and it's exhaust system looks like the one that's used on the NABI fleet.

Serial number:
5U028836
