Does some new camera including compact model has a great mic on capturing the audio?

By the way, what camera did you use that it does not had that feature?
The camera I now use is a Panasonic LX5. Good still photos, but not as great audio in video as my previous Panasonic ZS3. The ZS3 had stereo mics, which is why the sound is louder. The LX5 has only a mono mic.

Also:

Tonight was Light Up Night, this is the weekend where they light up the christmas tree and downtown has festivities, including lighting of buildings, fireworks, and other things. Port Authority brought out the big guns to handle it. I got to ride 3063 that came downtown on the 71A and rode it out on a Light Up Night shuttle. There were also 3 other DD50 An460's behind including the green one. Saw 2 DD60's An460's also on the 71 routes as well as some Gillig's. Was a mess with all the students and people, but also fun to see the suburban Neo's back were they belong (aka Oakland routes!).

It was brought up the budget Defecit that PAT is facing that could result in service eliminations in March. Now that I think about it I doubt Tom Corbett being elected has anything to do with it. The only city Ed Rendell supported in PA is Philadelphia as he was the former mayor of Philadelphia before being the governor of PA. Since PAT isnt the only TA in PA suffering. Rabbit Transit was suppose to get new buses and remodel the base but does not have the funding for it. And CAT had to purchase used NABIs from SEPTA to either replace some of the RTSs or to add on to the fleet. RRTA I dont think is suffering. Or COLT or even BARTA. Rendell raised the gas tax throughout PA just to upgrade the subways in Philadelphia. Which to me is wrong as the entire state shouldnt have to deal with tax hikes just to accomodate Philadelphia. The entire state needs benefit.

Was in Pittsburgh early Tuesday morning. With time to kill, I walked over to the Mon Incline after a short ride on the Blue Line T within the downtown zone. After my round trip on the Incline, I caught a Phantom into downtown on the 40-Mt Washington bus to Penn Station. Ended up taking two more trips within downtown - one was a Nova, the other a DD50 Neo artic.

It's too bad I only had a couple of hours to explore Pittsburgh. But at least I got I can finally say that I rode PAT.

One other thing: The new fareboxes are apparently being replaced. Not sure what PAT was doing with the boxes, but apparently, only buses out of Collier and Ross have the new fareboxes.

Well, 2011 is here! New 40ft. Gillig's (hopefully redesigned) and the New Flyer artic's are set to arrive! Plus hopefully the 61A/B/C/D, 71A/C/D, and 500 will finally become Rapid Routes (was supposed to happen before 2010 ended) with off vehicle payments.

Yeah, I can't wait to see it soon. Redesigned Gillig? Do you mean like the existing model except restyled or the entire model has been redesigned like the New NABI 416 from 2008 and beyond, New Flyer LFR, etc?

Even though the Gillig BRT is meant for BRT use it has been used as a restyled Advantage as some TAs own them for non BRT use. Like RRTA. PART, BARTA. And a few others. Im surprised CAT and DART havent used BRTs as restyled Advantages. DART has 2 of them but only for Suburban use.

Past few days the light rail has been a mess:

Did light-rail operators deliberately cause delays?
Slowdown by LRT drivers investigated
Port Authority keeping watch over LRT service
Slowdowns rankle Port Authority train riders
Light-rail trains observed speeding 40 percent of time
