What routes go to Century III?
46G
51C
55M

I always ride the 46G from the South Bank stop on the light rail. I once took the 51C back into the city, and it is a long ride compared to the 46G which goes down the Busway. But it did go through some hilly neighborhoods with nice skyline views that I need to go back and see.

I am back in Pittsburgh now, but I will be back in Philly again on the 18th of December through January (taking Amtrak)! Also, I have uploaded the few Septa photos I took today.

I really need to take the time to really fan the system. All of the times I went out there, I was visiting a friend, and only had a few hours to ride around before meeting up with her.

Come weekends, Nova's disappear from the streets, partially. Today I got a nice ride on a DD60 Neo on the EBS to downtown. Love them so much. First snow, so I went out and took photos of the skyline and Mellon Arena, plus its replacement being built across the street.

Also, there are some Cummins powered Advantages that sound like they have ZF's instead of Voiths. Must be due to the AC or something.

Today I rode Advantage #5651 and it sounded great, you could hear the retarder really clearly despite the heat being on (short video). Also rode on a nice sounding Nova on the 71A.

Panasonic still has my camera, they've had it since the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, so I could only use my old TZ3 which doesn't record in HD or stereo sound.

And today I got my Amtrak tickets for the train back to Philly on Friday. :D So Panasonic has tomorrow and Thursday otherwise when I am back in Philly I will have to borrow my parents camera again for videos.

I am back in Pittsburgh after Winter Break, will be back in Philly March 7-14th. I have no camera for HD videos right now (my ZS3 broke and Panasonic wants me to pay $200 to fix it. I refuse to when a new ZS3 can be had for $60 more on Amazon, and the ZS3's successor will be announced at the end of the month), so photos for a while only. PAT's new Gillig Hybrids are in service, I saw one laying over near the airport and saw one today headed downtown. Anyway:

5422 welcomed me back yesterday on the 28X. Had to stand the whole way from the airport to Oakland (the ride is over an hour long!). The bus was completely packed with college students, all who I think came from my Southwest flight from Philly. I was the 2nd to last person to get on. Also, now I have been on all three busways.

PAT should have put an artic on that run.

I second that, especially with all of the colleges and college students in the area. In fact, why couldn't they have used those suburban Neoplan artics that they have sitting around collecting dust?!

I can't believe that route used to use STVs....

True they do need the Neo artics for it. Also, when we left the airport there were still plenty of people lined up. And the 28X only runs every 30 minutes (like the R1).

The suburban Neo artics aren't sitting around, they are run. Its unfortunate that when the lightrail to the airport gets built, I'll have graduated. :(

And btw, 5422 is a Gillig Advantage with DD50 and Allison B400R.

lol, I guess I was exaggeration a bit when I said "collecting dust". Were you guys coming back on a weekend day? Those Neoplans sure aren't used then!

Of course, it's just as sad that they used a 35 foot Phantom for that run. Sigh...
