Oh my goodness, I feel awful for that poor man! I'm just trying to figure out where that man was getting off. Was he getting off a route 25/73/84/26 bus that was coming off of Bridge Street, making a right turn onto Frankford, and stopping there? See the link below.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Bridge+Street+and+Frankford+Ave,+Philadelphia,+PA&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=34.671324,79.013672&ie=UTF8&ll=40.022373,-75.075138&spn=0.008183,0.01929&z=16&iwloc=A&layer=c&cbll=40.023238,-75.076788&panoid=3FVc5jxxXnhahsKcpL-xsw&cbp=12,55,,0,5

If this is the case (and the driver was not letting the person off in front of the church's) the car driver would be most at fault. Of course, SEPTA drivers are supposed to let people off at safe locations...despite the idiocy of fellow car drivers (like the police car that almost hit me as I was exiting a 10 trolley car - you aren't supposed to pass on the right for a reason!).

So, you know how you want to get off at a certain location, and the driver says no, and you think of how much of a jerk he/she is? Well, this is why they have to be such a jerk...

That intersection mentioned above is the worst for a bus drop off point.

I don't know why SEPTA would let their passengers off at such a location. I have trouble myself getting across there.

Now they are paying the price.
