After going though many photos in the photo gallery, I've found this image:

Found it pretty interesting, considering I didn't even know the gray trim scheme was ever being used on the K-cars.

Having grown up on Elmwood Avenue, I remember seeing this car. This scheme was started, I believe, to correspond to the arrival of the Neos, that originally were delivered with the darker window trim. Septa even applied the window dressing to the Flxs and Fishbowls that were still hanging around

9106 was the other car that had this paint scheme.

That gray scheme would have looked nice on the K-cars. Only thing that is missing above thhe windows is the red and blue lines. which wound up on the neos

My mistake there. There were never any neoplans with the gray trim and blue red strips above. I could have swore I saw a couple of them with the stripes but thats for another discussion.

Out of all the paint schemes i've seen i'd have to say that was my favorite. PCC car 2730 (now 2330) was repainted with the grey window band around the windows back in 1989. I heard about 9063 and 9106 getting that scheme to but this is the first time i saw a pic of one of them. Very nice!

Oh! 2330 definitely is a historic vehicle! Heh, back in the 80's, SEPTA put that grey/black trim on just about every type of passenger vehicle outside of the Silverliners.
