LUCY and 35 will still need something small, although I occasionally see LUCY's loaded to the gills in the peak hours. SEPTA will probably look to some new idea to gobble up 35 with 32 or 61 again and that will go the same route as past attempts. When the El D's were purchased they were acknowledged to have a 10-year service life, so it should come as no surprise that they are being considered for replacement. |

Only 10 years? That sucks that is why they are so crappy sometimes. If they go with hybrid replacement and they are 31 or 35 foot then I believe the only place they can go with is NABI. But there is about a year left New Flyer can come out with an LFR version of a 35 or 21 ft bus. |
