Here's a map of my proposed route 135, running from Warrington (Valley Square Shopping Center) to Franklin Mills Mall via Neshaminy Mall, Warminster, Southampton, and Parx Casino. Also have some trips going to Cornwells Heights for commuters to NY!

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=111444555933077066626.000478d2631823f8f7741&t=h&z=11

Of course, with me being me, somehow I'm making this into an Action Transit route (my fantasy system) or some bohemouth of a rushbus route. As a rushbus, I see it with CNG powered Orion VII NGs. As Action Transit, I see it using...older Orion VIIs. (or rebuilt Flxible Metros like this Metro B!)

How often would it run?

Alas, only about hourly - a typical Bucks County route headway. Perhaps 6 or 7 AM to 8 or 9 PM to start. It would also run on the conservative side, with Monday thru Saturday service.

It would be rather long, though - about 23 miles one way. I'd predict it could have around an 80 minute one way travel time, depending on the traffic (which can be awful).

Frustratingly, this line may require 4 or 5 buses due to its length and potential traffic delays.

Oh, I forgot. This assumes that another idea someone presented, to have the 130 run to Bristol via the 128 routing (between Neshaminy Mall and Bristol Borough) would happen, so this wouldn't really duplicate the 130 between Neshaminy and Franklin Mills.

Also, parts of this may have been part of the 303 proposal which was presented to SEPTA by TMA Bucks way back when. This eliminates that Doylestown portion, instead permitting a transfer to the 55 for folks who want to go up there.

In my opinion, it would be better to run the route all the way up to Doylestown. More people will ride it if they have a one seat ride to Doylestown than they would if they had to transfer to the 55 (which can be unreliable at times). The direct ride to Doylestown would attract Bucks County residents from the lower portions of the county who need to conduct county business in Doylestown, the county seat.

Also, the 130 taking over the 128 between Neshaminy and Bristol would give Bristol residents a direct shot to Bucks County Community College. Not many people will take the bus to BCCC from Franklin Mills. Bristol is a much better market.
