The only buses to go to frankford depot are only 8319-8339. I wonder why they have not come yet. It may take a while because they start in 2008 and end in 2011 or 2012 with the Puchase from New Flyer of 400 New Hybrids.

The 08-09 orders for 100-120 per year are complete and frankford got the 2 options for a total of 40 buses. The order is set to end in 2011. There's still 200-240 buses to come with 100-120 in 2010 and 100-120 in 2011.

If they were all in then the Nabi's would be gone (maybe?).

That is what SEPTA's service plan says for the next few years. The NABI's have lasted their useful life. It still fascinates me that the Neoplan AN-440's held out 18 to 19 years, a fine piece of German engineering! Many operators you speak to hold them in high regard. Others were just the opposite, they hated them.

To correct the math....
100 buses arrived in 2008 (8120-8219)
120 buses arrived in 2009 (8220-8339)

Only 220 buses on the property.

The first 100 was the base order for this year; Frankford got 20 buses in the option order (8320-8339).

That's 220 delivered, and anywhere from 200 to 260 to go.

Expect 8340-8439 or 8459 in 2010.
