If I recall correctly the 'new' (current) scheme first appeared in '97, after when all the NABI's had been delivered (in the old belt stripe scheme with the black window area - the window areas on Neo's started getting painted white in '93-'94 and the black treatment for the NABI's (almost said Ikarus!) was an add-on to the order for some reason). The NABI's retired the RTS's.

Also, the current scheme has a white window area. Adding this to the RTS would be tough as the window frames, etc were black, so those would need to be repainted and it wouldn't match the flashing/gaskets, etc.

Thus, I would highly doubt that any ever got the roof stripe, but I'd like to see a photo if one did.

From what I've read and understood over the years, there was one RTS that was chosen for the scheme as some sort of experiment. I'll try to get the person to post on here and tell us more about this bus.

Cool. It's bizarre they would choose an RTS over a Neoplan, though.

It's good to know that it wasn't a phantom of my imagination.
