They probably needed to replace signs on the Snakes, since TwinVision no longer makes the LeDOT flip-dot signs. |

I am little disgruntled as to how come SEPTA has not released an official diecast model of the Neoplan AN440T-AK to be released in the gift shop at 1234 Market. That was the best bus in the fleet's history. Do you how much money SEPTA would off of something like that?!?!!?!? I would be the first to buy it. |

SEPTA doesn't make stuff like that though. I wish there was some modeler out there that offered Neoplan products. I loved those buses and I would buy one of these models in an instant, regardless of costs...almost. |

Try a search on eBay with the keyword of "Neoplan". There are several excellent diecast Neoplan bus models around-but almost all of them are of the original German buses. BTW, in the late 1980's, the Japanese company Tomy made a HO scale model of a Volvo B10m artic. It's a shame that it was set up w/left-hand doors for right-hand drive. Otherwise, it was almost a dead-on replica of SEPTA's Volvos. |
