Those Neoplans are really out and about during the week. I should ride the 71 to the end of the line one day.

You should ride the 71 from end to end. it takes less than 30 minutes to go from Harvard to Watertown.

The Neos that run on the 57, you can see them at Kenmore Sq terminal, and at Watertown on the 70/70a.

BTW, the 57 bus is actually the long-dead "A" trolley that used to run on the Green Line.

The Neo diesels also show up regularly on the "CT" and 500-series express routes. Spotted a couple of them the other day when I made a quick trip to Boston.

rest in peace to all AN440's that ran the Philadelphia area streets

Man those Neoplan AN440LF's look good. Imagine if Neoplan would have won that 2001 bid and not New Flyer. Those buses would have looked good in SEPTA colors.

Yup, that's how I got my Neoplan ride - on the CT1 from Ruggles to MIT. I really like them; it's too bad they have such issues though. In fact, when I was at Harvard waiting for an RTS, one diesel Neoplan actually shut off when entering the platform area - yikes!

I should definitely look out for the 57 the next time I make my way up there.

Which may be the reason they don't run on weekends. When I went up on a Saturday last summer, I saw nothing but NABIs, New Flyers (D40LFs and artics), Neo artics and TTs. Didn't see a Neoplan 40-ft diesel at all that day.
