Pcc II cars and Southern's and callowhill's 5400's are currently undergoing new paint jobs and fixed maitnence. 2328 being the first car being repainted and fixed body work. " if anybody ever noticed the big ass dent on the driver side with the long scratch along the car." It looks brand new now! Like if it was the first day of service, not to mention it has new seats with minor changes to them. The seats are a tab bit of a darker green then before and the creamish part of the trolley. 2325 is also being repainted and fixed maitnence looks a little darker also compare to the rest of the pcc's. As far as the 5400's go. Callowhill' 5448 (I think) has a fresh paint job also new seats(same as before, just fresh ones!) On southern's behalf, I'm not sure which 54's are repainted. I believe 5494 is one of them are repainted and fixed maitnence.

Thank goodness the PCC-II's are getting love now, as well as the 01 NF's. I thought the 01 NFs would go all the way to retirement without some sort of minor treatment done. I hope they tweak the engine a little on Callowhills suckers. The PCC-II cars had alot of scratches and dents that exposed rust spots on the cars. I'm glad they changed the seat inserts to, I never had a comfortable ride on those PCC-IIs

Ridden on #5445 today on the route 65, this could be the bus mentioned above as #5448. The bus received a new decals with a new paint job, new seat inserts, the black trim on the doors doors were repainted, the interior of the vent on the right-back-hand side of the bus was repainted, with the dashboard dusted off. All of the ads from the interior of the bus has been removed. It appears that 5445 has received an light overhaul. Also the engine sounded very healthy as well, and the bus does not vibrate during idle, either. There is some turbolag, but not as severe as on the majority of the 2001 New Flyers.

Great news, the Rte. 15 cars were looking shabby, This repair has been needed for a long time.

maybe this is a dumb question, but why do they have all the colors of the PCC-II's the same color? I mean I understand that they are painted their historical colors, but why not mix it up like in SF and make them all different colors?

I would love to see the "Gulf Oil" colors again.

Saw 5480 today on the I-76, this appears to have gotten a LOH.

I did ride 5448 today, the bus didn't receive any new treatment, the bus was fast as a rocket though, the driver was pushing it.
