Just a rumor but a SEPTA person says the new Hybrid Artics will be Orion's. Don't get excited yet, I need more proof. |

Cool, please get more info when you can! It would be interesting because Orion doesn't produce an articulated vehicle...yet. |

I hope it is true, because sometimes certain forums (not ours, but not naming any names... *cough cough* NY *cough cough*) say things that are NOT TRUE just to get a buzz or get people to talk about something... but I REALLY hope this is true... |

Hmm - I wonder why SEPTA would "hate" Orions. Was the VII demo that bad (I wouldn't be surprised as I'm not a fan of the VII)? |

Which may not be ready for prototypes by 2013-2014 at the earliest. Unless someone at Orion knows something we don't know, then I think we can rule out Orion artics for SEPTA's order. |

I know where your talking about *cough cough* new yorker here*cough*. Lol There has been rumors for years about an article Orion. Given the company's acquisitions, we did test a European (citaro I beleive) artic around 2 years ago and the MTA is always showing interest in new Orion projects( the VI and the VII) and the rumors start to fly. Currently, there is no prototype for such a model. We will see the RTS low floor before then. Congrats on the Novas btw. They run great up here! |
