Route 306 will be officially discontinued at the end of business on January 20, 2012. Reason for this is lack of fundings and low ridership.

Service Advisory | Route 306

Quote:

Service Discontinued
End of the Service Day | Friday, January 20, 2012
Due to low ridership and loss of funding from the U.S. Route 202 reconstruction project, Route 306 bus service will be permanently discontinued at the completion of the service day on Friday, January 20, 2012
As an alternate, customers traveling from West Chester to points along Route 306 may use Route 92 to Paoli Train Station, then transfer to one of the following services:
Route 204 | Eagleview to Paoli Station
For travel to Uptown Worthington and destinations along the U.S. 30 corridor
Route 205 | Phoenixville to Paoli Station or Route 206 | Great Valley Corporate Center to Paoli Station
For travel to destinations in the Great Valley Corporate Center

SEPTA has been continue discontinuing , rerouting, and/or merging routes into one route since the beginning of fall of this year in response to changing ridership demand throughout the recent periods.

That means all three hundred series route previously operated by Krapf's are discontinued, and it leaves Krapf's only two two hundred series route (Route 204 and 205) that they still continue to operate.

Riders to and from West Chester and Great Valley Area will have to find themselves alternate transporation via Route 92, 204, 205, 206.
