Now is that before or after you realize you're smooshed up between the wheel well and the driver wall...

Maybe the additional 3 feet you are above the ground will make you feel much more comfortable

I like swinging my legs at time. It's like the BSL railfan seat...only with no railfan window. At least you'll have the wheelwell next to you for your board/card games, dinner, etc...provided SEPTA doesn't place that behemoth of a box there like they do for...all of the New Flyers :(.

That might be standard equipment the MTA artics have it there. Or at least that I've ridden on the SBS15.

Looks like SEPTA is getting the new , updated interior style on their Novabuses. Check out the short film describing the changes.
I like the interior!
Today is Thursday, March 22, 2102. Have we heard if SEPTA locked in on the NOVA order?
Or is still up in the air?

To tell you the truth, I dont think that SEPTA has any choice because there aren't any other reputable transit manufacturers out there that have proven themselves besides Neoplan, New Flyer, GMC, and NovaBus. You really think SEPTA is going to take any risks again with other companies just like they did in 1995 when they ordered the NABIs? Not in this economy they won't especially with the low funding they have now.

It's primarily a matter of bidding... NABI has proven itself...just not here, lol. I think the NABIs that run in Delaware are nice buses, and NABIs are well liked over in the west...I think. It's just too bad NABI made some unwise decisions in regards to warranties and customer relations that soured its relationship with SEPTA and Baltimore MTA (if I remember correctly).

I also like the ones over in New Jersey but I think the wheels are just too big. However, I think that you are right as far as NABI making unwise decisions because I remember clearly how within 1996, they were already problems with the NABIs especially with NABI 5155 that I ridden when I was in the 4th grade, the bus kept breaking down.
