The old combo of the H/L from OTC to Cheltenham? Likely because thanks to Job Access Reverse Commute funding, SEPTA extended the L OWL all the way out to Plymouth Meeting Mall.

Several years ago, before 2002 or 2003, the L Nite OWL service went to Cheltenham and Ogontz instead of Plymouth Meeting Mall.

Route L buses would leave Olney Transportation Center and follow the normal route up to Mt. Airy Ave. Then they would turn right and follow the H routing to Cheltenham and Ogontz Loop.

This was discontinued when SEPTA received Job Access Reverse Commute funding to allow route L buses to go all the way out to the mall for people that work farther out in the city and in the burbs.

There was an R/J/73 owl combo that operated similarly in the past, following the regular R route, then to Frankford Ave and over the J east of Frankford, then to Richmond and over the 73 to Westmoreland.

Hmmmm..... What I am thinking is that the 65 should return nite owl. The 18 as well should return to nite owl; but from Cheltenham-Ogontz (to connect with the 6). I also think a local 61 and the 9 (or a combo of both) running nite owl would be great for the Manyunk-Roxborough area. I used to live not that far from that area and love Main Street and with service in that area would make sense. as for North Philadelphia, that is a LONG WALK to either decide to take the 15 or 60 to get to work, because I know riders try to conserve their transfer (retarded you only use it once) and get to the nearest bus that can drop them off at the closest destination. And trust me. Being out a 2 in the morning walking from Allegheny to Dauphin is LONG at nite, So I think it would really make sense is to combine the 25 and 39 for owl service to 33rd-Dauphin loop.

The 33 runs all night but on 22nd Street. Also, I think the 3, 39, 48, and 54 should run all night it would be more convenient for people who live in North Philadelphia west of Broad Street and south of Lehigh, but north of Girard.
