With the new schedule the 132 will have a route change will service hatifield town center

also the new bus stop on ridge ave at the bottom of the exit ramp near wtc will be used as a layover area instead of wtc since too many buses take up space in there as far as the 124 125 are concerned

Where on the route is Hatfield town Center located? How will buses layover at that new stop on Ridge Ave? I actually thought it was going to be the new stop for the 9, 27, 61, and 65 so that they can restructure the way traffic flows on that section of Ridge Ave (which is a touch dangerous, particularly when a bus is parked at the stop). The thing is, transfering would be less than stellar unless the R and 1 stopped at this stop as well...but that would be tough for the buses.

How will buses use this area as a layover? Since 38 and R (and some short-turn 61's) are the routes that end here (1, 35, 124 and 125 all go through), they would have to discharge their passengers at the layby area and remain there. If they went to the loop to empty out, they couldn't get back to the layby. Also, the passengers would have to walk to the bridge where the stop for the through routes is still located if they were looking to transfer to another route.

I've seen buses on relief and waiting to go into service use the layby but nothing else. I'm not sure if SEPTA intends to move the entire stop to this location, which, as noted, would add a bit of a walk for most riders. I know the State built the layby with the intent that the stop could move there but SEPTA never bought in.
