May 31st, 2012 was the end of most Chinatown Bus Lines following a surprise visits from the Feds whom them shut down following multiple safety violations and towing of their buses. People thought that was the end of the era.

But it is not, today while I was out at the market, I saw a flyer about a new Chinatown Bus Service (Operated by Designer Limo) in Northeast Philly that announces new service between Philly and New York. They operated from both Philly and/or Northeast Philly to New York. Looks like this marks the revival of them. Buses used are Setra Motorcoach as the picture is shown there of the buses presumed to be use on the service.

The ad looks to me to have just a stock DRAWING of a Setra. It would be interesting to see what type of equipment will in fact be used for this service-as well as the true identity (USDOT number) of the operators.

Hopefully this isn't a reincarnated company. Now that you brought this up, I did see a maroon bus from a company called "Yo Bus" on the NJ Turnpike when I was on my way home from New York yesterday. According to graphics on the bus, it stops somewhere in Philadelphia as well, but I couldn't find information about the company online.

That red yobus.com is a greyhound bus. U can find it at the terminal or at they yard on delaware ave. It runs on NYD-PHL runs.

YO! Bus boards from Greyhound Bus Terminal which is next to Chinatown. I'm sure passengers used to Chinatown Bus Line will find their new experience on the Chinatown Bus Service by Greyhound.

North on 10th Street (north of 10th and Vine Street area) another Chinatown Bus Service is offered at that location. Bus Operator is VIP2Tours and GOTOBUS according to the lettering on the window
