![]() Back in 1976 I bought a copy of this book for my father for Christmas because it covered the era he grew up in before World War II. Years later I asked to borrow it, but he had loaned it to someone else and it was never returned. A few days ago I saw one for sale on eBay, bought it for eight bucks, and am enjoying it. Here's the obit for the great author, Jack Boorse: All About the Author If you don't have a copy, you can find one by doing a Google search. |

I worked with the author for many years and we became good friends - a good guy, very knowledgable, and a recognized expert in light rail systems. |
