:: After the final match of Glory had came to an end, Damon Steele was stopped in the back by none other than Jonathon Coachman. With the microphone being extended his way, an exhausted Steele would be caught off-guard for a shoot interview in the backstage area. :: Coach : .. Damon. You were rather impressive out there tonight in your NGPW debut. I noticed you have added a whole bunch of aerial assaults to your book of moves .. Damon: .. Yeah. I know what the fans like to see, I know what gets the ratings going up for the federation; and that's why Tad brought me here for. I'm just here to do my job, ya'know. Coach: Yeah, of course. I also peeped how you brought the return of End of Heaven to the forefront. Why was that? Damon: .. Well. There are just a lot of newcomers here who don't understand the main rule in Thad Inc. And that is strength in numbers. It's how it has been, and how it always will be. Me being the veteran that I am .. I knew right when I came here who the perfect two were to form an alliance with right off the bat. None other than my former tag team partner, Tyson Hunt. And a former trainee of mines, Nero Kross -- who might I add has stepped his game up a whole lot while I've been gone. The kids makes me proud. :: Wiped a fake tear from under his right eye with an added sniffle. :: Coach: Alright, Damon. Since I know you're fatigued from that last EoH handicap match, what are your thoughts on the upcoming PPV? You know you're booked against Mr. Highlight in a 3 on 1, right? Come Friday? The entire Damon: .. Yeah. I'm not really interested in that match, Coachman. I mean, I'm going to go into that match starting it off for my team .. an' basically get Mr. Highlight outta' the big leagues. This is not a place for a lil' man like Mr. Highlight so I'm going to take it upon myself to take out the trash -- but there is a match I'm actually quite interested in now that you ask, Coach. Coach: .. And that is? Damon: Which do you think, Jonathon? The match I've mastered over my career, the match where I won three heavyweight Thad Inc. titles. The event in which ONLY I have won consecutively twice. The Elimination Chamber match. Now Tad .. if you're listenin'? Oh and I know you are .. I'm asking you, actually .. I'm BEGGING you to put me in that match -- and I guarantee I will show the entire federation why the number "3" always revolves around my name. Come Friday? The entire NGPW is goin' to feel a STEELE IMPACT. |
