THURSDAY SMACKDOWN! Nashville Fairgounds ~ Nashville, Tennessee CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Spike Dudley © d. Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero & Billy Kidman The opening match of WWE Smackdown under the helm of the new owner of WWE Tad Peters would take place with the Cruiserweight division being lit up. Spike Dudley would be defending his belt tonight against three of the top cruiserweights in the world and that's what happened. For most of the match, Kidman took the beating to Mysterio while Guerrero and Dudley fought off in this four way. Kidman would try to hit his shooting star press but Mysterio would roll out of the way and allow Chavo to toss Mysterio out of the ring. Spike Dudley would wait for Chavo to turn around and hit him with the Acid Drop to take Chavo down and hook his leg for the cover to retain his championship belt at the opening of Smackdown! TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS The Dudley Boyz d. Suzuki/Dupree © & Basham Brothers The Dudleyz made their surprise return to WWE tonight against two other teams that have made their presence felt on the Smackdown! brand. D-Von and Bubba looked pumped up as ever and ready to grab another tag title reign as the WWE Champions tonight in this three team elimination brawl. Suzuki would get kicked out of the ring from a double team by the Basham's, enabling the Dudleyz and the Bashams to kick the hell out of Dupree together in order to become new champions. But then, the Dudleyz and the Bashams turned on each other and began brawling. D-Von was taken down with a hip toss but Bubba reversed a suplex and dropped Danny Basham with the Bubba Cutter. Doug Basham grabbed Bubba by his short hair and was about to end the match but Suzuki came back in the ring and kicked Doug in the head. A cover by Suzuki but a two count. Spike Dudley runs down the ramp with his belt and cracks it over the head of Suzuki and D-Von goes for the cover. Dupree climbs onto the ring apron but Spike low blows him as The Dudley Boyz win the tag team titles! UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP Hardcore Holly d. John Cena © & Rob Van Dam The United States Championship was at stake next between three of the toughest men on Smackdown! Holly, Cena and RVD were in an action packed triple threat match with no rest whatsoever coming from the three of them. When one person fell down or was kicked out of the ring, another stood up to replace him. RVD would nail his rolling thunder onto Holly but Cena caught RVD with a foot to his gut and lifted him up into the F-U! Cena dropped RVD with the F-U onto the canvas and Hardcore Holly grabbed Cena's shorts and rolled him into a pinfall right after he connected. Holly wins the match and becomes the new United States Champion! On the titantron is the WWE Champion; John Bradshaw Layfield. He smiles down at Cena with Orlando Jordan behind him and rubs his hands together. A MESSAGE TO CENA FROM JBL JBL appears on the titantron right after the match is over and smiles down at the irritated Cena. He tells Cena it was too bad he lost his U. S. Championship with the spinny thing and all, and it's also too bad he'll never get a shot at the WWE Championship either. JBL laughs and leaves the screen as Cena walks backstage looking pissed off and ready to take out some frustrations. SIX MAN TAG EXTRAVAGANZA! Shannon Moore, Booker T & Heidenreich d. Paul London, Carlito & Ultimo Dragon This would be a great match between six competitors on Smackdown as they all met in full force. Moore and London went at each other using high flying skills while Booker and Heidenreich tried to keep up with Carlito and Ultimo Dragon, who was rumored to return back to Japan really soon because his WWE contract expired this month. Heidenreich tossed Ultimo Dragon into the ropes but he reversed and came back with an enzurigi. Booker rushed into the ring and Carlito met him with a tackle out of the ring sending both men out. Paul London climbed onto the top rope and did a full somersault to flip in the air and land on Shannon Moore inside the ring with a splash. Dragon would lock Heidenreich into the Dragon Sleeper but Heidenreich would power out and kick the dragon out of the ring. London got off of Moore in time as Heidenreich dropped an elbow to hit his own teammate and Paul London tried to take Heidenreich down with a huracanrana, but Heidenreich reversed and powerbombed London into the ring canvas for the three count. This drew boos from the audience as Heidenreich left the ring looking crazy as usual. MAIN EVENT: WWE CHAMPIONSHIP John Bradshaw Layfield © d. Eddie Guerrero The final match of Smackdown would be between two old rivals over the top piece of hardware on the brand. During the match, Kurt Angle and Big Show both came at ringside to watch the match on either side of the ring, drawing interest from the fans. What were they going to do? It seemed all the main eventers on Smackdown were here as Guerrero connected his three amigos on JBL sending him flying. Orlando Jordan would come running down the stage to help but get booted by the Big Show, knocking the black man down! Then, the arena lights went completely out leaving everyone in darkness as The Undertaker's theme started playing! The crowd cheered loudly as The Undertaker appeared in the ring between JBL and Guerrero and both champ and challenger began trying to double team the deadman! Angle and Big Show got into the ring and tried to help out, making it a four-on-one on The Undertaker! The Phenom held them all off, chokeslamming Guerrero and Kurt Angle both and booting JBL in the face. Undertaker and Big Show stared each other down then started brawling with one another as JOHN CENA ran down the stage with fury and revenge on his mind! Cena waited for JBL to stand up inside the ring and then connected the F-U on the WWE Champion! Turning around, Cena wouldn't have much time to celebrate as Undertaker AND Big Show both chokeslammed Cena at the same time, sending him straight to hell! With bodies lying all over the place, Undertaker and Big Show stared each other down as the end of Smackdown came! RESULT: 7,200 (SELL-OUT) 88.32 Total Rating Paul London injured and out for 4 months |

MONDAY RAW Freedom Hall TAD WELCOMES EVERYONE TO WWE AND RAW The opening of RAW hits and Tad Peters' theme plays and shows his titantron video from his past in such federations as RCWF and NGPW. Tad walks down the stage wearing a suit and his hair back in a little bun and he had a smile on his face the whole time. He raised his microphone up once he was inside the ring and waved at everyone. Well, hello there fellas! It's good to be here on live television on Spike TV being viewed all over the world from this very ring. As some of you know, last week I took WWE over from Vince McMahon because I said I could do a better job than him and his staff, so I took it ALL over. Now, I am starting the WWE over from scratch and last Thursday was the debut of me running the reigns here in WWE. Now, for most of you wondering no this is not a gimmick and no there aren't any strings attached. This is MY show and I'm running the things around here. I'm not limited to Smackdown or RAW I AM WWE! As far as tonight goes, you are going to see some changes here on Monday RAW and you are going to witness them right this very second! So without further adue allow me to introduce to you the newest faction here in WWE. This is The Corporation and with me are two top stars from the independents ladies and gentlemen. They are Nathan James and Guy Silencine and they are here to enforce the rules and make sure everything goes the way of Tad Peters... OR ELSE. Guy Silencine and Nathan James make it to the ring with Tad and they stand in the middle of the ring until the Evolution music hits, interrupting them. Triple H walks out with the World Heavyweight Title on his shoulder with Ric Flair behind him. Together they look down at the new owner and laugh to one another. HHH asks Tad if he has even passed puberty yet and the crowd laughs. HHH tells Tad that nobody runs the show except Evolution and Triple H, because he is the game. Tad looks angry and points a finger at HHH tells him to shut his big mouth right now or he's gonna pay for it later tonight. Triple H looks mockingly scared then continues saying the only woman Tad has ever had is the two losers in the ring with him. Tad tells HHH that is IT! Tad books Triple H and Ric Flair against Randy Orton and Batista tonight in a no disqualification match! HHH looks pissed and growls but just leaves before he gets into a bigger mess. Tad looks at the crowd then Nate and Guy then they go backstage as well to kick off Monday RAW. INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH Chris Jericho © d. Tommy Dreamer The first match of Monday RAW kicks off with the Ayatollah of Rock'n Rolla taking on Mr. ECW himself in a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. Jericho and Dreamer go at one another with everything and Dreamer even pulls out a kendo stick to put the beatdown on Jericho early on. Jericho ducks a kendo swing and dropkicks Dreamer's legs and then grabs the ladder. Jericho throws the ladder at Dreamer and his face gets busted open and he begins to bleed. Jericho leans the ladder against the middle ropes and irish whips Dreamer but Dreamer reverses and throws Jericho into it instead! Dreamer climbs the top rope near Jericho's leaning position and drops a leg across Jericho while he's leaning against the ladder! Jericho rolls off and Dreamer picks the ladder up and sets it up. Jericho stumbles on the other side and follows Dreamer up and they are both reaching for the belt! Jericho drills Dreamer with some fists then headbutts him. Dreamer almost falls off, only having one foot on the ladder and Jericho pie-faces Dreamer off the ladder to go crashing through a table at ringside! The fans chant ECW! ECW! ECW! as Jericho grabs the belt to retain his championship! EDGE & CHRISTIAN REUNITE Edge is walking backstage locked in arm around Lita and talking about their hotel room later tonight as Christian enters the picture with Tomko. Christian smirks at his brother and then Lita and shakes his head. Christian asks Edge if he has been spearing Lita lately? Edge says he has and Lita looks embarassed. Tomko crosses his arms as Christian tells Edge they should team up to take over the tag team titles since those losers La Resistance are the champs. Edge agrees and they shake hands, figuring that if they won the tag team titles together then they could go after Triple H at the same time for the World Championship together like family. Edge and Christian leave the screen with Lita following behind and Tomko looks down at Lita's ass as she leaves the screen and Tomko raises his eyebrows and leaves with them. SINGLES MATCH Viscera d. Shelton Benjamin The next match would be between the massive Viscera and Shelton Benjamin. The agile star would try his best against the simply inhuman and large mound called Viscera and actually take him down during the first of the match to make look like he had a chance. Then out of nowhere Viscera powered back and tossed Shelton into the corner of the ring and squashed him under his weight. Viscera clapped both of Shelton's eardrums and choked him with both hands, raising him off of his feet then throwing him onto the canvas. Viscera would bounce himself off the ropes and come back to splash on top of Shelton with a giant splash and almost crushing Shelton under his large weight. Viscera wins the three count since Shelton couldn't possibly move under the weight. HANDICAP MATCH Kane d. La Resistance This match seemed very even between the big red machine and the tag team champions as they came to the ring. Kane took early advantage of both Sylvian and Rob Conway and powered them down until Conway grabbed one of the tag team titles and hit Kane in the back of the head with it. From there, the match went downhill as the Quebecers took to the monster, stomping him and beating him down on and on again. Kane would keep sitting back up but wouldn't find a time to mount a comeback. Then, Edge and Christian came dashing down the stage together and entered the ring while Lita distracted the referee! Edge and Christian grabbed La Resistance and irish whipped the two men into one another then gave them both dropkicks sending him out of the ring. Tomko tossed two chairs inside the ring and the brothers picked them up. When Kane sat back up again, Edge and Christian connected the con-chair-to onto the big red machine knocking him back down! The crowd began to boo as Christian tossed Conway back into the ring and rolled Kane on top of them to make a statement. They watched from the stage as Kane beat the tag team champions but not after severe punishment from the new faction they had created. SINGLES MATCH Chris Benoit d. Steven Richards The last match before the main event was a rather awkward one. Seeing Benoit take on Steven Richards was an odd sight and a reminder that Tad Peters was now in charge of the WWE. Richards and Benoit had a very well even match, but with Benoit getting the upper hand with numerous suplexes sending Richards across the ring. Richards stood up and poked Benoit in the eye, then connected with a neckbreaker. A lot of the ECW fans cheered in unison as Richards began to assault Benoit and have a good chance at winning the match. Then, Benoit would steal Richards leg and trip him to the canvas and spin around to lock him into the sharpshooter! Richards made it to the ropes almost quickly but Benoit dragged him back to the center of the ring and Richards tried to make it out to the ropes again but Benoit sat down into the hold and Richards tapped out as the crowd didn't know who to cheer for but knew it was a good match between the two. LAST MINUTE PEP TALK Hunter is backstage with Ric Flair talking strategy as Tad Peters walks in with Nathan and Guy. Tad asks HHH if he is having a hard time coping with tonight's match but HHH says he will be fine and after he wins this waste of his time he is coming after Tad Peters and his goons and that he is running WWE the wrong way, the worst way possible. Tad tells HHH that he better be ready to defend his belt because next week it's going to be put on the line against a mystery opponent. Tad smiles and walks out as Flair gets into Guy's face and stares at him. MAIN EVENT: TAG TEAM MATCH Triple H & Ric Flair d. Batista & Randy Orton The final match of RAW would be between all four members of the Evolution stable, or what was once of it. HHH was the champ with his sidekick Flair against the two revolters of Evolution Batista and Orton. All four men looked sharp in the ring although HHH looked peeved that he had to defend his belt next week on RAW he was clearly distracted. Batista would throw Flair into the air with a back body drop then knock HHH off the ring apron. Tagging Orton into the ring, Orton would cross the ring and while Flair was getting up, nail him with an uppercut or two. HHH would get onto the ring apron and pull his sledgehammer out and climb into the ring, ready to nail Orton with it from behind. Batista would run into the ring and intercept HHH and kick him in the gut, getting him ready for the sitout powerbomb. Randy Orton would pick up the sledgehammer and grin at Ric Flair while he was down, raising it above his head. Then, Orton would turn out of nowhere and hit Batista in the back with the sledgehammer, betraying him and knocking the animal down to the ground! The fans would boo loudly as Orton helped HHH and Flair to their feet and raise their hands into the air! It looked like the Evolution stable had been revived tonight with Orton, Flair and Trips back together once again. They stood over the body of Batista while he was down as RAW went off the air on Spike TV. RESULT: 11,000 (SELL-OUT) 88.08% Total Rating $53158284 |

THURSDAY SMACKDOWN! Arrowhead Pond CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE LADDER MATCH Spike Dudley © d. Rey Mysterio In another edition to Spike Dudley's reign as Cruiserweight Champion, we would see him defending the belt against Mysterio to kick off Smackdown! in a ladder match. Both men entered the ring and Spike went after the ladder immediately. Mysterio would kick the ladder into Spike's face sending him reeling back into the ropes. Mysterio threw the ladder on top of Spike and climbed the top rope and stomped the ladder into Spike's body! Mysterio set the ladder up and climbed halfway up when Spike finally got back up and shoved the ladder over and sending Mysterio into the ringropes neck-first and bouncing off of them. Spike would latch his arms around Mysterio's neck and jump in the air, connecting with the Acid Drop! Spike would then climb up the ladder and grab his belt to retain his Cruiserweight Championship! HANDICAP MATCH Kurt Angle & Eddie Guerrero d. The Undertaker After last week's ending on Smackdown, Angle and Guerrero wanted some revenge and although they didn't like each other, they still teamed together to dish out the pain to the deadman once and for all. Angle and Guerrero showed some true tag team skill together as they kept the match fast paced against the slow but deadly Undertaker. After Undertaker would deliver a chokeslam to Guerrero, Angle would come from behind and chop block the deadman to send him on his back. Angle wrapped his arms around Undertaker's ankle for the lock, but the phenom kicked Angle off and stood up. Guerrero poked Undertaker in the eye and rolled him up into a pinfall but Undertaker kicked out. Angle and Guerrero tried to take Undertaker down together with a double brainbuster and the deadman finally fell to both of them after the double-team. Big Show would come down the stage slowly and enter the ring behind Angle and Guerrero and catch both of them with giant chokeslams! Big Show raised his arm in the air as the crowd cheered! Undertaker sat up in front of the Big Show as he did this, snarling at him. UNITED STATES #1 CONTENDERSHIP Rob Van Dam d. Heidenreich, Booker T, Carlito, Dupree & Orlando This was definitely a slobberfest as six competitors came to the ring ready to takepart in this giant match to see who would face Hardcore Holly at the next pay-per-view for the belt. All six competitors were either former holders of the belt or deserving of it so it was a hard pick at the start as all six clashed together and began fighting one another. Heidenreich would go around and knock everyone down until the other five teamed up on the huge man and they threw him out of the ring. They all returned to kicking each others' asses after and Booker T hit his Bookend on Orlando Jordan. Booker went for the three count but RVD hit him with the rolling thunder. Carlito would throw RVD out of the ring and turn in time to get a stiff clothesline from Dupree. Dupree would go for the cover but Heidenreich came back and tore Dupree off the pin. Heidenreich lifted Dupree into the air with both hand around his throat and that's when RVD came into the ring on the top rope with a steel chair. RVD jumped off the top rope and threw the chair at Heidenreich to kick it into his face with the Van Daminator! The crowd cheered loudly with ECW!, ECW!, ECW! as RVD hopped onto Heidenreich for the pin and got the victory! ULTIMO DRAGON'S FINAL WWE MATCH Ultimo Dragon d. Vince McMahon The next match caught everybody off guard as Vince McMahon came to the ring and Ultimo Dragon came after him. Everybody knew at this point Dragon was in his last week of contract with WWE and was scheduled to go back to Japan to work on his own promotion there. McMahon told the jap to get the hell out of his ring but not after he kicked his ass! The bell rang and Dragon was all over McMahon. Dragon would sloppily huracanrana McMahon across the ring and pound on his face. When McMahon tried to irish whip Dragon into the ropes, he would stand on his head for a while, WCW style. Dragon then lowered his legs around McMahon's head and flung him with a head scissors. Dragon stalked to McMahon and wrapped an arm around his head to lock him into the dragon sleeper! McMahon tapped out and Dragon left WWE with a win over the Chairman but McMahon took a microphone and said it was the last time Dragon would ever be in the WWE promotion as long as he had a partial hold of it, despite what Tad Peters had to say about things. TAG TEAM MATCH The Basham Brothers d. The Dudley Boyz The tag division on Smackdown was going to be represented next when the two top teams collided once again for the opportunity at the belts. The Dudleyz came down with Spike and soon the Basham's as well. The match was any ordinary tag team match with both teams getting their maneuvers and power drives in on one another and halfway through the match, Danny and Doug did the switcheroo without anybody except the crowd knowing. Bubba told D-Von to "GET THE TABLES" but the Basham's interrupted this by overpowering the Dudleyz. Spike would reach under the ring to pull a fire extinguisher out and spray it into the face of Danny Basham who was nearest to him! D-Von took the opportunity to bodyslam him down as Doug Basham reversed an irish whip on Bubba Ray and threw him out of the ring! Doug turned around and caught a foot by D-Von and twirled him around and kicked D-Von in the nuts! The crowd laughed as Doug pinned D-Von after the blatant shot to his groin and got the three count as Bubba Ray tried to slide back into the ring but was too late. WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH John Layfield © d. Billy Kidman It was rather weird to see Kidman taking part in a World Title Match but that's the booking Tad made. Both men came to the ring with a tired Orlando Jordon following JBL. Layfield didn't look very serious about this match but Kidman knew he had a chance to become champion. The match started and JBL powered over Kidman almost the entire match, just tossing him around and making a fool of him. Kidman tried to counter once with a clothesline but JBL just stood there smiling. Kidman tried to run and jump at JBL but he caught him and threw Kidman into the air with a fallaway slam! JBL went for the cover but the music of JOHN CENA blasted and JBL stood up, looking pissed! Cena came out in a cement truck and drove it next to the white limo of John Layfield, throwing his hands into the air to his theme song. Cena lowered the trough of the cement truck and the cement crunched the sunglass of the limo and began to plop inside the vehicle's interior! JBL looked like he saw a ghost as he then remembered Kidman as Kidman rolled JBL into a schoolboy pin. He almost got a three count but JBL kicked out and grabbed Kidman by the hair, kneeing him in the face. JBL would then swing his arm around and connect with his clothesline and pin Kidman for the three count through rage and hatred for John Cena. Cena stood on top of the cement truck with his music playing as JBL glared at him, holding the WWE Championship. RESULT: 8,381 86.80% Total Rating Spike Dudley injured for 2 months $52638824 |
