Triangle Face
Unregistered

February 1, 2006. Not one hour into Meltdown, the cameras would reveal the goings-on of the wonderful land known as backstage as they came back from commercial. More specifically, the cameras were located in the locker room of The Killer 4. Black Dragon and Styles were off camera stretching as Triangle Face stood before a television set, watching that vitriolic promo given by Jake Michaels mere days ago. His Meltdown Championship belt could be seen in the background, laying neatly on a bench in all its lustrous glory.

True to the nature of a masked wrestler, Triangle Face's head was wrapped in that showy mask he wore to the ring, although otherwise one could easily mistake him for Joe Sixpack on the street. He had on a black and white Killer 4 t-shirt, as well as a pair of old blue jeans and some brand new Nike Shox he'd treated himself to once he saw the pay raise that comes with being Meltdown Champion. His hands rested on his hips as he looked down at the screen. This was his 4th reviewing of that tape, and it had grown more unbelievable every time Michaels' rant passed through the man's ears. He shook his head in bafflement as the promo rolled on, and paused it on a particular close-up of Jake's face. Triangle Face turned slowly to the camera, extending his arm to the screen and pointing a finger at Michaels.

Now THIS... THIS is really something. THIS crap is exactly why The Killer 4 was first started. I mean, I can NOT be the only person who's seen what's going on! It's staring you right in the face, people!

What we have here, are people who can't see the business today for what it is. Why? Because times have changed, and they HATE it. The talent has evolved, the company has evolved, the whole damn INDUSTRY has evolved, and we are now left with some naysayers who are being dragged into the present kicking and screaming as they yearn for the Thad Inc. of yore, back in "the good ol' days."

Jake Michaels, I can't comprehend how you managed to go through that promo with a straight face. The veterans are being shit on by "undeserving rookies?" What-the-fuck-ever, cowboy. Was it cold living underneath that rock during the entirety of the Meltdown tournament? You know, the one I plowed through to get to you? I'm sorry your teammates couldn't cheat and break up my pin in time, but them's the breaks.

You know what the difference between guys like Krown, Jonathan Kaos, and B Nutz, and guys like myself, Jack Vegas, and Frost are?

The camera panned out, beginning to include the other three members of Killer 4, standing in the background. All four pairs of eyes were set on the camera, a true picture of team solidarity if ever there was one.

They're gone, and we're NOT. It's that goddamned simple, Michaels. You want to keep chasing that first high? You want to live in the past? Your loss, buddy boy. Thad Inc's young blood is growing in numbers every month, and there is nothing but NOTHING you can do to keep us from taking what's ours.

And the camera would cut to the next match of the night, the last thing the audience seeing is all the members of Killer 4 standing together, indivisible.
