![]() It is now May 15th, 2006 and the wrestling world eagerly awaits the return of "Billionaire" Ted Turner into professional wrestling. In probably the most shocking events of wrestling history, Vince McMahon along with his son Shane and other proteges believe that it is a necessary risk to sell back all rights of World Championship Wrestling, icons, events and logos back to Ted Turner, who is willing to pay an ungodly amount to have all of these utensils back at his disposal. In a betterment of professional wrestling as a whole, the McMahon's and everybody else waits to see how the return of WCW will effect the business. Despite having sold all materialistic trademarks, McMahon still receives a percentage of a monthly income as per the agreement of selling most of his rights. McMahon also still has the library footage of all previous WCW events and pay-per-views at his disposal, eventhough he has sold it to Ted Turner as well. Professional wrestling is now at a crossroads in the year of 2006. The AOL / Time Warner contract has ran out and Ted Turner is taking a huge risk in paying an assanine amount to bring back what once was the biggest rival to World Wrestling Entertainment. How will this effect TNA's high hopes of becoming the biggest rival to WWE? Will we see a three way dance between the top three promotions in North America? What we used to think was the ratings war was only the tip of the iceberg. CURRENT ROSTER [Last Update: June 6th, 2006] Alex Shelley Alex Wright Bam Bam Bigelow Billy Kidman Buff Bagwell Burchill CW Anderson Chris Kanyon Chuck Palumbo Crowbar David Flair David Taylor Diamond Dallas Page Disco Inferno Harry Smith Hugh Morrus Kaz Hayashi *Mike Awesome Nathan Moore Rick Steiner Scott Hall Sean O'Haire Sean Stasiak Sonny Siaki Sting Tad Peters Tank Abbott The Artist *The Messiah *Vampiro (1x United States Champion) Yoshihiro Tajiri * signifies injured or unavailable to work. |

WCW SATURDAY NIGHT Saturday, May 27th, 2006 - The Ocean Center (SELL-OUT) SEGMENT: WCW INTRODUCTION The first WCW show airing on the TNN and TNT markets opens up, showing the very last WCW Monday Nitro in history. You know the night.. When the McMahon's had bought out WCW the formerly struggling company which had showcased such great matches as Booker T versus Scott Steiner and Sting versus Ric Flair. On that night, many were depressed and solemn. On this night, many were upbeat and happy about a new chance. A new time to prove themselves worthy. Wrestling fans all across the globe were tuned into tonight to see what WCW was made of on this sneak peak of World Championship Wrestling's return. As the program opened, Ted Turner HIMSELF came out with the crowd giving a huge ovation for the man. "Billionaire Ted" would stand in the ring with the microphone and begin speaking: "You know.. I have to give Vince McMahon his dues, eventhough none of you want to hear that. We sure gave him a run for his money.. and mine too; but in the end we all know what happened. Vince bought WCW out and it was the end for me as a corporate, you as a wrestling fan, and the wrestlers themselves because they had to be scouted out like cattle through a shute. As of right now, we have signed on many wrestlers at this point.. Many of them you already know. I'd like for them stars to come out now and stand here in this ring, on this night of the return of WCW." At that time, "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright, "The Beast from the East" Bam Bam Bigelow, Hugh Morrus, Chuck Palumbo, "Who Betta Than" Chris Kanyon, Kaz Hayashi, "Buff Daddy" Buff Bagwell, Mike Awesome, "The Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner, "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri, "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iaekea" and Vampiro would come down to the ring and stand beside Ted Turner. The crowd cheered for each of these men as they were the first to step up and sign with WCW, giving the company a second chance.. or even a first chance despite all the bad reputation WCW had through the years. "I am proud to say that these men in this ring with me are the backbone of World Championship Wrestling. They are the men who took a huge risk in signing back with this company and wanting to be a part of this once again. I can tell you now that the old rubbish and despickable environment that WCW used to be will be no longer! Things will be done the RIGHT way, by the RIGHT people. And trust me when I say that this isn't all of our roster that will be gracing our ring! There's more than this coming at you, quite possibly at our debut on the prime time Monday Night slot! That's right, we're going to start out going up against Monday Night RAW and see if we can't put a little fire in their butts!" Mike Awesome would take the microphone from Ted Turner after shaking his hand, then smirk at the camera. "What he means to say is.... VINCE MCMAHON!.. WE'RE COMING FOR YOU! MATCH #1 [84%] Kaz Hayashi vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri The opening match started after a commercial break. The two Japanese stars squared off in a respectful bout. Tajiri and Hayashi both added some fast-paced high speed action to air the first match in a WCW ring since it had been bought out years ago. In the end, Tajiri scored the win by spitting green mist into Hayashi's face, then connecting with a buzzsaw kick. After the match, the two Japs shook hands. Your Winner: Yoshihiro Tajiri SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH TED The cameras show Ted Turner walking backstage, heading to his limousine in the parking lot. He is stopped by The Artist, who is wearing his violet ring attire for he is already ready for his match tonight. TAFKAPI: "Fffffffffffff.... Hello Ted... I would like to tell you how beautiful it was of you to bring WCW back. It was soooooo goooooooood of you..." Turner: "...Well.. erm.. Thank you there. I appreciate you signing on board and hopefully we can do better this time around. It was good to meet you, son." Ted Turner turns around to open the door to his limosouine and Buff Bagwell comes out of the door, smiling wide at Ted Turner as he gets out of the back of his vehicle. Bagwell: "I'm Buff, I'm the Stuff and the girls just can't get enough.. BUFF DADDAH!" Turner: "......" Bagwell gets out of the vehicle and Ted Turner climbs inside as the car sits for a minute, Turner rubs his temples and shakes his head. Turner: "I just re-opened Pandora's Box..........." MATCH #2 [80%] Vampiro vs. Chuck Palumbo Most fans were eager to see the in-ring return of Vampiro who had been a crowd favorite before the WCW had been bought out. Vampiro comes out to his old Misfits theme "Kong at the Gates" and the crowd gives a pop. Palumbo comes out next wearing his old tights with the sun on the back and on his white tape on his wrists there are three black letters markered there. NBT are the letters but what could they be? The two have a great match against one another in which Vampiro ducks a discuss lariat and picks Palumbo up for the "Nail in the Coffin" and gets the victory. After the match, Vampiro and Palumbo shake hands showing WCW spirit. Your Winner: Vampiro MATCH #3 [76%] The Artist vs. Chris Kanyon WHO BETTA THAN KANYON!? The theme hits and Kanyon comes down looking as good as ever and trimmed up. The Artist is next with his purple entrance and walks down slowly to the "Purple Rain" instrumental. The two clash back and forth with Prince connecting with a few springboard and high flying maneuvers including a hurracanrana. Prince would jump off for his top rope DDT but Kanyon caught him in midair and then dropped him onto his face for the Flatliner! Kanyon hooks the leg and gets the pinfall! Your Winner: Chris Kanyon SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH BAGWELL Buff Bagwell is there backstage looking at the camera since there were no announcers hired yet for WCW. Bagwell: "Now that Buff Daddah is back in business, we are gonna kick off tonight with a victory courtesy of the Buff Blockbuster on that dog faced poodle Rick Steiner.. and then I'm gonna walk to Monday Nitro and prove to the entire world that I am delicious, in your girl's wishes and gonna prove that Rick is just like his Steiner family.. a bunch of b---tches!" MATCH #4 [77%] Rick Steiner vs. Buff Bagwell Rick Steiner comes out to an ovation as he crawls around the ring like a dog. Bagwell comes out with his tophat and glasses and talks to the camera and smiles, posing. He goes inside the ring and mocks Steiner by getting on all fours, but Steiner crawls across the ring and headbutts him. The two have an on and off match against one another with lots of history behind it. Steiner hits a belly to belly and puts Bagwell into a chinlock. Bagwell reverses with a stunner and takes Rick down with a swinging neckbreaker. Buff climbs the top rope, calls for it, and hits the "Buff Blockbuster!" He hooks the leg and gets the pinfall! Bagwell poses after the match but Steiner turns him around and clotheslines him out of the ring! Your Winner: Buff Bagwell SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH AWESOME Mike Awesome is standing by and immediately begins to talk as he is seen on the monitors for his promo. Awesome: "It's been a long time since I could wrestle here in the United States without any sort of restrictions on me, and god knows I've been through hell since the later part of my ECW days. People call me a sell-out for joining WCW for a higher price. Some people say I deserved everything I got here during my first stay in WCW. Some people even say I'm not the same Awesome I used to be. But, I know one thing. Mike Awesome is here and you can expect to see an Awesome Bomb or two until I get my retribution! No more fat chick thriller! No more disco man! No more back seat! I am a former ECW World Heavyweight Champion! And I'm going to prove to WCW, the people in charge and all of you all across the world that I can hold this company up by being the WCW World Heavyweight Champion! And it all starts.. tonight." MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [73%] Alex Wright vs. Hugh Morrus vs. Mike Awesome vs. Bam Bam Bigelow The main event was a fatal four way elimination match between four men with some pretty high credentials in WCW. Alex Wright and Bam Bam would fight off on one side while Awesome and Morrus battled on the other. It was a full fledged war until Bam Bam lifted Alex Wright up and hit the "Greetings from Asbury Park" and covered. 1-2-3, Alex Wright was eliminated. Bam Bam and Awesome double teamed Hugh Morrus for a bit, but Morrus came back and clotheslined the former ECW alumni down together. Morrus climbed the top rope for his "No Laughing Matter" but Awesome shook the ropes. Awesome would kick Morrus off the rope to fly at ringside and then run and dive over the top ropes! Awesome lands on Morrus but Bam Bam climbs the top rope! OH HELL NO!... OH HELL YES! Bam Bam flies off the middle rope to the outside and lands on Awesome and Morrus! The crowd begins a "Holy sh*t" chant as they've never seen Bam Bam do that before! Awesome rolls Morrus into the ring and goes for the cover. 1-2.. Kickout! Bam Bam is back on the top rope, dives off and hits a headbutt on Morrus and hooks the leg. Morrus is eliminated! Awesome boots Bam Bam as he gets up and stuffs his bald, tattoo'd head! The crowd stands! It's time for an Awesome Bomb! Awesome flips the large Bam Bam up onto his shoulders and runs, throwing Bam Bam over the top rope and through a table setup on the outside! Bam Bam crunches through it and the crowd goes beserk. Awesome goes out and rolls Bam Bam back into the ring and covers him. 1-2-3, it's over! Mike Awesome wins the main event! Your Winner: Mike Awesome Overall Rating: 86.40% Fans thought it was a very good show. |

WCW SLAMBOREE 2006 Sunday, May 28th, 2006 - Cleveland Convention Center (SELL-OUT) Dark Match: 6-Man Over the Top Battle Royal [75%] Yoshihiro Tajiri is the winner, Alex Wright is the runner-up. SEGMENT: SLAMBOREE OPENING World Championship Wrestling returns to pay-per-view in only its second showing since coming back. The buyrates were expected to be turned in low, but this was one of those times that was an optional show for the wrestling fans. The advertisements had been run on the TNT, TNN and Superstation networks but this was just the case of Ted Turner wanting to "test the waters" of World Championship Wrestling on the pay-per-view circuit. The live event is shown from Cleveland, Ohio! At the table is Tony Schiavone and Mark Madden. TS: Hello everybody and welcome to WCW Slamboree! MM: Yeah hey everybody. I'm glad I got my job back here. TS: You may be glad but I am sure there's a lot of fans who hate seeing you back! MM: What are you talking about Tony? I'm the sexiest big man in the world. People love me. TS: Well, that remains to be seen as we take you now to footage taken earlier today! The footage shows the backstage area of World Championship Wrestling tonight at Slamboree earlier in the day. A group of security guards are standing in front of a locker room door with a picture of a question mark on it. MM: Oh great let me guess.. The Riddler's coming to WCW? TS: It's good to see that you haven't changed. MATCH #1 [83%] Kaz Hayashi vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri Slamboree 2006 kicks off with Kaz Hayashi facing Yoshihiro Tajiri in a rematch from the night before at WCW's Saturday Night. The two Japanese stars have some fast paced action against one another with Hayashi going up top to attempt a suicide dive. He leaps out of the ring onto Tajiri and they tumble. They eventually get back inside the ring and Tajiri reverses an irish whip. When Hayashi comes back, Tajiri spits the green mist into his face! Tajiri then delivers the buzzsaw kick into the head of Kaz Hayashi and goes for the cover to beat Hayashi once again! Your Winner: Yoshihiro Tajiri TS: Incredible way to start things off tonight here at Slamboree. You know I can't express the feeling of nostalgia I am getting just sitting here announcing this event. MM: Yeah it brings back old times like when Terry Funk wrestled for turkeys and David Arquette thought he was a wrestler, right? TS: Give it a break, Madden. I wonder how you even got hired back here in the first place. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH VAMPIRO The setting is incredibly dark and you can hardly see anything. Vampiro is crouched down in a corner and raises his head up, his painted face leering at the camera as he leans in the corner of the darkened room. Vampiro: "I hear that tonight, I am supposed to step into the ring against a man called Chris Kanyon, and it shall be for the United States Championship? He always asks the question.. Who can beat him? Who's better than Kanyon? Well, I've got the answer for you tonight, Kanyon. I shall be the one that walks through dark alleys through the dead of the night and stakes your heart. I shall be the one that creeps through your veins and delivers you into the pine box. And I shall be the one... that delivers the final nail in your coffin. For when the match is over, it will be Vampiro as the new United States Champion." MATCH #2 [68%] Hugh Morrus vs. The Artist Hugh Morrus arrives on the scene, ready to face The Artist in singles competition. The two square off with Hugh Morrus getting the upper hand due to his weight advantage. He slams Artist around the mat for almost the entire match. Artist gets a few sneaky dropkicks and leg scissors here and there but it's not enough to put the big man down. Morrus delivers a scoop slam then goes to the top rope. "No Laughing Matter" off the top rope! He hooks and leg and this one's over. Your Winner: Hugh Morrus MATCH #3 [66%] Chuck Palumbo vs. Alex Wright The next match immediately got under way as Palumbo took on Alex Wright in singles competition. The two had a fair bout with both men getting their equal shots in on one another. Wright connects a missile dropkick and goes for the cover, but a kickout at two. Palumbo tosses Wright into the ropes and connects with a back body drop to the outside. Palumbo is messing with the turnbuckle pad and the ref is telling him to stop when a figure comes from the audience and decks Alex Wright with a steel pipe! The man is wearing blue jeans and a shirt that says NBT on the front. The ref sees this and rings the bell! The man rolls a bloody Alex Wright into the ring and raises arms with Chuck Palumbo and it's finally revealed! That man is Sean O'Haire! Your Winner: Alex Wright TS: It's Sean O'Haire! It's gotta be! He's come back to help his former ally Chuck Palumbo it seems. MM: It looks like "The Perfect Event" is back together here tonight, but I haven't heard anything about O'Haire's contract getting inked here! Get that man outta here! TS: Hold your horses, Madden.. You never know what's happening here in WCW. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH KANYON Chris Kanyon is backstage with ring attire on, ready to fight Vampiro for the United States Championship. Kanyon: "I heard that freakshow earlier call me out and talk about veins and graveyards and tombstones. Well tonight none of that matters, Vampiro! This is about you and me inside that ring with the U. S. Title on the line! There's no way that I'm going to lose and there's no way in hell you are better than Kanyon!" MATCH #4 - UNITED STATES TITLE [81%] Chris Kanyon vs. Vampiro The first championship belt to be decided in WCW would take place between Vampiro and Chris Kanyon on this night. The two emerged from the back and immediately went after one another. They brawled in and out of the ring, exchanging holds and punches the entire time. Vampiro applies a leglock but Kanyon grabs the ropes. Vamp grabs onto Kanyon's hair and throws him out of the ring and walks around. He then runs to the ropes and jumps over, suicide diving onto Kanyon at ringside! Kanyon eventually throws Vampiro into the steel ring steps and then both men enter the ring before the ten count. Kanyon locks Vampiro into the Flatliner, but Vampiro elbows Kanyon in the head. He boots Kanyon in the gut and lifts him up, dropping Kanyon onto his head with the "Nail in the Coffin!" Vampiro hooks the leg and this one's over! We have a new WCW United States Champion! Your Winner & U. S. Champion: Vampiro TS: Well there you have it folks, after an action packed match we have our first WCW champion! MM: Hey can we have a rematch? I think it makes WCW look bad with a freakshow like that holding one of our belts. Let's get The Artist a shot! TS: Madden you better stay quiet otherwise he will hear you. MM: What's he gonna do? Light me on fire?........ Nevermind. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE Rick Steiner is pacing back and forth with his ring gear on, but is eventually stopped by Mike Awesome. Awesome: "Good luck tonight in your match against Buff Bagwell. I heard what he called your family. That is wrong, whether this is professional wrestling or not. I hope you teach him a lesson." Steiner: "You bet your ass I'm gonna teach him a lesson. I also heard you face Bam Bam Bigelow tonight. Good luck against him." TS: Well, I guess we can say that they are allies in the locker room. MM: Oh come on Tony, that doesn't prove anything. We all know how sneaky Rick Steiner is! MATCH #5 [76%] Buff Bagwell vs. Rick Steiner The two men were ready for their rematch from the previous night and Bagwell looked as cocky as ever. Perhaps maybe even TOO cocky as Rick Steiner looked to be in total control tonight. Steiner hits suplex after suplex on Bagwell, sending him back and forth across the ring. Bagwell leans in the corner and Steiner lifts him up, attempting a frankensteiner, but Bagwell pokes Rick in the eye and jumps off for the Buff Blockbuster, but Rick Steiner ducks down! Bagwell hits the ground and Steiner throws Bagwell into the air with a bridging german suplex! 1-2-3, it's over! Rick Steiner gets the suplex and rolls out of the ring to celebrate his victory over Bagwell! A frustrated Bagwell hangs around the ring then eventually goes to the commentary booth, stealing a microphone! Your Winner: Rick Steiner Bagwell: "That was cheap! You didn't beat me fair and square! You cheated! I'm telling you right now Steiner, this is far from over! You haven't won anything yet. You just wait until Nitro because I've got a little surprise for you from Buff Daddy!" MM: I wish I got presents around here. I would like to have--- Bagwell: "Nobody cares what you want, fat boy! You should listen to Buff, because I'm the stuff and Mark Madden, you are just a marshmellow puff!" TS: Well there you have it.. Mark Madden is officially a marshmellow puff. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE The door with the question mark is still being guarded by security with their arms crossed. Bam Bam Bigelow walks by with a smirk on his face and tries to get to the door, but security won't budge. Bigelow then gives up and heads to the stage for his match. TS: Well folks it is now time for our Slamboree main event! We hope you've enjoyed our broadcast tonight and we hope that this final match is definitely worth your money! Bam Bam Bigelow faces Mike Awesome, two old ECW alumni who know each other very well! They were the last two in the fatal four way last night at WCW's Saturday Night and tonight they go at it one on one! We'll see who the better man is tonight! MM: I'm not a marshmellow puff..... MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [75%] Mike Awesome vs. Bam Bam Bigelow It was the main event of WCW Slamboree 2006, something that neither of these men had ever been given in their previous run with World Championship Wrestling. Awesome comes out to a chorus of chants including "ECW!" and "AWE-SOME!" as the crowd favorite. Bigelow comes out to barely a reaction but doesn't care. The two lock horns and it's a huge battle. They won't back down as both prove that they are worthy of this main event spot at the pay-per-view. Awesome rushes Bigelow and both men flip outside of the ring to the outside. Bigelow tosses Awesome into the guardrail and leads him to the stage. Bigelow lifts Awesome up for his finisher, but Awesome drops down and DDT's Bigelow's head on the stage! Both men are laid out as time out runs. Awesome eventually stands and rolls in and out of the ring. He pulls a table out from under the apron and sets it up eventhough it's illegal in this match. Bigelow is up and axe handles Awesome's head from behind. They enter the ring again. Bigelow blocks a clothesline and headbutts Awesome. The two are now climbing the corner and are on the middle ring rope. They exchange fists, but Awesome picks Bigelow up and spinebusters him from the middle rope! Awesome hooks the leg, but only a two count. The two are laid out but get to their feet at the eight count. Awesome hooks Bigelow up for the Awesome Bomb and turns to the table at ringside. Bigelow squirms and gets away and when Awesome turns around, Bigelow lifts him up and drops Awesome with the "Greetings From Asbury Park!" Awesome is down! Bigelow goes for the cover.. 1-2-3! It's over and Bigelow picks up the win. Your Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow Bigelow rolls Awesome out of the ring and lays him on the table to finish him off. Bigelow climbs the rope but the big screen shows the locker room door with the question mark on it... hanging wide open! Then from the backstage comes Billy Kidman! He slides into the ring and knocks Bigelow off the top to fall to the outside. Awesome falls off the table as Kidman sets Bigelow up and rolls his large body on the table! Kidman climbs to the top rope and leaps off with the shooting star press.. he connects! The crowd goes beserk as Kidman, Bigelow and Awesome's bodies lay at ringside amidst table shards and pieces! TS: OH MY GOD! BILLY KIDMAN IS BACK! KIDMAN IS BACK IN WCW! MM: Wow! He just launched off that top rope and landed on Bigelow big time! TS: That's all for us tonight!! We'll see you tomorrow night for Monday Nitro! Have a great night! Overall Rating: 79.89% Fans thought it was an enjoyable show. |

MONDAY NITRO Monday, May 29th, 2006 - SportsFest (9,512) TS: Hello everyone and welcome to our first broadcast of WCW Monday Nitro here on TNT! MM: Yeah, as you know we are going up against Monday RAW over on USA Network. I wonder what they are doing right now? TS: Let's just not even mention them, Madden. We have our own business to attend to here! MM: Yeah.. okay. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH DISCO INFERNO Disco Inferno is shown on screen snapping his fingers and wearing a cowboy hat and a felt, velvet jacket. He does a few dance moves as Scott Hudson holds the microphone. Disco: "I'm back like disco, baby! And tonight, I'm having to fight my old stablemate Billy Kidman. You know, I used to be in the Filthy Animals and I have nothing but respect for Kidman, especially after what he did at Slamboree, but tonight is a different story. The Disco Inferno is back in action and we're---" Kidman grabs onto Disco's shoulder and walks onto the camera screen, wearing his old white wifebeater and black jeans. Kidman: "Last night at Slaboree was only a sample of what you'll see here! Now that the bigheads are gone.. You know the ones, the ones that always held us down! It's time for me to make a name for myself. I've been held down my entire life, but not anymore! And starting tonight, I show the whole world what Billy Kidman is made of! Let's go, Disco." MATCH #1 [77%] Sean O'Haire vs. Alex Wright After suffering a loss to Chuck Palumbo last night at Slamboree, a bandaged Alex Wright was ready to take on WCW's newest signing in Sean O'Haire. The two had a back and forth brawl, with O'Haire nailing a few right hands and re-opening the wound in Wright's forehead a little bit. Palumbo would come down in the middle of the match and toss that same steel pipe into the ring, but the ref would grab it. Alex Wright decked Palumbo off the apron then ducked O'Haire's bulldog attempt and lock him into a german suplex. He bridges it! 1-2-3, "Das Wunderkind" picks up the victory tonight despite the odds! His german trance music plays and he does the elbow dance! CHA CHA CHA! CHA CHA CHA! But then O'Haire nails him from behind with the pipe! Palumbo and O'Haire do a number on Wright and leave him lying on the ring as they pose. Your Winner: "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright TS: Alex Wright gets the proverbial win tonight, but won't be walking home on his own feet MM: I'd say he would be dancing home, but he won't be doing that either. TS: Well, let's send you to the ring for our next bout. MATCH #2 [83%] Kaz Hayashi vs. Yoshihiro Tajiri In the third match between the two Japanese stars, Tajiri and Hayashi performed live on Monday Nitro! They had yet another high speed, fast-paced match which many claimed to be the match of the night, as they had done the previous two times. Hayashi jumps onto the middle rope and leaps into the air and turns for a springboard DDT. Tajiri spits out the green mist, but Hayashi has flipped out of the way, landing on his feet! Tajiri turns around and Hayashi nails the "Japanese Buzzsaw" with his own kick across the head! Hayashi with the cover and the 1-2-3! He finally picks up a victory over the veteran Tajiri. Your Winner: Kaz Hayashi TS: Well there you have it. It seems Kaz Hayashi finally pulls a victory out over his protege from Japan; Yoshihiro Tajiri. Those two always seem to have an incredible match against one another. MM: Yeah you ain't kidding, Tony. I wonder if they practice kung fu together? TS: Oh would you stop it?! SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE Rick Steiner is on a cellphone in his locker room, talking to someone. Steiner: "Yeah, I know. I know. I know that you can't come here. Don't worry, I taught him a lesson in respect to the Steiner family. Leave it to me, brother. I can deal with Bagwell.. You just worry about trying to get here as soon as possible. I have a feeling WCW is about to explode with returns and I need some backup here." TS: Could that be? The brother of Rick Steiner on the other end of that cellphone conversation!? MM: Who knows Tony.. It could be Rick's younger brother Jimmy for all we know! MATCH #3 [78%] Disco Inferno vs. Billy Kidman The Disco Inferno comes out first dancing and playing around as the crowd has obviously missed seeing him around. Kidman comes out next to a strong ovation after what he did to Bigelow last night at Slamboree. Disco and Kidman shake hands before the match with Disco looking a little uneasy due to the fact that he hasn't wrestled in such a long time. They have a fast paced match with each other as Kidman is hip tossed but lands his legs on the top rope and springboards to land on his feet throwing Disco in the air. Kidman connects a missile dropkick and executes a powerbomb into a face crusher onto Disco! Kidman climbs the top rope and leaps off with the shooting star press! 1-2-3, this one's over! Your Winner: Billy Kidman Kidman helps Disco to his feet but Bam Bam Bigelow storms into the ring and takes Kidman out, then Disco with a "Greetings From Asbury Park." Bigelow lays both men out and takes a microphone. Bigelow: "This little snot nosed punk thinks he can just walk into the main event spot here at World Championship Wrestling? He knows nothing about the main event! And I was told backstage earlier tonight that some of the big boys are coming back to play. That's what they used to say isn't it? This is where the big boys play, so you better get used to facing people like Disco Inferno, because you ain't gettin' nowhere in the main event, Kidman!" TS: Tough words for Kidman there.. That's got to be an arrow through the heart. MM: You mean he heard that the big boys are coming? What does he mean by that? TS: I believe he means the men who used to reign at the top of WCW. They are coming back. MM: Oh brother, I knew it wasn't smart. David Arquette is coming back for sure. MATCH #4 [74%] Mike Awesome & Rick Steiner vs. Buff Bagwell & Bam Bam Bigelow The last match before the main event featured two rivalries for the price of one. Bam Bam and Awesome would start it off with both of the big men connecting with big shots. Steiner would get tagged in and the crowd begin to chant "Big Poppa Pump!" over and over as he wrestled. Bagwell would low blow Steiner and put him into his corner as he and Bigelow began to decimate Steiner. They kept him contained, unable to let Rick get a tag in the match as Awesome was building a fire. Bagwell hits a snap suplex and tags Bigelow. Bigelow comes off the top rope with a flying headbutt but Steiner rolls out of the way! Bagwell comes in to illegally drag Steiner back to their corner and the crowd boos. Bigelow puts Steiner up for the "Greetings From Asbury Park" but Steiner slides down Bigelow's back to his feet and delivers a german suplex to the big man, Bam Bam's head slamming into the corner! Rick crawls across the ring and before he can tag, Bagwell elbow drops him. The referee's back is turned to Mike Awesome, so this lets Billy Kidman and Disco Inferno run out! They see Bam Bam has got a chair from ringside, but they steal it away. Kidman blasts Bigelow over the head with it and the "Beast From the East" is laid out! Kidman and Disco stand at ringside as Bagwell is escorted to the apron. Steiner finally tags Awesome and Bagwell comes in again, but Steiner runs and they both tumble out of the ring together! Awesome lifts Bigelow up for the Awesome Bomb, but Bigelow headbutts Awesome in the face and lifts him up to connect for his finisher. Mike Awesome is dropped and Bam Bam goes for the cover with their partners currently busy at ringside. 1-2-3.. Bam Bam Bigelow picks up the win despite the chair shot from Kidman. Disco and Kidman hit the ring to stomp on Bigelow but the big man chokeslams Kidman and throws Disco out of the ring! Your Winners: Bam Bam Bigelow & Buff Bagwell TS: My god.. What can stop the "Beast From the East?" Nobody can stop him! MM: Well he is a beast, Tony. What do you expect. He's large and menacing. TS: Well, it is now time for our main event which will feature Vampiro defending his United States Title against two men! Hugh Morrus and Chris Kanyon! MM: This should be a good one, Tony. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH KANYON Kanyon: "I was unable to win the match last night at Slamboree, but you have no idea how close I was to becoming the United States Champion. All it took was for some creepy little bastard named Vampiro to come in from behind and hit me with his finishing move, that's all. Tonight I get another shot at the belt in this three way dance. I will walk out with the United States Championship so mark my words. Vampiro isn't betta than Kanyon. Hugh Morrus isn't betta than Kanyon. Nobody is betta than Kanyon." MATCH #5 - UNITED STATES TITLE [74%] Vampiro © vs. Hugh Morrus vs. Chris Kanyon The final match of Monday Nitro came in the form of Vampiro defending his title against not one, but two men. Morrus and Kanyon double teamed on the champ for a while until Kanyon went for a cover. Morrus yanked him off and the two started fighting each other. Vampiro came off the top rope with a double missile dropkick onto both challengers and dove out of the ring onto Hugh Morrus. Kanyon rolls Vampiro back in the ring and covers but only a two count. Kanyon hits a death valley driver onto Vampiro and another cover, but Morrus breaks it up. Morrus with a snapmare onto Vampiro then irish whips Kanyon into the sitting Vampiro so he can dropkick the U. S. Champion. Kanyon turns around and pokes Morrus in the eye and drops him with the Flatliner out of nowhere! Kanyon with the pin, but Vampiro breaks it up. Vampiro irish whips Kanyon across the ring and Kanyon comes back with a crossbody, but Vampiro ducks and he nails Hugh Morrus who just got up. Morrus tumbles out of the ring. Vampiro lifts Kanyon up and hits the "Nail in the Coffin!" He hooks the leg.. 1-2-3! Vampiro retains his United States Championship! Your Winner & U. S. Champion: Vampiro TS: What a great match! Well that's all for us tonight. Hopefully next week we can figure out what Bigelow means by some top people returning back. It seems so clean here for the meantime, although we still have no World Heavyweight Champion! Hopefully next week here on Nitro we can decide who becomes the champion! MM: Or you could just give the belt to me. I'm World Championship material. TS: I think we are getting away from that sort of material, Madden. In fact I think David Arquette could beat you. MM: HEY THAT'S A---- TS: We'll see you next week for Monday Nitro, folks! Overall Rating: 85.76% Fans thought it was a very good show. Vampiro has pulled a hamstring and will be out of action for a month. |

WCW SATURDAY NIGHT Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 - Erie Civic Center (SELL-OUT) SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH TANK ABBOTT Tank Abbott is backstage wearing black shorts and boots and nothing else, showing off his barreled and hairy chest. We haven't seen Tank Abbott in ages! Abbott: "Well let me start off by saying I am proud to have been contacted by WCW to come back and work here. Everybody should know by now that I was once considered to be a World Champion during the dark ages of WCW, and I don't even care if I am held in that same regard. All I care about is having my job back and tonight---" David Taylor walks on screen with a United Kingdom flag over one shoulder. He looks disgusted at Tank Abbott with a William Regal-like face. Taylor: "Look at you. You clearly are the rubbish that I've always called the general cesspool of American public. You're overly slouching pot belly, you look like you came from the bloody street. You clearly have no respect for what this business has given to you, you wretched pig!" Abbott: "I guess since I look so bad, it won't be bad that bad to face me tonight inside that ring then, blue blood." Tank Abbott flinches his head at Dave Taylor like he is going to attack but stops and David Taylor jumps, almost dropping his flag. Taylor: "Pathetic scoundrel... He shall pay dearly for that." MATCH #1 [75%] Palumbo & O'Haire vs. Alex Wright To kick off WCW Saturday Night, one week of WCW's inception back on television programming, the team of O'Haire and Palumbo would team up to face Alex Wright in a handicap match. Nobody knows who booked this match, but Alex Wright looked peeved about it when he came out. O'Haire and Palumbo kept tags in and out of the ring as they wore down an already exhausted Alex Wright. Nobody came out to help "Das Wunderkind" as he was literally slaughtered by the duo. Palumbo tossed Wright into the ropes and threw his leg up for a superkick and went for the cover to win this handicap match. Your Winners: Chuck Palumbo & Sean O'Haire MATCH #2 [76%] David Taylor vs. Tank Abbott The second match immediately got under way as Tank Abbott came out waving to the crowd. David Taylor was next, with his UK flag and Great Britian anthem playing. He set his flag on the ring post and stepped in. Taylor got some amateur holds on Tank like a couple snapmares and a few arm drags. Taylor went to grab Tank and throw him out of the ring, but Tank swings like a missile! It crushes the side of David Taylor's head and he collapses! The referee checks Taylor's hand. It drops once, twice, three times.. Taylor is knocked cold! Your Winner: Tank Abbott SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH KIDMAN & DISCO Billy Kidman is backstage with the Disco Inferno as they stand in front of the camera. Kidman: "You know this week on Monday Nitro we had ourselves a pretty good match. It was a pretty good night until that rotten son of a b**ch Bam Bam Bigelow came out and had to ruin it. Who died and made him Kevin Nash of this company? Like I said before, we aren't going to be held down any longer! The has-beens are gone and now it's time for WCW to recognize the new talent!" Disco: "You have to help me out tonight, Kidman. I have a match against The Artist and I can't lose it. You'll be there at ringside for me won't you? Kidman: "Yeah, I suppose I better come out there and make sure that giant blueberry Bigelow doesn't interfere." MATCH #3 [81%] The Messiah vs. Crowbar Crowbar made his return to WCW wearing blue torn up jeans and holding a crowbar. He was shirtless but still had long black hair. The Messiah was next making his WCW debut but looked rather good. The crowd cheered for both hardcore masters and chanted for tables eventhough this was a regular sanctioned match. The two had a good match against one another, with Crowbar diving out of the ring on numerous ocasions onto Messiah. Messiah slams Crowbar's head on the steps and rolls him back into the ring. Messiah lifts Crowbar up for the Godsmack but Crowbar elbows Messiah in the stomach and rolls him up into a small package pinfall for the win! After the match Crowbar leaves the ring as Messiah doesn't look too happy! Your Winner: Crowbar SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH ALEX WRIGHT "Das Wunderkind" is backstage holding ice on the back of his head and wearing his leather jacket. Wright: "Zis iz not fair! I try my hardest to beat Palombo and O'Here and zey use number game on me! Alex Wright? I don't zink so! I dare them to---" Palumbo and O'Haire come from behind Alex Wright and double grab him, throwing him into a pile of steel chairs backstage. The chairs fly all over the ground as Alex Wright rolls all around on them and lays there. Palumbo: "Well, that was a job well done. We have destroyed one target here in WCW, who's going to be next? You see, me and O'Haire are taking over and we are doing it NBT style. You are either with us, or against us!" O'Haire: "That's right, because me and Palumbo are going to show everybody in World Championship Wrestling what it was like before it got bought out. We were on top of this company! WE WERE. And now it's time to do it all over again and we are going to attack star after star until we get our recognition around here!" MATCH #4 [71%] The Artist vs. Disco Inferno Disco came out with Billy Kidman ready to start this match and then The Artist comes out to his violet colors and "Purple Rain" instrumental. The two finally begin the match and it's back and forth. Artist dives off the middle rope with an elbow but Disco moves. Disco delivers a swinging neckbreaker and picks up both Artist's legs and elbow drops him in the groin. Kidman spreads his arms like wondering why Disco would cheat like that? Disco picks Artist up and puts his head in his armpit and goes for a vertical suplex, but Artist lands on his feet behind Disco and rolls him up and grabs onto his tights and holds the bottom rope. Kidman kicks the rope making Artist let go and it's only a two count. Artist argues with Kidman as the referee tells them to stop and here comes Bam Bam Bigelow from the crowd. He climbs over and climbs into the ring with a steel chair and cracks it over Disco's head! Bam Bam goes back into the audience and The Artist climbs to the top rope and delivers a moonsault onto Disco for the pinfall. 1-2-3, this one's over courtesy of Bam Bam Bigelow. Your Winner: The Artist SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH KANYON Chris Kanyon is backstage nodding his head and raising his glasses up over his eyes as he gets ready to begin talking to the camera. Kanyon: "Yo listen up. I hear that on Monday night Vampiro got injured so that puts the United States Champion out of action. What happens to the title? Who am I supposed to talk to about what goes on around here? I haven't even been informed of that yet. I do know one thing, though. I'm facing Hugh Morrus tonight and the two challengers of that match are gonna fight. If WCW management decides to put that belt on the winner, so be it. Me and Hugh Morrus have already agreed we are gonna wrestle tonight. The only thing he doesn't know is he ain't betta than Kanyon. Hahahah!" MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [70%] Chris Kanyon vs. Hugh Morrus The final match of WCW Saturday Night came on the air and the two men who had faced each other on Nitro were now in singles competition. Morrus used his weight advantage to get one over on Kanyon for almost the whole match when he locked in a chinlock the crowd cheered for Kanyon to get up. He elbowed Morrus in the stomach and got up, but Morrus dropped him with a short-arm clothesline. Morrus then climbs to the top rope but Kanyon climbs up with him! Morrus threw his head back and headbutted Kanyon off the rope and jumped off with the "No Laughing Matter!" Kanyon is squished! Morrus picks up the 1-2-3 victory tonight and stands up as his music is played, his hands out expecting the United States Title, but the title and nobody is there to give it to him. Morrus looks p*ssed and heads backstage, screaming at the camera: "That title should be mine!" Your Winner: Hugh Morrus Overall Rating: 83.68% Fans thought it was a good show. |

Steiner: "So did you tell them to let you free? Yeah.. What did they say?... Are you kidding? Man, wrestling these days. Alright well keep trying, man. I'll fend this off as best as I can. I gotta match against that chump Bagwell right now. Wish me luck." MM: He's talking to Johnny again. Johnny Steiner, the youngest Steiner Brother. TS: Give me a break, Madden. We all know who he is really talking to! MM: ....Yeah.. Johnny. MATCH #3 [76%] Rick Steiner vs. Buff Bagwell The two come out ready for this next contest in their rivalry. They lock up but Bagwell knees Steiner in the gut. Bagwell hiptosses Steiner and then goes for a quick cover but not even a one count. Steiner comes back with a bulldog and puts Bagwell into a sleeper. Bagwell raises Steiner up and slams him down with a back drop. Bagwell moves to the corner but Steiner stands! Steiner locks his arms around Bagwell from behind in what looks like his german suplex, but Bagwell raises a leg and low blows Steiner! Bagwell turns on the top rope and jumps off, hitting the Buff Blockbuster! Down goes both men and Bagwell makes the cover. 1-2-3, Bagwell gets the pinfall tonight as the crowd boos. Bagwell leaves the ring with a smile on his face. Your Winner: Buff Bagwell SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE Yoshihiro Tajiri is backstage talking to Kaz Hayashi in Japanese as Alex Wright walks up to them. Wright: Vat do you two say of being my tag team partners tonight in zis next matchup, ja? Tajiri: <Insert very fast Japanese talking here> Wright: Vell I take zat as a yes. Let us go now my Japanese friends Tajiri, Hayashi and Wright all head to the curtains. MM: Well isn't that nice. Germany and Japan are allies once again. Only in WCW. TS: Oh cut it out, Madden. Stasiak high fives with Palumbo & O'Haire and the reunited team gets ready. It's a six man tag action as all six men get their spots in. The NBT are stronger and muscle the other three around but Tajiri kicks Palumbo in the head knocking him out of the ring! O'Haire comes in but Tajiri spits his mist in his face! Stasiak is next and he connects with a full nelson slam which makes Kaz Hayashi jump out of the ring to suicide dive onto O'Haire and Palumbo. Disco: I just bet him that I could figure out who the main eventer is. That's all, I swear! Kidman: Well? Who is it? Disco: ...Well I lost the bet. I said that it was Sting. Kidman: So what happened if you guessed wrong? Disco: Uh.... Well you and a partner have to face Bam Bam Bigelow and the returning main eventer next week in a steel cage. Kidman: What??! And I have to partner with you? Can this get any worse?! Disco: Uh yeah one more thing. Kidman: What now? Disco: You have to face Bigelow right now. Kidman: Arrghhhhhhh! MM: Yeah and don't forget about Rick Steiner talking on the cellphone to his brother Johnny. TS: ....You are already starting that? SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH KIDMAN, DISCO & AWESOME Disco Inferno looks uneasy standing between Mike Awesome and Kidman as he's looking around to make sure nobody is going to interrupt them or try to start a fight. Kidman: "We've got this match coming up later against DDP and Bigelow, the two biggest thorns in our sides in WCW. Hell, I could have been a champion by now if it wasn't for that overgrown blueberry Bigelow ruining my plans." Awesome: "Don't worry about it Kidman.. They may think they can beat us inside that steel cage, but between your high flying skills and my hardcore background, we know who is going to win this match." Disco: "Can't we just call it off? I mean.... I mean... Come on guys, you don't have to do this!" Kidman: "What's wrong with you Disco? You've been acting weird all day long." Disco: "Well it would be bad for ratings if one of you got hurt, you know?" Awesome: "That's the dumbest excuse I ever heard.. He probably bet money on this match or something" Disco: "WHAT? I would never do that! Give me a break, guys. I just don't want you getting hurt is all." Kidman: "Well I can tell you one thing, I'm not backing out. DDP and Bigelow? They went too far last week." MATCH #1 [74%] Dave Taylor & Burchill vs. Tank Abbott To kick off Monday Nitro, the Blue Bloods come out together to face off against Abbott in a handicap match. Tank holds his own for most of the match but then the Blue Bloods start to take him down using the numbers game. Tank fires back in the very end, laying Burchill out with a solid right hand and throwing Dave Taylor out of the ring. Then out of nowhere comes "The Bulldog" Harry Smith! Smith waits for Tank to turn around before blasting him over the head with the Union Jack! Tank goes down while Taylor has the referee distracted then goes for the cover, getting the 1-2-3! Dave Taylor and Harry Smith help Burchill up to his feet and the three Englanders pose above the laid out body of Tank Abbott who even in his unconscienceness looks pissed off! Your Winners: The Blue Bloods TS: THE BULLDOG HAS ARRIVED! MM: Strange, he looks vaguely like the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith a bit. TS: That's because he is his son! Hayashi goes down and is blinded but then Tajiri nails him with the buzzsaw kick and gets the cover for the win. Afterwards, Tajiri helps Hayashi backstage who is still temporarily blinded from the mist. Your Winner: Yoshihiro Tajiri MM: Yanno, I know they are friendly Japanese guys and all that, but how can Hayashi still be friends with Tajiri after he keeps spitting in his face? In America, that would never happen. TS: It's called honor, Madden.. I suppose those two have honor and respect one another enough to do that, which is another great reason why we have them here at WCW. BACKSTAGE WITH RICK STEINER Steiner is backstage sitting in his locker room with the cellphone on speaker. Steiner: ".........Yeah I know, bro. I know, well just keep trying like I said. Sooner or later they will get your contract off and you can come here and we can change the face of WCW like we did before.... Oh wait hold on, I have another call." Steiner pushes the button and the caller on the other end begins to talk. Bagwell: "Hi Ricky.. Keep trying to get your brother back in WCW because it's not gonna work! And even if you do get Scotty in this company, it won't matter. Because I'm Buff, I'm the Stuff and---- I'm right behind you!" Steiner: "Wha?" Bagwell runs behind Steiner in his locker room and blasts him over the head with a steel chair. Bagwell stomps on Steiner while he is down as security and referees come in to break up the fight. Bagwell screams at Steiner and laughs at him as he's escorted out of the locker room. MM: Holy crap! That was awesome TS: Well you know this rivalry is only getting worse and worse. WCW might as well just slap them inside a steel cage and let them go at it with no rules at all. MATCH #3 [64%] David Flair vs. Crowbar The two insane crazies come out, but not as far as the stage. Flair is coming out but Crowbar comes behind him and knocks him down. The two battle on the stage for quite some time as they trade fists, but Crowbar comes out on top. He leads Flair to the stage setup on Nitro and they fight there with Flair reeling backwards to the edge of the stage! The crowd stands up and begins to cheer as Crowbar steps back and then runs full speed at Flair and spears him off the side of the stage! Both men fly off the stage and land on the concrete below and the crowd starts the "Holy sh*t!" chants. Crowbar gets back up and rolls Flair onto a table and then crawls back onto the stage again and then turns, doing a moonsault off the stage and landing on Flair, crushing him through the table for the win! Afterwards, Crowbar pets Flair's head and helps him backstage as if nothing had happened at all. Your Winner: Crowbar MM: Now that match was more my style! I love the sound of someone getting crunched through a table.. It gets me every time! TS: Those are human bodies you are talking about, Madden! You can be so cruel sometimes.. We need to get some medical help out here... That is Ric Flair's son after all! That kid can't continue to wrestle in these hardcore type matches or he won't ever "be the man!" MM: Good luck trying to talk sense into him.. The man is completely nuts BACKSTAGE WITH THE NBT Chuck Palumbo, Sean O'Haire and Sean Stasiak are all three backstage with smirks on their faces. O'Haire: "Did you know we have beaten Alex Wright every time we have faced him? Palumbo: "...No, he beat me on May 29th, but does that really count? I mean.. It's Alex Wright we are talking about here." Stasiak: "Who cares? We destroyed him last week, so how can he really ever beat us again?" O'Haire: "You know that's a good point. I guess tonight when you face him, you'll have to make sure you end him permanently so we won't have to worry about him ever again." Stasiak: "Leave it to me to take him down. Don't worry about it, guys.. I got this German fruitcake." TS: An aura of confidence radiation from the Natural Born Thrillaz locker room there. MM: Well they have a point. They've pretty much made Alex Wright look like a complete loser MATCH #4 [77%] Alex Wright vs. Sean Stasiak Wright comes out looking determined to win this fight against the member of the NBT, as O'Haire and Palumbo cannot come to ringside during the match at all. Wright and Stasiak tie up and do battle, with Wright getting a few shots in to make it look as if it's not a complete one sided match. Stasiak then uses his power to muscle Wright around with a few hip tosses and a big boot. Wright climbs up onto Stasiak's back for a crucifyx pin but there's a kickout at two. Stasiak lifts Wright up for the powerslam but Wright slips down behind him and locks him into the waistlock from behind. Lift, and German Suplex! Wright bridges it and gets the 1-2-3 out of nowhere! "Das Wunderkind" exits the ring and does his elbow dance on the stage to a cheering audience! CHA CHA CHA CHA! But then O'Haire and Palumbo come down and they beat Alex Wright down on the stage. Security and referees come down and split it up. Your Winner: Alex Wright MM: Did he just beat Sean Stasiak, or am I seeing things? TS: Well he just beat Stasiak in his own way... It really happened and you know the NBT are furious! MM: So I guess Alex Wright isn't a deadbeat afterall. Maybe he can get some things done around here..... as soon as he wakes back up. TS: Well folks, it's now time to determine the man who gets the first shot at Vampiro's United States Title! MM: Wait so if Alex Wright just had a match, what happens here? TS: Well, I'm being told that he will be replaced, so that solves it. MM: What did they expect... Alex Wright to wrestle two matches tonight?.... Yeah right. HAHAHA! TS: Show some respect, Madden.. For Christ's sake... MATCH #5 [77%] Hugh Morrus vs. Chris Kanyon vs. Alex Shelley vs. Sonny Siaki The four men with the opportunity to challenge Vampiro all come out, with Sonny Siaki taking Alex Wright's original place. It's a match for all the marbles, as one of these men could come out a supreme winner for a title shot chance in their careers in WCW. Kanyon and Siaki brawl outside the ring with Siaki getting slammed into the steel steps. Morrus and Shelley are in the ring and Shelley keeps reversing Morrus' big man moves and knees him in the head. Morrus would eventually take Shelley down with a discuss lariat and climb to the ropes for his "No Laughing Matter" but Shelley kicks the ropes! Morrus straddles the rope as Shelley runs up those ropes and quickly suplexes Morrus off! Shelley then hits the "Shellshock" onto Morrus, eliminating him. Siaki and Kanyon enter back in the ring again as a frustrated Morrus delivers a pump kick to Shelley, kicking him out of the ring. Kanyon goes for the "Flatliner" on Siaki but Siaki ducks out of it and drops Kanyon with a swinging neckbreaker. Siaki sets Kanyon up for the "Siakilypse" but Kanyon is next to reverse and lifts Siaki by his trunks and drops him.. Flatliner! Shelley comes back in the ring and takes advantage of Kanyon as the final two are left. Kanyon is beaten and battered for a time but comes back with an irish whip into the ropes. Shelley comes back and tries for a spinning wheel kick but Kanyon ducks and waits for Shelley to turn around. BINK! Flatliner on Shelley and he's down! Kanyon wins the match and is the official #1 Contender to Vampiro's United States Title! Your Winner: Chris Kanyon TS: Chris Kanyon survives and is now the first person in line for the U. S. Title shot when Vampiro is set to return from his injury! MM: I was routing for Shelley, he's quite the obnoxious star and the girls like him. He reminds me of a younger me. TS: Get over yourself, Madden.. At any rate, it's now time for our main event.. a steel cage!! BACKSTAGE WITH DDP Page is backstage with Bigelow at his side and grabs the microphone and shoves the interviewer away. DDP: "Do you know why I came back? It's because I tuned into Monday Nitro and I saw who was in the main event. Billy Kidman?! Nobody cares about you, Kidman. You couldn't hack it and your wife has more skills than you, apparently. At least with Diamond Dallas Page, you've got a main event you'll never forget, monkey boy. I'm here to get rid of these little snot nosed punks who think that since this is a new promotion, they will just take advantage of the holes and decide to be main stars. Well, it ain't happenin'.. And tonight, I'm gonna take you and that has been Mike Awesome down here.. Down to the land of the diamondcutter, like this.... BADABING.. BADABOOM....... BADA BANG!! Let's go kick some ass, Bam" TS: Well you heard it! Page is fired up and ready for our main event! Let's get this thing under way! MATCH #6 - MAIN EVENT [78%] DDP & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Billy Kidman & Mike Awesome The steel cage lowers and Kidman walks out with Mike Awesome and the unlikely pair stand inside the cage with Disco Inferno at ringside. Then here comes Bigelow and Page and when all four are inside, the cage door is locked shut! They immediately do battle with Awesome going after Page and Kidman going after Bigelow. Bigelow slaughters Kidman using his weight advantage for most of the match while Page and Awesome go back and forth in an epic battle. Bigelow actually lifts Kidman up and powerbombs his back against the cage wall and Kidman crumbles in between the wall and the ring ropes like a ragdoll. Page is climbing the cage but Awesome knocks him off and Page lands on the top rope on his nuts! Disco is pacing around the cage cheering for Kidman as Kidman starts to come back at Bigelow and dropkick him a few times. Kidman runs at Bigelow for another high speed move but Bigelow grabs Kidman's wifebeater and throws his head into the cage wall, busting him open! Awesome sets Page up for a suplex but Page lands on his feet and spins Awesome around.. DIAMONDCUTTER! Awesome is laid out as Page begins to climb up the cage to escape. Disco climbs up the other side and the two exchange fists at the very top. Bigelow is punching on Kidman's head as Page pokes Disco in the eye and grabs onto him, pulling Disco inside the cage! Disco hangs on about halfway then loses his grip and falls down into the ring, splatting! Page climbs over the cage and jumps down, landing on his feet. Kidman is a bloody mess, Disco is laid out from the fall and Awesome is trying to wake up from the diamondcutter which lets Bigelow climb the cage as well. Bigelow is halfway up but Kidman grabs onto his foot! Awesome gets up and helps, yanking Bigelow back into the ring and he falls down. Kidman and Disco head for the door, but Page walks around and holds the door so it won't open. Awesome lifts Bigelow up and throws him down for the Awesome Bomb! Kidman climbs up the cage as Disco hustles with Page at the cage door and both Awesome and Kidman climb over and escape the cage! Page looks p*ssed as he sees he lost and then leaves the ring area and heads up the stage, throwing his arms at the ring. Page goes backstage after shoving a camera man down as Kidman and Awesome pose on the stage!... Your Winners: Billy Kidman & Mike Awesome But then a form comes from backstage with a black hood on. He sticks a cattle prod in to the back of Awesome and he falls, then nails Disco with the prod and knocks him down. Kidman is bloody and tired and has no fight in him so the hooded man stuffs him up, lifts and tosses him with.... the Outsider's Edge on the stage?! The hooded man takes the mask off and it's Scott Hall!! Hall pulls a microphone out of his pants and looks around at the stunned crowd. Hall: "............ Hey yo............ I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAcck!" TS: OH MY GOD! HALL IS BACK! HALL IS BACK IN WCW! MM: Woooo! This is great! Hall is back and now this is going to be fun now! TS: Shaddup Madden, Hall just cheap shotted Kidman and Awesome.. He's back but he's still the same old troublemaker he was! Was this a plan of Page and Bigelow?! I bet you DDP and Bigelow had something to do with this! I bet you! MM: Calm down Tony, your talking all conspiracies and whatnot. Just calm down..... WOO HALL IS BACK! TS: I'm speechless.... See you next week........... Overall Rating: 84.40% Fans thought it was a good show. Nitro scored a 3.2 rating - RAW scored a 2.66 rating |

WCW SATURDAY NIGHT Saturday, June 17th, 2006 - Everglades Arena (SELL-OUT) MATCH #1 [81%] Sean O'Haire vs. CW Anderson The opening match of WCW Saturday Night started with the Natural Born Thrillaz surrounding the ring to watch O'Haire take on CW Anderson. Anderson knew his chances were not good to win this match with all of the NBT at ringside so he did his best to keep his eyes all over, but it proved fruitless while having a match against Sean O'Haire. As Stasiak distracted the referee, Palumbo would toss a steel chair into the ring. O'Haire picked it up and was ready to use it, but Anderson kicked O'Haire in the stomach and took it away! He then turned and nailed the chair into the ribs of Palumbo, knocking him out of the ring and dropped the chair. Anderson turns around only to get nailed by O'Haire and dropped. O'Haire pins Anderson and gets the 1-2-3 victory. Your Winner: Sean O'Haire MATCH #2 [74%] Harry Smith vs. Disco Inferno The Disco Inferno comes out to face "The Bulldog" Harry Smith in singles action and the two have a solid back and forth battle with each other. The other two members of the Blue Bloods did not come out, leaving the match as a one versus one in Smith's first official WCW match. Disco connects with a Russian leg sweep then lifts Smith up, connecting the "Chartbuster" onto him for the victory and the win! Disco celebrates his desperately needed win by disco dancing in the ring for the crowd. Smith grabs onto the Union Jack he brought to the ring and cracks the flagpole across Disco's back in anger! The Bulldog leaves the ring to a chorus of boos. Your Winner: Disco Inferno SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH MOORE PETERS Nathan Moore and Tad Peters are backstage, the two newest signees out of the WCW Power Plant. They are standing together for the interview. Peters: "Hey WCW! Meet the newest team, the newest powerhouse to enter this promotion! We understand that there may be more experienced teams on this roster and probably soon to come, but we are here to stay! You just tell all the rest of those other jackasses to step into the ring with us, and we will show them what tag team wrestling is all about!" Moore: "Yeah, you heard what Tad said.. We are about to become the evolution of tag team wrestling starting tonight. You wanna take us on, meet us in the ring and we won't back down from nobody. Bring your game and we'll beat you down." MATCH #3 [73%] Sonny Siaki vs. The Artist Siaki and The Artist make their way down to the ring and have an exceptional match with each other. Siaki gains the momentum point of the match until Artist delivers a low blow onto him and turns the tides. Artist dominates Siaki for some of the match but Siaki comes back with a quickly executed snap suplex from a reversal. Siaki tries to connect a clothesline but Artist ducks and sends a dropkick into his face when he turns. The Artist climbs onto the ropes and waits before leaping off and locking onto Siaki's head, taking him down with the DDT off the middle ring rope! The Artist goes for the cover and scores the victory over Siaki 1-2-3! Your Winner: The Artist MATCH #4 [68%] Dave Taylor vs. Hugh Morrus The leader of the Blue Bloods comes on out ready to represent his team after Bulldog's previous loss earlier in the night. He comes out with his Union Jack and waits for Morrus who looks ready to fight as usual. The two lock up and Morrus uses his weight advantage to manhandle Taylor through the match. Burchill comes down about halfway through the match and distracts Morrus, but Morrus decks him off the apron. This gives Dave Taylor time to retrieve the Union Jack and crack it over the back of Morrus' head! Taylor drops down and gets the pinfall over Hugh Morrus after cheating with the UK flag. Burchill and Taylor celebrate on the stage! Your Winner: Dave Taylor Tank Abbott rushes out from backstage behind the duo and assaults them from behind! He knocks Taylor down and chokes him with his own UK flag while Burchill starts to punch at Tank but he won't let go. Finally, he does and Harry Smith comes down and they try to triple team Abbott, but Hugh Morrus comes out and helps him fend off the Blue Bloods! That's when security breaks it up and sends them backstage. MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [80%] Moore Peters vs. Tajiri & Hayashi The newest rookie team signed to WCW comes out first and waits on the two Japanese stars who are having an honor run against one another. Tonight "Team Japan" teams up to face off against the newly arrived team. The match begins and Peters faces off against Hayashi but is connected several times by his high flying arsenal. Peters eventually catches Hayashi in midair and delivers a gargoyle suplex and goes for the cover but only a two count. Peters tags Moore in and Moore works over the right arm of Hayashi but he eventually jumps up onto Moore's shoulders with a leg scissors and tags Tajiri in the match! Peters runs in but gets kicked in the head falling down. Moore gets up but is kicked as well. Tad is back up again and irish whips Tajiri into the ropes but he connects with the springboard back elbow and Tad falls. Moore puts Tajiri's head between his legs to set up for his "Derry Destroyer" but Hayashi leaps off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Peters is up again and begins to pick Tajiri up, but gets the green mist spit in his face! Peters rolls out of the ring as Tajiri kicks Moore in the head with his "Buzzsaw Kick" and goes for the cover, getting the 1-2-3 over the new team. Your Winners: Yoshihiro Tajiri & Kaz Hayashi After the match, Moore and Peters help each other backstage with Tad clawing at his eyes as they do so. SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH MORRUS & TANK Hugh Morrus and Tank Abbott are backstage talking to one another about the earlier match. Tank: "I came out to help you because I know what it feels like to have those blue blood scum assaulting you using the numbers game." Hugh: "Well thanks Tank, I appreciate it.. And I know you've been busting your ass to go against those damn Englanders and it's about time someone does something about it!.. So what do you say, you and I do a little English ass kicking?" Tank: "There's nothing I'd like to do better than take this fist.... and jam it upside their heads one by one. And with you covering my back, I know I can do it." Overall Rating: 82.16% Fans thought it was a good show. Saturday Night scored a 1.9 rating - Smackdown! scored a 1.59 rating |

MONDAY NITRO Monday, June 19th, 2006 - Blue Cross Arena (11,580) SEGMENT: BAGWELL IN THE RING Buff Bagwell kicks off Monday Nitro with a microphone in hand and begins to cut a promo on Rick Steiner and the Steiner family. Buff: "You all know that by now, Rick Steiner and I have been going at it... It's nothing that we could prevent really, just some old rivalries clashing together when we were both brought here to WCW. So, I've been thinking of a way to make things right. You know.. call this thing with Rick Steiner off. After all, I have bigger fish to fry here in WCW. So allow me to introduce to you.. the arrival of Rick Steiner's brother! SCOOT... STEINER!!!" A midget walks out that looks like Scott Steiner and has balloons taped onto his arms as muscles. He comes out with a chainmail on his head and a lead pipe. He walks to the ring and flexes his balloon muscles and kisses them. Buff: "My GOD, Scoot! You are looking as pumped as ever! Is that helium in your arms or have you just been working out tremendously?!" Scoot: "I'm the big bad booty daddy and I'm here to make you my bit<beep>!" Buff looks at the midget and puts a hand on his head as the midget tries to punch him but can't reach because his arms are so short. Buff then puts Scoot Steiner into a powerbomb and drops him. He puts a foot onto the midget Steiner chest and this brings Rick Steiner out in a hurry! Steiner goes into the ring and clotheslines Bagwell a few times before Bagwell exits the ring to get away from the fury of Rick Steiner! TS: Well all I can say is that Bagwell had it coming! You don't mess with a mans family. MM: Oh come on Tony, that was grade A quality stuff right there. A midget with muscles! TS: Well at any rate... Hello everyone and welcome back to Nitro. We're here live from the Blue Cross Arena and we've got a great night set. MM: Oh yeah, let's get this thing rolling! MATCH #1 [82%] Sonny Siaki vs. Alex Shelley The opening match is between two young members of the WCW roster who were recently hired. Siaki and Shelley have a great match as everybody would expect coming from the two. A lot of high flying and fast paced action comes from the two. Shelley tries for his Shellshock finisher, but Siaki reverses and nails his Siakilypse for the 1-2-3. Your Winner: Sonny Siaki SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH HALL Scott Hall is backstage wearing wrestling trunks and an Outsiders t-shirt as he's getting interviewed here. Hall: "Last week I made my return and nobody ever expected it. I'm gonna come out here right now and reveal that I have had a rough past years with demons, but I've overcame it. It took me seven years to realize that I could be one of the best wrestlers that this sport has ever seen, but because of my old habits I was never able to capitalize on it. That was until I put the bottle down, I got a call from WCW and here you go. But, don't feel sorry for me.. Feel sorry for the jabronis who are gonna feel the wrath of "the bad guy" here in WCW. 'Cause we all know tonight, it's gonna be Scott Hall walking out the winner.. and the new WCW World Champion. TS: Well there you have it. Scott had some major alcohol issues in the past but it seems like he's all cleared up now. MM: Yeah let's hope so, because Hall was always one of my favorites. But you know something? TS: What? MM: I just noticed Hall's shirt.. You know wherever Hall goes...... TS: I know what your thinking, just don't even say it. MATCH #2 [80%] Moore Peters vs. Tajiri & Hayashi The combined efforts of Yoshihiro Tajiri and Kaz Hayashi would once again team up to battle against that rookie team from the Power Plant of Moore Peters in a rematch from Saturday night. The four would have a back and forth match, with Moore Peters actually containing Hayashi this time and working over his arm. Moore drops an elbow onto Hayashi's elbow and tags Peters in. Tad springboards over and leg drops Hayashi's arm and continues to work it over. After Hayashi reverses an armbar with a Japanese arm drag, he tags Tajiri in! Tajiri is on fire as he runs across the ring and nails Moore off the apron and then turns around, spitting the green mist at Tad, but Tad ducks and the spit goes into Hayashi's face! Tad lifts Tajiri up onto his shoulders to go for his "Zombie Maker" and Moore comes in as Tajiri rolls down Tad's shoulders and Moore decks Peters. Tajiri kicks Moore across the head and rolls Peters up for the pinfall! 1-2-3, the Japanese team wins once again. Your Winners: Yoshihiro Tajiri & Kaz Hayashi A frustrated Moore and Peters bring chairs into the ring and begin to lay Tajiri and Hayashi out. After they are beaten and security comes down, Moore Peters are escorted backstage while motioning for the Tag Belts to be around their waists. TS: Well Tajiri and Hayashi once again get the win over Moore Peters are a crazy ending there. But, you can well bet that this rivalry is far from over. I guess Tajiri and Hayashi must put their honor test to the side and help one another take out this new rookie team. MM: First they fight each other, then they team up like nothing happened. Those Japs are weird... MATCH #3 [74%] Tank Abbott, Hugh Morrus & Chris Kanyon vs. The Blue Bloods Tank, Hugh and their partner for the evening of Kanyon came out and then came the Englanders: Dave Taylor, Burchill and "The Bulldog" Harry Smith. The six man tag was relentless between the opposing teams as Tank Abbott kept illegally getting in the ring to take them out to vent his anger out. Burchill and Bulldog contained Kanyon for a while, working him over so he couldn't get a tag. Taylor gets tagged in and Kanyon clotheslines him down desperately and tags Morrus in. Morrus annhilates all three Englanders and as the referee is checking on Burchill, Taylor grabs the Union Jack and tries to crack it over Morrus' head, but Tank grabs it away. Taylor flees the ring as Tank runs after him as Kanyon works on Harry Smith. Morrus sets Burchill up and moonsaults off the top rope for the "No Laughing Matter!" Your Winners: Tank Abbott, Hugh Morrus & Chris Kanyon TS: Well it seems like the unlikely trio of Tank, Hugh and Kanyon fended off the Blue Bloods for tonight. MM: Don't worry about that Tony.. Scott Hall is here tonight and he's gonna win the World Title! SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH DDP & BIGELOW The camera is in Page and Bigelow's locker room as they are speaking to one another. DDP: "So you are telling me it wasn't your idea to bring him in?" Bam: "No way... Why would I bring HIM back? He helped ruin us the last time." DDP: "Well I guess you have a point.. So who brought him back then?" Bam: "Beats me, Page.. It could have been Turner." DDP: "We are on neutral grounds with Hall.. Let's try to keep it that way.. Then at the last second, we will strike out and take that WCW World Title. He doesn't need to know" Bam: "Sounds like a plan.. and don't worry about Mike Awesome, I'll put him away like I should have done back in ECW." TS: So DDP and Bigelow aren't the ones responsible for bringing Hall in. Who brought Scott Hall back to WCW then? It obviously isn't Kidman, Disco or Awesome.. DDP and Bigelow didn't... We are running out of leads. MM: I told you Tony.. When Scott Hall is running around, you've usually got K-- TS: I said don't say it, Madden.. Don't bring me back to that nightmare again. MM: Okay but I was just saying that Hall usually isn't alone, you know? TS: I think everybody knows that..... That's the scary part about it. MATCH #4 [71%] Rick Steiner vs. The Artist Steiner comes out with his mind obviously on Buff Bagwell so he isn't all the way there. Artist is out next with his elaborate entrance with "Purple Rain" playing and the like. Artist and Steiner stare each other down in the ring before locking up. Steiner easily dominates Artist for most of the match. Artist comes back by licking his hand and grabbing onto Steiner's crotch. Steiner backs off and Artist capitalizes with a snapmare and a rear chin lock, but Steiner powers out of it. Bagwell comes out onto the stage with the midget Scoot Steiner at his side and mock Rick Steiner during his match. Steiner is distracted which lets Artist go for the rollup, but Steiner kicks out and quickly stands. He throws his arm out, almost knocking Artist's head off with a Steinerline and drops for the 1-2-3! Your Winner: Rick Steiner Steiner rolls out of the ring and Bagwell and the midget run backstage. Bagwell hops into a car and drives off, leaving Scoot Steiner alone with Rick. Rick picks the midget up and hangs him up on a chain backstage with a hook stuck into his pants, so the midget is hanging in midair with a wedgie from the chain holding his Scott Steiner-like tights. Rick: "You like that? Do ya? You like to make fun of my family?!" TS: That midget just got a wedgie... That has got to hurt. MM: Yeah I can tell you from experience.. They used to do that to me all the time in school. TS: Where did Bagwell go? He completely left the building! MM: He's probably out of the city by now.... TS: The mind games continue between them two, but now we get set for our main event this evening! MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [75%] Natural Born Thrillaz, Diamond Dallas Page & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Billy Kidman, Alex Wright, Scott Hall, Disco Inferno & Mike Awesome It's a huge match... A very huge match. O'Haire, Palumbo, Stasiak, DDP and Bigelow come out to take the form of the bad guy team in this huge elimination match. Kidman, Wright, Hall, Disco and Awesome also arrive with Scott Hall being seperated from his team because nobody trusts him. The ten men start beating the hell out of each other, taking the fight all over the place. The NBT try to gang up on Alex Wright, but Disco helps him fend them off, bringing back some of the "Boogie Knights" nostalgia from back in the day. When DDP approaches Hall, Hall raises his arms up and points at the rest of his team and DDP doesn't touch Hall. "The Bad Guy" actually leaves the ring and watches the match at ringside as it's now a five on four match. Alex Wright and Disco work together to actually eliminate Stasiak from the match, then try to take out Palumbo, but gets kicked in the face so Disco is eliminated. Awesome lifts Bigelow up for the Awesome Bomb, but Bigelow climbs down and picks Awesome up over his head in a gorilla press. He then throws Awesome out of the ring and through a table! Awesome is down and Bigelow gets onto the apron and jumps off, splashing Awesome to eliminate him. Wright is battling against O'Haire and Palumbo but can't beat the numbers game. O'Haire slams Wright's head into the steel post and Palumbo gets the cover. It's now down to O'Haire, Palumbo, DDP and Bigelow versus Kidman and Scott Hall who is at ringside. The four surround Kidman and start kicking his ass as Hall watches and doesn't do anything the crowd booing him. Bigelow and O'Haire hold Kidman as DDP drops him with the diamondcutter and gets the 1-2-3. The four in the ring point out at Hall but Hall just turns around and walks backstage, walking out of the match! Your Winners: Natural Born Thrillaz, Diamond Dallas Page & Bam Bam Bigelow TS: Scott Hall just walked out of this match.. What the hell is he thinking just watching Kidman get beaten down like that?! He must be on the side of DDP and Bigelow! MM: I honestly don't know what to say, Tony.. This is seriously messed up. Hall should have fought. TS: There's something going on here and I don't like it. Hall has something up his sleeve... MM: He ALWAYS has something up his sleeve. SEGMENT: ON THE TRON Ted Turner appears on the tron at WCW Monday Nitro to a huge ovation of cheers! Turner nods his head and raises his hand up so he can speak. Turner: "It's been a while since I've been there personally but I have been watching. The ratings of WCW have been doing good and everything is going just fine. Now, I have a few announcements to make here. First of which is the next pay-per-view whichs is the Great American Bash! The World Heavyweight Title will be decided there in a three way dance between Diamond Dallas Page, Billy Kidman and Scott Hall! Thank you all for continuing to watch WCW Monday Nitro and supporting us! TS: Kidman in a World Title main event? Has that ever happened before? MM: No Tony... I don't think it has... TS: Will Kidman be able to keep up with DDP and Hall? This seems a little off sided.. Well regardless, we will see you next week here at Monday Nitro! Goodbye to everyone from World Championship Wrestling! Overall Rating: 84.12% Fans thought it was a good show. Mike Awesome is injured for five months and will be out with a torn ACL. Nitro scored a 3.3 rating - RAW scored a 2.7 rating |

WCW SATURDAY NIGHT Saturday, June 24th, 2006 - Oman Arena (SELL-OUT) MATCH #1 [74%] The Artist vs. CW Anderson Right off the bat, WCW Saturday Night kicks off with The Artist facing off against CW Anderson in a back and forth battle although Anderson uses his strength to power move after move against Artist. The Artist capitalizes after a dropkick and connects with a springboard legdrop but only a two count occurs. Anderson gets up, charges Artist, but Artist moves and he grabs onto Anderson's tights and rolls him up. Artist holds onto the bottom rope as he does so, getting the 1-2-3 over CW Anderson. After the match, Artist makes a few sexual gestures as a furious CW Anderson who can't believe he just lost to some weirdo. Your Winner: The Artist SEGMENT: RECAP OF THE BAGWELL/STEINER FEUD The recap of the past few weeks if Bagwell terrorizing Rick Steiner with midgets to prank phone calls to everything that has happened is shown as the two will meet this Sunday at Great American Bash to settle this rivalry once and for all! MATCH #2 [76%] Nathan Moore vs. Kaz Hayashi Tad Peters follows his partner down to the ring as they get set to try and get a momentum streak against the Japanese men before their scheduled tag match this Sunday. Moore and Hayashi do battle with Peters trying to interfere a few times but Tajiri makes sure he doesn't ruin the match from the other side of the ring. Tad would climb up onto the apron while Hayashi climbs the top rope so he jumps off and missile dropkicks Tad Peters off the ring apron and to the outside! Moore is waiting for Hayashi as he turns around and locks him into the "Derry Destroyer" and gets the 1-2-3, using the interference to help him! After the match, Tajiri slides in to run at Moore, but Moore leaves the ring and heads up the ramp with Peters. Your Winner: Nathan Moore SEGMENT: WORLD TITLE MATCH This segment shows the arrival of Diamond Dallas Page taking out Kidman and Awesome, but then Scott Hall also arrives, taking out Kidman and Awesome as well. DDP and Hall stare each other down from last Monday at Nitro but do not confront one another. The faces of Kidman, Hall and DDP are on the screen with the WCW World Title over the logo. Who will walk out as the new and first WCW World Champion since 2001? MATCH #3 [74%] Hugh Morrus vs. Sean O'Haire O'Haire comes out with Stasiak and Palumbo at his side, the Natural Born Thrillaz in full force tonight. Morrus is clearly outnumbered as the match wages on, the three NBT's taking advantage of this. Alex Wright comes out and goes down to ringside to help make sure that the NBT doesn't completely overwhelm Morrus in the match, but Palumbo and Stasiak double team on Alex Wright as soon as he comes out which brings Tank Abbott out as well to help his friend Hugh Morrus. Tank and Alex Wright throw Stasiak into the steel ring steps and Palumbo backs away until the Blue Bloods (Taylor, Burchill, Bulldog) come running down! They attack Tank and Wright from behind and that's when Hugh Morrus throws O'Haire out of the ring and he lands on the Blue Bloods! The Englanders and the NBT get into an argument at ringside while Tank, Wright and Morrus shrug at each other and begin a huge brawl at ringside between the three groups of allies! Morrus eventually rolls O'Haire into the ring while the war still wages and climbs onto the top rope, connecting his "No Laughing Matter" onto the NBT member for the win. Security finally gets the upper hand and splits the NBT, Blue Bloods and Tank's team apart from each other. Your Winner: Hugh Morrus SEGMENT: BACKSTAGE WITH BLUE BLOODS Harry Smith, Dave Taylor and Burchill are staggering backstage holding their heads and breathing heavy. Taylor sees the camera man and steps to him, taking advantage of the promo time he could have here. Taylor: "Those bloody Americans always finding allies to take out their biggest rivalry! I see that Tank Abbott and his rubbish have found the Natural Born Thrillaz to help them out.. Well that won't be any matter! The Blue Bloods will reign supreme with or without his bloody cohorts getting involved in our engagement! I suggest a match this Sunday, unless you wankers decline I must insist that this shall be a great idea coming from the mind of a gentleman, Dave Taylor. How about a nine man battle royal, in which the Blue Bloods, the NBT and Tank Abbott, Alex Wright and Hugh Morrus enter randomly into the match. The only way to win is to toss your opponent out of the ring over the top rope! So what do you say?" Burchill: "Argh me matey" Taylor: "What did you just say?" Burchill: "Nothing... Nothing at all. I just burped is all, lad." Taylor: "Very well then. We shall await your response to this match, you American scoundrels. PAH!" MATCH #4 [68%] Disco Inferno vs. Bam Bam Bigelow Disco Inferno comes out looking ready for action, but when he hears he is supposed to face Bigelow he immediately jumps out of the ring and has to be threatened by the referee before he comes back inside again. Bigelow makes short work out of Disco, proving that last week when he said he was going to "put Awesome away like he should have done in ECW" which has made everybody in the WCW locker room antsy and reluctant to face him! Disco is powerslammed to the mat and Bigelow drops a headbutt. He then lifts Disco up onto his shoulder and connects his "Greetings from Asbury Park" for the ending. He hooks the leg and winds up winning the match. Your Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow After the match, Bigelow takes a microphone and looks down at the collapsed and unsconsious Disco. Bam: "So Disco!! I put Mike Awesome away, you know that? I put him on the shelf for nine long months! He won't be messing with me or Page anymore.. So that leaves me with one victim left on the list.... YOU! How about we have a match this Sunday at the Great American Bash, disco fool? You wouldn't be too scared to face me, now would you? Oh wait.... You probably can't hear me now can you?! Well, just in case you are listening..... I hope you accept the challenge........... or else." Bigelow stomps on Disco's head and then leaves the ring, the crowd booing for the bully. SEGMENT: THE MAN IN BLACK A vignette plays with a black and white screen showing a crow landing on the top of a cross and cawing a few times with eerie music playing in the background. White, gothic letters are displayed on the screen as lightning flashes across and the crow flies away. He's back.... But when? MATCH #5 - MAIN EVENT [62%] David Flair vs. Crowbar The two insane friends come out to do battle once again eventhough they are close pals... or are they? A question that remains to be answered as Flair and Crowbar don't even come out to the stage. Cameras pick them up fighting backstage through the hallways. Crowbar leads Flair by his head, slamming him down onto a table with a scorpion symbol spray painted onto it then they move on, heading to a door. Flair elbows Crowbar and slams his head into the door which flies open, showing The Artist in velvet underwear and he runs his hands up and down his bare chest seeing the two and rubs his chest. Flair and Crowbar look at each other then leave the room and begin fighting again. Crowbar slams a cookie tray over Flair's head and they head to an overhead door. They fight out in the parking lot but the camera picks up Buff Bagwell in the background holding a timeclock and counting away as his midget Scott Steiner named "Scoot Steiner" does pushups. Flair is slammed into the side of a vehicle and Crowbar runs at him but Flair moves and Crowbar's boot smashes through the side window of the car. While Crowbar's leg is stuck, Flair goes off screen and comes back holding his crowbar and jabs it into the side of Crowbar's head knocking him down. Flair goes for the cover and pins him for the 1-2-3! David Flair wins this match in the series of their rivalry. Your Winner: David Flair Overall Rating: 77.64% Fans thought it was an enjoyable show. Saturday Night scored a 1.9 rating - Smackdown! scored a 1.6 rating |
