:Following the most recent edition of Tuesday Glory, a NGPW correspondent spotted a familiar face in the backstage area. Seeing this as "big-story" material the correspondent immediately gathered a camera crew togerther, and approached the former World and United States champion. The reporter grasped at the sleeve of the star's navy blue hoodie, giving a little tug. Reporter: "Excuse me, Mr. Hunt! May I have a word please?!" :Tyson Hunt glanced back at the correspondent, gave a little sigh, and nodded. Tyson: "Sure, I don't see why not. I have some things I need to say, anyway. So, shoot." Reporter: "Well, Mr. Hunt, what everybody has to be wondering is where were you during 2006, and why have you shown up here tonight?" :Tyson chuckled at the reporter's anxiety, while rubbing the stubble on his own chin. It took him a moment to gather his thoughts for responses to the questions. Tyson: "Hm. During my final match with Jake, in the triple tier cage, I re-injured my right knee. So, for a while I took some time off to heal that up. And then, well, things came up. To say the least, I was having serious family issues. And that came first. After that stuff was resolved, I traveled to South America, Europe, and even had a month long stint over in Japan. Basically, I've been polishing my skills." :Tyson patted the reporter on the shoulder before addressing the next question. Why was he here tonight? Simple, really. Tyson: "Tonight, I'm here to scout. I need to see how the competition is shaping up, you know? It wouldn't look good if I got it handed to me because I didn't know what to expect from an opponent, right?" Reporter: "Competition? Does that mean you're planning on coming back to Thad Inc.?" Tyson: "Could be. How does this sound for you? Tyson Hunt's return; Tournament of Glory. Sounds sweet to me. It'd be nice to wrestle Reid again. And to kick Babu's face in. And, I'd just loooove to whoop up on Damon, again. And who knows? Maybe I'd get a shot at Kaos. I've always wanted to see what he was made of, first hand. :Hunt glanced down at his wrist watch and muttered a curse under his breath. He thanked the correspondent for the interview and took his leave, walking away from the camera. The correspondent gazed after the man for a moment, before addressing the camera. Reporter: "Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen. Tyson Hunt, back in Thad Inc. after over a year long abscense! And he wants to make his comeback in the Tournament of Glory! What will the upper management think of that?! :With those final words the scene faded to black, and a NGPW logo. The segment was finished, but questions still remained. Would Hunt, a former Thad Inc. World Champion, be allowed to enter the Tournament of Glory? How had he "polished" his skills on his world tour? Only time would tell. |
