WWF Smackdown: 10 More Days

Live from The Rose Garden in Portland, OR

Instead of the normal pyro, we open with Kane's pyro as he enters the arena to a chorus of cheers. He is scheduled for a handicap match against The Undertaker and Paul Bearer, where the winner picks the stipulation for their match at Wrestlemania XVI. Undertaker and Bearer make their way to the ring and we are underway. Bearer is forced to start the match and tries to tag out, but Taker steps off the apron and forces Bearer to wrestle Kane on his own. Kane decimated Bearer and w=picks up the win.

Winner: Kane (80%)

Afterwards WWF Commissioner Paul Heyman comes out to make the stipulation for the Kane/Undertaker match official, however he cannot understand Kane at all. So he decides to use Undertaker's idea, Hell in a Cell, and combine it with a match Kane is known for, the Inferno match, and books the first ever Inferno Hell in a Cell match, where "it will REALLY feel like Hell in there." (92%)

After commercial, Test faces Raven in a non-title matchup. Raven sets up Test for a DDT, but gets smack in the head with a chair shot, courtesy of John Cena. Test then hits the Pump Handle Slam for the victory, but then eats a chair shot from Cena as well.

Winner: Test (83%)

Afterwards, WWF Commissioner Paul Heyman makes his second appearance of the night, to settle this dispute once and for all. He books a WWF European Championship Match between Test, John Cena, and Raven for Wrestlemania XVI. Cena seems please, but bails from the ring when Raven starts to recover. (81%)

We cut to the back where WWF Women's Champion Lita is having an interview about what she plans on doing during Wrestlemania, but is attacked by the debuting Jazz, former ECW wrestler. Jazz attacks her around the backstage and then says "You're plans at Wrestlemania will be giving me that Women's Championship." (66%)

The Dudleys defeat The Red Coats and The Briscoes in a triangle tag match where the Dudleys hit 3D on Mark Briscoe for the victory. (86%)

Lance Storm defeats Bryan Danielson and Goldust as Storm hits the superkick on Danielson for the pinfall. Afterwards Goldust hits the Curtain Call on Storm, and Danielson locks in Cattle Mutilation on Goldust. He leaves the move in long enough for Storm to recover and hit Danielson with another Superkick. All three men are trying tomake a case to face Ken Shamrock for the Intercontinental Championship at Wrestlemania XVI.

Winner: Lance Storm (88%)

Stone Cold Steve Austin cuts a promo ripping into Vince McMahon and the New Corporation, and lets Vince knows what he will do to him next Sunday. (97%)

Next is a tag team match featuring the two participants of Monday's final WWF Championship qualifying match, Kurt Angle and Taka Michinoku. michinoku teams up with WWF Champion Chris Jericho and Angle teams up with Booker T. As Jericho and Angle brawl on the outside, Michinoku avoids a scissors kick and hits the Michinoku Driver on Booker T and gets the pinfall before Angle could come in and break it up. Michinoku and Jericho celebrate up the ramp as Angle is pissed off about the loss.

Winners: Taka Michinoku and WWF Champion Chris Jericho (95%)

The Rock cuts a promo about his upcoming match with Owen Hart and his plans to let The Uprising and The Corporation beat the hell out of each other while he swoops in and wins the WWF Championship. (92%)

The Rock VS Owen Hart ends in a draw as both men fight on the outside but ignore the 10 count from the referee. As they fight, Chris Jericho comes out to beat down the two, and ends up hitting a lionsault on Hart, but walks into a Rock Bottom from Rocky. The Rock plays the crowd to end the show.

WWF Monday Night Raw: Olympic Sized Screwjob

Live from the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA

We open with the music of WWF Commissioner Paul Heyman who will speak from the ramp today. He announced that the Taka Michinoku/Kurt Angle match tonight will be a No Disqualification Match. However he lays down a stipulation for this week before Wrestlemania XVI. If anyone attacks the person or persons they are scheduled to face at Wrestlemania before the show, they will "have to wait on their Wrestlemania Moment until next year" Heyman says he expects the "children to behave this week" and wishes everyone in Sacramento a great show. (92%)

We open up with Jazz taking on WWF Women's Champion Lita, who is looking for retaliation from her assault last week from the hands of Jazz. Jazz is destroying Lita left and right, until her friend Trish Stratus tries to come down with a steel chair to help her, but Jazz takes the chair and smacks Trish and Lita with it to get the victory. Afterwards Trish goes to check on Lita, but Lita pushes her away angrily, thinking Trish cost her the match.

Winner: Jazz (76%)

After a commercial we see a 6 man tag match consisting of Lance Storm, Bryan Danielson, and Goldust, the three men looking to capture Intercontinental Gold on Sunday, and the three men who will compete for the European Championship, John Cena, Raven, and WWF European Champion Test. Due to the new rule, Cena, Raven, and Test cannot attack each other and are forced to work together, but many intentional mis-communications and "mistakes" cost them the match as John Cena eventually taps to Lance Storm's Boston Crab. Afterwards, Ken Shamrock makes his return via the Titantron, and says "Instead of having the burden of choose one of you, I'll just kick all three of your asses on Sunday!" All three men look pleased with that decision.

Winners: Lance Storm, Bryan Danielson, and Goldust (85%)

Next up we get an interview from WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn who says "Since I have beaten every Light-Heavyweight on the roster, I went on a scouting trip in OVW and I have selected three men that I think are worthy enough to debut on the Grandest Stage of Them All for a shot at my title. The Jerry Lynn Invitational may make one of these young man's careers, and I am happy to let that happen, but I will not go easy on them, and I will show them how much more competitive a Championship match is." (62%)

Next up is a 8-man tag match featuring four teams who want to capture Tag Team gold at Wrestlemania. This match features The New Age Outlaws and the IWO, CM Punk and AJ Styles, against The Red Coats and RVD and Taz, with Bill Alfonso. The ending sees Billy Gunn going for a Fameasser on Regal, but Regal pulls out the Brass Knuckles and punches Gunn in the balls and then in the face to get the victory for his team.

Winners: William Regal, Nigel McGuinness, Rob Van Dam, and Taz (81%)

Vince McMahon cuts an unusually somber promo about watching his son Shane get hauled away in an ambulance, and how he plans on making Stone Cold finally pay for all the sins he has committed against him and his family. He also tells Austin to follow his own motto in "Don't Trust Anybody" because you never know when they will turn on you. (84%)

In one of our marquee matches of the night, we see The Undertaker, without Paul Bearer, take on Shawn Michaels. As Undertaker was making his way into the ring, Kane's pyro went off in the ring right before Undertaker make it up the stairs. Nearly missing Taker, Kane is sending a message to Taker. We see a great back and forth match between the two as the finish see Undertaker sit up after a Sweet Chin Music and hitting the Tombstone on HBK for the win.

Winner: The Undertaker (93%)

Next up, is a tag team match featuring WWF Champion Chris Jericho and a partner of his choosing vs Owen Hart and a partner of his choosing. Owen Hart chooses WWF Hardcore Champion and fellow Corporation member, The Big Show, as Chris Jericho pulls a fast one on us and chooses the returning Mankind. The no contact rule is waived for this match. It is a good match, especially when Hart and Jericho are in the ring. The finish sees Mankind take out Show with his Hardcore Championship, cutting him open the hard way in the process, and choking him out to the Mandible Claw to secure the victory.

Winners: Mankind and WWF Champion Chris Jericho (86%)

Next, HHH cuts a promo mocking Shawn Michaels on his loss earlier tonight and telling HBK to watch this match so he can show him "how to win." (86%)

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeats The Rock and HHH in a Triple Threat Match. The beginning saw Austin and HHH beating the hell out of each other while The Rock kicked back, and even joined on commentary for a little bit. However when Austin was getting the upper hand, Rocky left the table and joined in on the match. The finish saw Austin hit Stunners on Rocky and HHH, but covering HHH to win the match. Afterwards, while Austin was having a beer bash, Shawn Michaels comes out to laugh at HHH for losing. HHH uses every ounce of his self control to not attack HBK.

Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin (93%)

It is now time for our main event of the evening as Kurt Angle faces Taka Michinoku for the final spot in the WWF Championship Match at Wrestlemania XVI. This was a highly contested match, even better than the previous two that they had, some say. We get a controversial finish, however, as Booker T comes down and hits Michinoku with a chair and then Scissor Kicks him onto the chair, retaliation from losing to him on Smackdown last week. Angle hits the Angle Slam and is going to Wrestlemania! Angle and Booker shake hands over Michinoku's lifeless body as the show comes to a close.

Winner: Kurt Angle (93%)

Overall: 85%

WWF Smackdown!: Wrestlemania Take Home Show

Live from the San Jose Arena in San Jose, CA

A 10-Man War Games Match will be the Main Event tonight with WWF Champion Chris Jericho, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, and Shawn Michaels facing Owen Hart, Kurt Angle, HHH, Undertaker and Vince McMahon.

We open up with a Champion vs Champion match with WWF Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock returning to action against WWF European Champion Test. Test starts out with his power, but Shamrock breaks out the technical stuff and catches Test in a belly-to-belly suplex, locks in the ankle lock and picks up the victory. The two shake hands after the match to signify they are on the same page. (73%)

Winner: WWF Intercontinental Champion Ken Shamrock

Next up, WWF Hardcore Champion Big Show comes out and complains about being left off the Wrestlemania Card. He issues an open challenge for his Hardcore Championship and expects to have an easy night tonight. Out comes the returning D'Lo Brown to accept the challenge and the match is underway. Show dominates early and often. He looks to put this away early with a chokeslam, but out come Val Venis and The Godfather to help D'lo. Big Show can't overcome the 3 on 1 and ends up falling victim to a Pimp Drop followed by a Money Shot and a Frog Splash to give D'Lo the three count. The three men hold their hands up high in the ring. (64%)

Winner and NEW WWF Hardcore Champion: D'Lo Brown

Next up is The Rock who cuts a promo about himself and how he is going to win tonight and at Wrestlemania (89%)

After the commercial, we see Raven go one on one against Goldust. Both men are chasing Championship gold on Sunday and are squaring off tonight. A physical match sees Raven hit a DDT on Goldust to pick up the win. (88%)

Winner: Raven

Next up is a "warm-up match for Jerry Lynn and his Invitational. Out comes the debuting Shark Boy. Shark Boy puts up a good fight, but is outwrestled by Jerry Lynn. (60%)

Winner: WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn

After commercials, Booker T comes out for a match, but the match is cancelled as Taka Michinoku comes out instead of Booker's scheduled opponent. Taka is pissed at Booker for costing him in his match on Raw vs Kurt Angle, and since "Booker isn't busy on Sunday, he will give him something to do." Booker accepts the challenge, and we have Booker T vs Taka Michinoku set for Wrestlemania! (87%)

The returning New Age Outlaws draw Edge and Christian due to The Dudleys coming out to start a brawl, and a shitload of tag teams coming out to get a piece on the action. The teams include those three, the APA, the IWO (Punk/Styles), the Briscoe Brothers, the Red Coats, RVD and Taz, and Big Bossman and Brock Lesnar representing the Corporation. All 18 men are tearing up the arena until the Tag Team Champion Hardy Boyz runs down to join in on the action. With no clear #1 contender, WWF Commissioner Paul Heyman comes down and yells for the brawl to stop, because if it doesn't they won't get to see Wrestlemania. Heyman books a 10-team Tag Team Gauntlet Match for the Tag Titles at Wrestlemania. Order will be drawn randomly for all teams, including the Champions. (89%)

Winner: DRAW

The Corporation, represented by Vince, HHH, Undertaker, Owen, and Kurt talk about the huge 10-man War Games match tonight. (94%)

We return from commercial where the same men we saw cut the promo walk into Stone Cold Steve Austin's locker room and beat the holy well out of him per Vince McMahon's orders, who did not touch Austin. They leave Austin lying there in a bloody mess.(85%)

It is time for the War Games match. Taka Michinoku replaces Stone Cold and Booker T replaces Vince McMahon. At one point, The Corporation held a 4-1 advantage until the faces gained a 5-4 advantage. As HHH came out as the last competitor, Stone Cold returned and beat him down. He entered the cage and beat down the entire Corporation. Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho on Booker T to win via submission. The faces celebrate until Rocky and Jericho get into a staredown. The Uprising then stare down Rocky, as he is the only face not in the group. Austin then stuns Rocky and The Uprising has a beer bash to end the show. (93%)

Winners: Taka Michinoku, Kane, Shawn Michaels, The Rock, and WWF Champion Chris Jericho.

Part 1

We open with the hype video for the 16th installment of Wrestlemania, as the backstories of the 4 main matches on the card, HHH vs Shawn Michaels, Undertaker vs Kane, Stone Cold vs Vince McMahon, and the fatal four way for the WWF Championship featuring the champ Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Owen Hart, and The Rock. As soon as the video concludes, the pyro goes off for the most anticipated WWF event of the year.

Although WCW has moved their PPV, Uncensored, to this date to try to compete with the WWF, we have NO seats open in the building, and no room to stand. WCW has been said to give out free tickets and move people to fill the camera side of the arena. WWF is the bigger ticket than WCW on this day.

Jim Ross: We welcome you all to the global phenomenon that is Wrestlemania! We are live at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, CA for the 16th version of the "Granddaddy of Them All" I'm Jim Ross, along side Jerry "The King" Lawler, and from Smackdown, Joey Styles. Cyrus has backstage duties tonight.

Jerry Lawler: Yes JR, we have a full slate of matches tonight! I can't wait!

Joey Styles: Yes, indeed, and I am excited as well, with this being my first Wrestlemania, and I guarantee there will be a fair share of moments that will make me say "OH MY GOD!!!"

And I am being told that we will be joined by a special guest commentator for this event. We bring it to ring announcer Howard Finkel.

Howard Finkel: Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the special commentator for tonights event...Mankind!

The crowd gives a loud pop for Mick Foley, as he returned from injury this past week.

Welcome Mankind, it's always an honor to have you here

Mankind: Thank you very much, Jimmy. I'm glad I get to be on the show, even though I am not competing. I want to say hi to the little ones at home.

Thanks Mankind, and it looks like we are ready for our first match of the night. Let's bring it to The Fink.

<Bell Rings>

The following contest is scheduled for One-Fall, and it is a Triple Threat Match for the World Wrestling Federation European Championship!

The first challenger, from West Newbury, MA. Weighing in at 240 pounds... John Cena!

Cena recieves a mixed reaction, but it's about 60/40 cheers.

Cena is making his Wrestlemania debut, and the young man has a huge opportunity to recapture the European Title, but he has two other men to get through, including this man who he has had his problems with in the past few months.

The next opponent, from The Bowery, weighing in at 245 pounds... This is Raven!

Raven gets a 70/30 boo ratio, as some ECW faithful are in attendance tonight.

I've had the pleasure of calling numerous of Raven's matches in ECW, and although this is his first Wrestlemania, this is most certainly not his first big wrestling event. Raven is the veteran here and he knows what he is doing.

Joey is right. I've been in the ring with him and it is not fun to piss him off and have him bash your skull in with a chair, or a DDT.

That's probably why you turned out the way you did. Haha!

And finally, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, weighing in at 290 pounds, he is the World Wrestling Federation European Champion... Test!

Test gets a positive reaction from the whole crowd.

Raven may have experience, but Test has the size over both these guys, and Test can crush either one of them anytime he wants to.

<Bell Rings>

WWF European Championship
Test © vs Raven vs John Cena

As the bell rings, Cena and Raven go at it, exchanging punches to each other, as Test stands back letting both of them go at it. Cena sends Raven to the outside, but turns around into a big boot from Test. Test covers, but gets a 2 count only. Raven crawls back in the ring as Test is stomping away at Cena. Raven joins in, and he picks Cena up as both of them give him a double suplex. Test tries to cover, but Raven throws him off and begins to beat him down. Raven hits a suplex of his own and gets him in a headlock. Test begins to stand up and falls back on top of Raven, who has yet to give up the hold. Test has a pin here, but Cena breaks it up at 2. Cena kicks Test in the face which stuns him for a little bit. The two brawl for a while as Cena hits a FU, which gets a 2 count as Raven breaks it up. Soon, all three men begin to fight in the ring. Raven ends up hitting the flowing DDT on Cena, but he gets a Punphandle Slam from Test. Test decides to pin Cena instead and gets the three count.

Here is your winner and STILL World Wrestling Federation European Champion: Test (81%)

Test was in the right place at the right time as he is able to escape Anaheim still Champion of Europe.

Test walks up the ramp celebrating as Raven had recovered some and is pissed off at his loss. Cena is out cold.

We cut to a backstage segment as WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn is going to the ring for his first Open Invitational.

<Bell Rings>

The following contest is the 1st ever Jerry Lynn Open Invitational for the World Wrestling Federation Light Heavyweight Championship. Now in this match, the three contenders will wrestle in a Triple Threat Match and the winner will immediately face Jerry Lynn for the Championship!

First out, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 212 pounds... the World Wrestling Federation Light-Heavyweight Champion... Jerry Lynn!

And we welcome Jerry Lynn to the booth as he will watch this qualifying match.

Thanks JR, but I will be focusing on this match, so I won't be talking much.

The first challenger, from The City of Angels, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion... "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels!

Crowd gives him a respectable pop.

Although he is coming out with the OVW Championship, he qualifies for Light Heavyweight gold, and comes up from the minors to make his WWF debut here at Wrestlemania.

From Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 222 pounds, he is the Memphis Championship Wrestling Southern Heavyweight Champion... Ron "The Truth" Killings!

Crowd also gives him a respectable pop.

Another Champion from one of our fine developmental territories, this one from my hometown in Memphis. I've seen this kid wrestle many times, and he has what it takes to go to the next level, and he will prove this tonight.

And from Smithfield, North Carolina weighing in at 215 pounds... Shane Helms!

This blue chipper has actually been chasing Christopher Daniels for that OVW Title, but I'm sure winning a championship in his WWF debut will be much more sweeter for this young man.

<Bell Rings>

WWF Light Heavyweight Championship
Christopher Daniels vs Ron Killings vs Shane Helms
Winner vs Jerry Lynn ©

All three men go at it from the get go. Killings hits a series of spinning heel kicks on Helms and then Daniels. Killings gets a quick 2 count on Helms. Daniels gets back up and starts a chain wrestling series with Killings. Helms soon recovers and we see a terrific 3-way chain wrestling series, which earns major respect from the crowd. It continues until Daniels hits a hurricarana on Killings, but only gets 2 after Helms breaks it up. Helms is on the offensive now, stomping away at Daniels, and sets him up for a vertebreaker, and hits it, but gets kicked in the head by Killings. Killings covers Daniels, but gets a 2.9. We get more back and forth action between the three, which really gets the crowd into it. Killings goes for a Lie Detector on Daniels, but is reversed into Angel Wings. Daniels goes for the cover, but is pulled off by Helms, who rakes his eyes and nails a Nightmare on Helms Street for the 3 count.

Winner: Shane Helms

<Bell Rings>

Jerry Lynn enters the ring and gives Helms a chance to stand. He then lets Helms get a free shot in, but Helms' free shot is a low blow. He then further disrespects the veteran by hitting a cradle piledriver on Lynn and gets a handful of tights to steal the title from Lynn.

Here is your winner and NEW World Wrestling Federation Light Heavyweight Champion Shane Helms (83%)

Helms struts up the ramp with his new gold, as Lynn is noticably pissed off.

He did it! And by any means possible too! How resilient!

Resilient my ass, King. He blatantly cheated to win that belt because he couldn't beat Lynn fairly.

Sorry, Jimmy but I'm with King on this one. It's a championship and title shots don't come by very often. Besides. Jerry was fresh, and Shane Helms wasn't. The kid did what he had to do.

This makes me sick!

Part 2

We cut to a video, recapping the Fan Axxess setup they had over the weekend.

The following is the Tag Team Turmoil Match. A new team will come down to the ring every three minutes, and the only way to eliminate a team is by pinfall or submission....

Introducing Team #1, from England, at a combined weight of 465 pounds... Nigel McGuinness, William Regal... The Red Coats!

The crowd boos the hell out of these guys.

And Team #2, at a combined weight of 560 pounds... Faarooq, Bradshaw... The APA!

The APA gets a good reaction from the crowd as we are underway

<Bell Rings>

WWF Tag Team Championships
Tag Team Turmoil Match

It is tornado tag rules as the APA begin to beat down the Red Coats. Faarooq works McGuinness in the corner, and Bradshaw beats down Regal in the ring. The first three minutes are up as we get Team #3.

Team #3... being accompanied by Bill Alfonso, Taz and Rob Van Dam!

Taz and RVD's music distract the APA long enough for McGuinness to try to get a quick rollup on Bradshaw, but gets a 2 count only. The APA and RVD and Taz beat down The Red Coats a little more. Faarooq hits a spinebuster on Regal, but gets only a 2 count. Team #4 enters.

Team #4... AJ Styles and CM Punk!

The two young men run down to the ring and immediately focus their attention on McGuinness. Faarooq lets them beat him down and starts to brawl with Taz. Regal tries to save his partner, but eats a Styles CLash from Styles. Instead of pinning, he turns back on beating down McGuinness. On the other side of the ring, Taz is suplexing Faarooq all over the place, and RVD just jumped over a clothesline from Bradshaw and hits him with a spinning heel back kick.

Introducing Team #5... representing The Corporation Brock Lesnar and The Big Boss Man!

As Lesnar and Bossman come down to the ring, CM Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice on McGuinness, and Styles hits the Styles Clash on Regal. McGuinness taps, eliminating the Red Coats. Alfonso starts to distract Faarooq with his whistle, but then Taz gets the Tazmission in on him, causing him to pass out. Bradshaw is triple teamed by RVD and the Corporation, and Faarooq is unresponsive and the APA is eliminated as well.

The first challenger, from Aberdeen, WA. Weighing in at 191 pounds... The American Dragon Bryan Danielson!

The crowd cheers for the young man as he comes down to the ring.

I consider this young man the dark horse in this matchup, and if he wins tonight, he will be the youngest Intercontinental Champion in WWF history.

From Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at 235 pounds...Lance Storm!

Crowd boos the proud Canadian, with the exception of scattered natives in attendance tonight.

Former ECW great Lance Storm is a 2-time Intercontinental Champion, stemming from a lengthy feud with Taka Michinoku, and he hopes one more win will propel him to the next level.

And from San Diego, CA. Weighing in at 231 pounds... He is The World's Most Dangerous Man and the World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Champion...Ken Shamrock!

Danielson and Goldust are showing off some technical mat skills, as Danielson tried for a quick armbar, but Goldust reverses it into a modified suplex. Shamrock smacks Storm in the face and the two get into a brawl outside of the ring. The spotlight is on Danielson and Goldust as they continue their mat work. Later on Danielson goes for a Cattle Mutilation and locks it in, but Goldust uses his head as leverage and somehow gets out of it and flips him into the corner. Goldust hits Shattered Dreams on Danielson and pins him to get the elimination.

Bryan Danielson has been eliminated!

Storm whips Shamrock into the stairs and smashes his head into the ring post to knock him out momentarily. Goldust celebrates his elimination a little too much as he turns around into a superkick from Lance Storm and gets pinned.

Goldust has been eliminated!

Storm picks up Shamrock's lifeless body and puts him into the ring. Storm locks in the Boston Crab, which revitalized Shamrock as he screams in pain. Shamrock struggles but eventually reached the ropes, but is dragged away by Storm. Storm tightens his grip, but Shamrock grabs Storm's foot and messes up his balance. The crowd goes nuts as HBK comes out to his original attire and original theme. He motions out his old manager Sensational Sherri she walks him down to the ring, but then leaves. Michaels poses in the ring as gets an extended pyro. Michaels is feeling nostalgic tonight, as he looks like he did before he met Triple H, possibly a message to Hunter.

<Bell Rings>

Last Man Standing Match
Triple H vs Shawn Michaels

Shawn is taking off his entrance gear, but is jumped by HHH as he starts to beat him down. HHH throws him into the corner and starts to pound away. Michaels is down for three seconds as he kips up and throws himself at HHH and pounds away at him. Michaels picks him up and hits a nice suplex but only for a 4 count. HHH gets back up and clotheslines HBK and pounds away on him. This has quickly turned into a street brawl. HHH goes for another clothesline but is flung over the top rope. HBK springboards onto HHH and the two lay on the outside. HBK picks up HHH and smashes his head onto the other announce table. He clears the table as the announcers move out of the way and body slams him onto the table. HBK climbs the turnbuckle and hits an elbow drop through the table! The crowd goes insane with this spot. Both men lay on the table as the ref begins to count. At 9, both men are on a knee and the count stops. They trade punches on their knees but HBK knocks down HHH again. He throws him into the ring and throws a chair in there too. He also looks to the steel steps and decides to add those to the mix. HBK picks up a groggy HHH and hands him the chair, he goes for Sweet Chin Music but gets the chair thrown into his face instead. Michaels sells it like Ric Flair and flops down face first. HHH picks him up and chops him, then whips him into the ropes into a knee the face. HHH does his usual routine and he then hits a spinebuster on him. Another 9 count but HBK kips up again and catches HHH with a SCM. HHH is leaning on the ropes, but is only sitting up, so there is no count. HBK sets the stairs up in the middle of the ring and picks up HHH and sets up for a Pedigree! However HHH reverses and flips HBK onto the steps on his bad back. HHH picks him up and hits his own Pedigree on top of the steel steps. HBK tries to kip up again, but to no avail.

The winner of this match...Triple H! (93%)

WWF RAW IS WAR

Wrestlemania Rebound

We open the show with the same video package that closed Wrestlemania XVI, recapping all the matches that happened that night. It then leads into the normal Raw is War entrance video and pyro as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us to Raw, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

"Here comes the moneyyyy..."

An unfamiliar theme plays in the arena, but two familiar faces show up on the ramp as Shane McMahon and WWF Commissioner Paul Heyman show up on the ramp. Shane explains that he is talking over for his dad while he recovers at home, and lets Paul Heyman explain his actions as well.

Shane then announces a 10 man Wrestlemania Winners Battle Royal to determine the new #1 contender for the WWF Championship. He lists off some of the winners, like HHH, Undertaker, even The Rock, who will also be involved despite being the reigning Champion. Shane purposely leaves out Stone Cold from the list and begins to laugh as he thinks he is getting away with his plan until...

Excuse me for just a minute Shane...

Linda McMahon's face appears on the Titantron. She explains to Shane that her and the Board of Directors always have the final say in decisions for the show. She says she is very disappointed in Paul Heyman's actions, but they will not fire him as it would be too easy. Instead she will let him suffer at the hands of those who he has screwed over.

She says that Chris Jericho called early this morning to envoke his rematch clause and says that rematch will happen tonight! Also she says she likes Shane's idea, however a replacement will be needed for The Rock, and that Stone Cold will take his place, much to the delight of the crowd. Shane begins to argue, but Linda cuts him off saying that if he does not comply, he would not be working for "the family business" anymore. She tells Shane to have a good night as she disappears from the Titantron, and Shane and Heyman have pissed off looks on their faces as we go to commercial.

--Commercial--

Back from commercial, we see D'Lo Brown retain the Hardcore Championship over a returning Gangrel via a Frog Splash.

--Commercial--

The Red Coats (Regal and McGuinness) beat The Dudleys, Edge and Christian and The Hardyz to become the #1 contenders for the WWF Tag Team Championships.

We then cut to an interview with Owen Hart who talks about losing at Wrestlemania, and his other beefs, and future plans.

--Commercial--

After another break, we see Mankind defeat Booker T with a double arm DDT. Afterwards, Owen runs down to the ring to defend Booker and the Corporation.

We cut to backstage where Jazz runs into Shane asking him if she is included in the Battle Royal match. He says yes then blows her off as he is still pissed off from earlier tonight.

Kurt Angle is backstage where he is bumped unintentionally by Lance Storm. Angle gets heated and tells Storm to meet him in the ring. he also tells him that he is better than him in the ring, just like how the US is better than Canada.

--Commercial--

Lance Storm defeats Kurt Angle with a Superkick. Storm, who got a tweener response from the crowd, begins to celebrate, but books it as Angle begins to throw a temper tantrum in the ring as he just cant buy a clean win.

Stone Cold cuts a promo on winning tonight and shutting up that "little punk" Shane for good. He also warns Heyman of what he is going to do to him.

--Commercial--

The ten person Battle Royal is next. All ten people enter the ring at the same time. The finish sees Stone Cold eliminating The Undertaker, and ducks HHH's attack and sets him up for a stunner, but Shane runs down and nails him with a chair. HHH hits a pedigree and wins the title shot.

Order of Elimination
1. Jazz
2. Shane Helms
3. Road Dogg
4. Test
5. Billy Gunn
6. Taka Michinoku
7. Ken Shamrock
8. Undertaker
9. Stone Cold
Winner: HHH

--Commercial--

We go right into our Main Event of The Rock vs Chris Jericho for the WWF Championship. It was a highly contest match between the two as Jericho basically had nothing to lose here. The finish saw Jericho lock in the Walls on The Rock, only for HHH to run down and nail Jericho with a sledgehammer. He tells ROcky to pin him, but gets a Rock Bottom instead. Rocky then hits a double People's Elbow on the both of them and pins Jericho to retain the title.

Shane runs down to check on HHH, but books it once Rocky sees him. As Shane runs up the ramp, Linda reappears on the Titantron and says that due to HHH's actions tonight, Chris Jericho's rematch clause remains and that the title match at Backlash will now be a Triple Threat match between Jericho, HHH and The Rock! The crowd goes nuts to this announcement as Shane and Rocky look pissed off and the show cuts off to their reactions, and Jericho who is laughing while still laying on the mat.
