Wichita Wednesday - December 22, 2010

Tonight: Demolition (Now Enriched with Fallout's Finest)
Thursday: Shimmer Attire Day for Heavenly Melanie and The Other 19 Divas
Friday [Christmas Eve]: Snowbrawl X (Dark Match Against the Dungeon Death Match Champion Max Ripper)
Saturday: Christmas Day with the Rougemont Family in Wichita

The last two weeks have been a pressure cooker with Melanie's and my autumn term finals at Cal State Fullerton and all of the preparations for Snowbrawl. Last night, I just felt all burned out after the battle royal where the same constant problems with concentration and poor finishing killed any hopes of having much positive momentum against Max Ripper at Cessna Stadium for Snowbrawl's Dark Match. I ended up in a battle royal last night in the Dungeon and managed to make a second place finish. The match itself was probably for curiosity and amusement rather than for anything of long term significance to anyone other than Chicken Boi Wonder who actually won the match.

The two previous main roster matches had Donovan Pain and T.H.O. as the competition. The first match was against the Continental Champion Donovan Pain when both of us were actually on Demolition together. Our final match on Demolition was really equal, but what did one expect from competitors of Donovan's caliber other than something even and unsurprising to everyone in attendance. The only problem with the results of the match was that Donovan Pain was the one who lost the match in about eight minutes. Obviously, this was definitely not a squash match by any means and also my main roster matches tend to end in less than 12 or so minutes which might have given people the wrong impression about the quality of the matches.

The T.H.O. match was what happens when someone is on a roll and the other wrestler is just trying to avoid drowning in the sea after being caught in a rip current. This match was the worst possible way for T.H.O. to make his first Painkiller appearance other than facing any of the major Painkiller titleholders or The Slasher himself. It might have been a bit emotionally draining for him, but for me it was the complete opposite feeling where I was mostly apathetic after wards.

The very lack of emotion was a huge contributor to Melanie's desperate attempt to seduce some emotion into my suddenly cold heart. Obviously, I was still able to make sure that the animals were better off in the snow even if they tried to bite some of the other wrestlers on the way back to the airport. Maybe Melanie and I are naturals at taking care of animals especially with the aquatic and aerial ones native to our home in Orange County since the new series of the RCWF started in November.

People might be too wrapped up with Max Ripper's sheer musculature and bodybuilder's physique to realize that he is more than capable of using his mind to successfully handle himself in the ring with or without weapons. Then again, I am used to facing much more imposing competition and then taking advantage of their blunders later on in the match. I am not going to guarantee anything about this match other than it will be an appetizer for the main course called Snowbrawl and it is going to be a difficult and high quality match for both of us...

Hopefully everything will go well with the December 22nd Demolition program even with the card on store tonight.

Best Wishes and Farewell,
Admiral Nathaniel Spencer

January 4, 2011 - Challenger Day

One Hour Away: Intercontinental Contender Match Against Darth Luigi
Wednesday Night: Partnering with Heavenly Melanie to Face Azrael Satan and The Tool
Thursday Night: Wheels Of Fire and I Face "The Pin Outlaw in the Fastest Time Challenge" on the Second Next Gen Program.

This week has been pretty rough since the Next Gen program on Thursday night. Melanie and I could not watch any of the event until we got to the Rookies' match due to what happened on that night. Finishing third and ninth in the two battle royals was not much of a surprise based on the form I had in those kind of matches in the Dungeon. We were forced to select between Extreme Fox and Wheels of Fire as a result of the mutual incompetence displayed by Josh D and myself during the final battle royal of the Next Gen program. It was one of the rare letdowns of the new season of the RCWF other than the matches with Kid Murda and Vic T. Myser back on Demolition...

Melanie and I ended up with Wheels of Fire as our "rookie" for this season of the Next Gen developmental program. He had been around for months before I got my first sniff of Dungeon competition in early June. Wheels of Fire had been on a three week losing streak at the time I believe when I defeated him in my first ever match. Since then, he managed to stay in the forefront of the Death Match title possibility conversation with every single month that passes into history.

Melanie and I also had pretty strong victories last week before all of the Next Gen failures on Thursday. The main focus of the new week for me is on facing Darth Luigi for a shot at Gary Burns and the Intercontinental title at Brutal Reunion. Both Darth Luigi and I burned through a strong field of possible contenders to get here, but only one of us is guaranteed to have a match with Gary and Renegade in the near future. We will definitely put out our best effort to prove to everyone that we deserve better opportunities in the near future. Those opportunities are for a different night when the picture has become much clearer...

After tonight, the Heavenly Couple will have a night to rest up and prepare for the team consisting of RCWF Hall of Famer Azrael Satan and old school veteran The Tool. They have a reputation all over the RCWF for being dangerous and hardcore in their matches like a good many of the more extreme members of the locker room. He has also been with the Black Widows as they won the Tag Team Titles on Shimmer. I hadn't heard much about The Tool before he was brought in as a manager for the Black Widows, but Melanie and I are preparing for a brutal and nasty match full of seriously exciting hardcore wrestling.

We have not quite gotten our wings yet in the RCWF, but it won't be too long before Melanie and I could be compared to the other major couples in the RCWF. Heavenly Melanie, Wheels of Fire and I hope to develop something special over the next year... We know that we will definitely enjoy this voyage into 2011.

Farewell and Happy New Year,

January 11, 2011 - First Week of the Second Half

Now: Dungeon and Painkiller
Wednesday Night: My Angelic Girlfriend v Alexis Palmer - Shimmer
Thursday Night: Tag Team Tournament with Partner Wheels of Fire - Next Gen
Friday Night: Intercontinental Title Match Against Gary Burns at Brutal Reunion Pay Per View

The first week of classes at CSU Fullerton have been pretty uneventful and we have more than kept up with our usual preparations for the matches against Gary Burns and Alexis Palmer that are in the very near future for both of us. The coming week will definitely be a busy and hopefully rewarding week for all of us. Ascenia wisely wanted Melanie to mature a little more before she got her next chance at gold based on what happened after Homicide when she lost her rematch clause and I was dumped out of the North American Tournament in the first round.

Melanie probably has already gone into detail about the Azrael Satan and The Tool mixed tag match. So, I will not say too much more about that match except that Melanie was literally carrying me to the conclusion based on how much pain he had inflicted upon me throughout the entire match. Obviously, the ending of the match and my woozy state contributed to everyone worrying that I would not have saved Melanie in the same way I failed her at Vendetta.

The other half of the Thursday night Next Gen/Shimmer program was a match between the Next Gen apprentices and RCWF All Time #8 Outlaw. Outlaw destroyed seven of the rookies (including my rookie, Wheels of Fire), drew with Royal Ambassador (Rogan's rookie) and lost to Chris Crisis, Big D, Jay Wilson and (the Challenge winner and Razor Sharp's rookie) Mitch Green. Wheels held on for more than five minutes before Outlaw proved himself to be far superior on the night by ending our hopes of a successful night. Wheels, Melanie and I have definitely stepped up our approach to Next Gen based on how badly we performed against the other professionals and Outlaw. Hopefully, the fruit of our efforts will be on display on Thursday nights as it has been on the other days of the week.

We have nothing else special planned except for wondering who is waiting in the wings for the reigning champions as the RCWF returns to the Mile High City for the first time since Marri defended her position as Queen of Shimmer. I hope that everyone has a great week as we make our final steps on the journey to the Pepsi Center...

Farewell and Good Night,
Admiral Nathaniel Spencer

January 18, 2011 - An Unknown Card

Tonight: Painkiller and Dungeon
Tomorrow Night: Demolition and Shimmer
Thursday Night: Next Gen Promo Challenge (on UStream)

The Sixteen Man Tag Team match ended up just like the Max Ripper match at Snowbrawl. Both of the matches were a casualty of the tight RCWF time schedule for events and pay per views. Therefore, it was rescheduled and then shelved completely based on what happened when Mr. Troupe and Trent Reign defeated The Corporation to become guest general managers for Painkiller this week.

Everyone was deceived by the British Knights last week when Renegade finally confirmed that he had always wanted to be in Knight Inc. from the very beginning. Renegade was given a choice last Tuesday night: either join The British Knights and have a secure future on Painkiller or face me in a future match for the Intercontinental Championship and end up with one of the shortest title reigns in history. He chose the path of least resistance and became the newest member of the British Knights after a mockery of a match where Gary Burns made Renegade roll over like a dog which made a lot of sense to Knight Inc. considering how easily they have won him over.

Unlike Renegade, I am not the kind of person who would want to be associated with any stable who disrespects or betrays people to advance their avarice at the expense of others. Yet, Renegade and I were in the same boat on Painkiller yet we went about everything in the opposite ways. He chose the evil side while I stayed with the likes of Mr. Troupe and Trent Reign who still need all of the help in the world to resist all of the wrong doers on the Painkiller brand.

Both Melanie and I were forced to re-evaluate our wrestling careers and rediscover who we were as a couple and a stable after what happened on Thursday night. Now, Melanie and I are starting to get back into what we were meant to be when we started out in the RCWF as honorable and talented wrestlers who have a clear sense of direction towards the future.

Yes, I can confirm that Melanie Elizabeth Rougemont and I have started to come back to what we wanted to be from the very start and we will be back to our normal ways as faithful and excellent wrestlers int he very near future. She is back to her dolphins and swans while preparing for her next chance to impress the Royal Court of Shimmer with her talent and beauty. I am hoping to have a great and fair match in the near future to tie up some of the loose ends from Brutal Reunion.

Brutal Reunion has forced everyone to change their perspective and the big picture as well. These next few days will sort out the new pecking order for the RCWF going into the heart of the winter months.

Farewell and Best Wishes to Everyone in the RCWF community,
Admiral Nathaniel Spencer

February 1, 2011 - Ice Storm of the Century

Tonight| Match with Angels and Demons Stable (Trent Reign and Mr. Troupe) Against The British Invasion Team of British Wildcard, Gary Burns and Renegade
Wednesday Night| Melanie Against Rita Caliendo on Shimmer
Thursday Night| Next Gen Program

Melanie and I are a bit worried about the rest of the RCWF roster as we endure one of the worst winter storms on record. It came as a complete shock to both of us especially being from a state that is not involved in the storm. Our hometown was absolutely spared any of the damaging ice, snow or wind as the modest Southern California climate still gives us a refuge from all of the severe weather that has just dragged the Midwest to a complete standstill. As a result, no one really knows if tonight will go as scheduled until the magic hour strikes.

When that magic hour does indeed strike, Trent Reign, Mr. Troupe and I have a match against three really formidable members of the RCWF's British Invasion. All three of them desire to prove to themselves and the balance of the Painkiller roster that they deserve a better position within the elite. A win by the British stable tonight might increase the confidence and glory of the Intercontinental Champion Gary Burns and the rest of the British Knights. Which would leave everyone else other than Thaddius and the Corporation searching for new tactics and a new strategy just to handle the full fury of the Painkiller elite.

Trent and Mr. Troupe are obviously not as far along in being a successful stable based on the limited time that both of them have been on Painkiller. Angels and Demons might be at a higher level than the Knights talent and ability wise, but it takes a little something extraordinary for any stable to be successful in the long term. Angels and Demons will find a way unless it shatters to develop as it must have taken the upcoming opposition to do when they came to the RCWF. In this match, I am the like minded ally for Angels and Demons without being an active member of the stable. This must have been the role that Melanie could have played in Royalty if it had stayed intact.

We know that tonight will be a test to determine if the tide on Painkiller has changed towards the American or towards the British, Irish and European side of the Atlantic. Both of the trios in this match can expect to have a great match tonight. Hopefully everything will turn out well for any hopes of advancement for the "Stable of Contradiction" and for most of the downtrodden of the Painkiller brand in their struggle against the tyranny of a few omnipotent stables.

The future might be uncertain, but I know that we will definitely play a prominent role in tonight's continuation of a never ceasing weekly drama. No one is scared or afraid to dream for the future which is staring us in the night sky or in the horizon. Melanie and I have to start getting ready for our trip to tonight's Painkiller.

Farewell for Now,
Admiral Nathaniel Spencer

February 8, 2011 - No Rest for the Weary

Tonight: Painkiller (Renegade w/ Gary Burns as Tonight's Adversary)
Wednesday: Demolition, Shimmer and Next Gen (Professional Poison Challenge and Melanie's Possible Match on Shimmer)

I was partnered with the Angels and Demons stable (formerly known as For Ze Children) against the British Invasion's British Wildcard, Gary Burns and Renegade. Unfortunately for the Angels and Demons, I was the starting legal participant against British Wildcard. The strategy that we had against Knight Inc. was to make sure that we could get Renegade in the match due to his lack of mass compared to his partners which would neutralize Renegade's pin fall breaking talent. The Knight Inc. strategy was to keep either Trent or I in the ring to neutralize Mr. Troupe and to basically beat the living stuffing out of both of us.

Everyone could see that the British Invasion's plans worked perfectly, but they did not completely render Mr. Troupe to be impotent as he was able to keep up with Renegade as far as breaking up pin falls during the match. Trent and I paid dearly for our lack of mass and sheer strength for most of the match. Finally, we figured out a solution to the mass and strength disadvantage when I went against Gary Burns in the final few moments and finished any hopes for joy for the all British and Irish stable.

Melanie was just floored with what happened considering the amount of pain that the three of us had to endure while the opponents were still in three complete pieces. Obviously, I spent Wednesday recovering from the night before, preparing both Melanie and Wheels of Fire for their matches. Miss Rougemont finally got her revenge on the former Woman's and Divas Champion Rita Caliendo on Shimmer. Wheels of Fire, Melanie and I were spectators later that night as Mitch Green (Razor Sharp's apprentice) finished with a perfect 2-0 record for the Next Gen "Rookie Poison Challenge".

Renegade and Gary Burns have come back to face me for the Painkiller Main Event tonight. The obvious implications are still the same as before yet the British Invasion has revenge on their mind from last week's failure to get the best possible result for them. He has speed as his main advantage, but his main problem in the ring might be that he is not as powerful or as polished as some of his other stable mates due to our mutual lack of experience in the main roster. Both of us want to make a statement with this match. Renegade's victory would provide Gary Burns with even more confidence and assurance before Nowhere to Hide in his next defense of the Intercontinental title potentially against me next Friday or at Bloodshed. My primary goal with this match is to build a better reputation with the rest of the locker room as a legitimate threat for a future title shot and a victory or at least a well fought match would definitely help in the long term with my latest mission.

There is not much more that can be done for tonight except for final last minute mediation and planning. A week has made everyone a little more careful as everyone focuses for the final full week before A Date with Fate and Nowhere to Hide events. Melanie and I like the rest of the RCWF community have no idea what major changes could be unfurled before Valentine's Day...

February 20, 2011 - Just Getting Over Nowhere To Hide

Tuesday Night: Painkiller and Dungeon
Wednesday Night: Demolition and Shimmer

This weekend has been nothing short of a disaster for both of us since Gary Burns manhandled me at Nowhere To Hide in Phoenix. We knew that the match had already been lost on Monday night when Nyxxie Anderson pinned my Melanie at A Date With Fate. Melanie got over her loss by pulling off one of the biggest upsets in Shimmer history by beating Daizee Haze. Unfortunately for Melanie and I, I wound up with Gary Burns as my next opponent and I was forced to do everything that Trent Reign told me not to do like bleed profusely in the ring. None of what happened had anything to do with my own volition, but rather it was Gary Burns who made me do all of the wrong things in this match. I was ashamed to be in this sham of a match due to Gary Burns's success and my loss to Renegade the week before did not help matters at all. Tad Peters was lying on commentary when he said I was on a roll before the match based on my matches with the British Invasion which were never going to be successful from the start.

This match was a completely one sided affair from the very outset where Gary's strength and power just overwhelmed any of my attacks save for three effective grazes. My speed and strategy were not quite up to the task at hand because Gary Burns had a whole month to study me while I had a grand total of maybe four days to prepare. None of the preparation would have done me any good considering how miserably Melanie and I have fared at Pay Per Views since Cyberslam. If you do not believe me then here below is a list of the Main Roster or Shimmer Pay Per Views that Melanie and I have competed in since joining the RCWF (excluding when I was in the Dungeon)...

Heavenly Couple's PPV Record Since Melanie Won Divas Title

  • Homicide 2010: Melanie Loses Divas Title to Rita Caliendo

  • Deadly Games 2010: Melanie loses to Kimberly Styles in Final Match

  • Vendetta 2010: Melanie and I Lose to Faith and Jake Rogers

  • Halloween Havoc: Defeats John Kaos

  • Oblivion: Loses to Kid Murda and Vic T. Myser (T.H.O. was my Tag Partner)

  • Date With Fate: Melanie and I Lose to Gary Burns and Nyxxie Anderson

  • Nowhere to Hide: Loses to Intercontinental Champion Gary Burns
* I give Heavenly Melanie a few sticks and a flint to use when lighting a bonfire safely. (Yes, she has a fire extinguisher and also a mobile phone that she brought with her just in cause she needs to call 911) She then tells me to drop my attire's jacket onto the campfire's timber as she finally gets the embers to the magic point of ignition.*

Obviously, I was not very pleased with the way the match went at all which was actually what Gary Burns wanted from the start of the whole feud on Painkiller. I definitely let down almost everyone on the Painkiller roster outside of Team Thad, The Corporation and The British Invasion themselves. The match was only destined to end this way based on what had happened other the past month where The British Invasion used me as a punching bag in every possible way.

* The jacket is then set ablaze until the fabric completely burns away forever... never to harm or destroy both of us ever again. I eventually put out the fire when both of us are about to leave for the night. *

My youth might have played a whole in this mess as well and might have made me too delusional to see the reason behind why the "Unholy Triforce" are the among the elite on Painkiller. They just overwhelm everyone to the point where they need to cry on someone else's shoulder after a match. Melanie was irate with my performance as much as I was, but for once she was able to handle her anger much better than I did unlike at the North American tournament where the opposite happened.

* Both Melanie and I are dressed as well as expected especially with Melanie's famed ribbon for a skirt belt as we both walk into our bedroom like we always tend to do after a night of cooling down and the week's horrors.*

Melanie: Want me to practice our walk to the ring for next week's main shows?

Me: Yes, Melanie. I would love to...

*She hands me a brand new white jacket with the familiar powder blue and a familiar gold anchor. I let her change into her brand new sea green version of her current attire and I change into my usual attire and the brand new fireproof jacket.*

Me: I am a little nervous about this after all we have been through this week.

Melanie: All of it is ancient history now, my one and only Sailor. We only have each other to hold and love at this point. There is a month before Bloodshed starts so we will try to find you someone who will give you a much better match than at Nowhere To Hide.

Me: Someone like an Adam Browne possibly or even one of the other champions excluding The Slasher or Gary Burns. We should go a bit slower and just forget about facing the British Invasion for while.

Melanie: You have it down perfectly, Nathaniel. Are we going to walk to the ring or are we just going to make out right here?

Me: *Laughs as I take my girlfriend's angelic hands and embrace her right before I push play on the stereo.* The earlier is the correct answer, Melanie Elizabeth Rougemont... My only true love in the world.

Melanie: (jokingly) Other than of course Wrestling in the RCWF, but then I figured that much from how driven we were when we started last Summer. I still love you just as much or even more now

*She kisses me and then a very familiar song starts playing on her stereo... and we start walking gracefully like we were going to prom just like Marri said when she commentated for Vendetta.*

Links of the Night:
Faith and Jake defeating The Heavenly Couple at Vendetta in September of 2010

The era of disappointment and despair might easily be obliterated on Tuesday Night Painkiller when I make that lonely walk after Melanie lets go of me for only a half hour or so on a match night.

Farewell for Tonight and See Everyone on Tuesday Night,
Admiral Nathaniel Spencer
