Jersey Shore, The Real World, Laguna Beach.....As the world wondered what new programming would come to the popular channel MTV!, producers struggled to push for new ideas in the reality TV genre, One producer had thought they he found the solution.

It was going to be based off a simple computer game. The Oregon Trail, was going to be about people of this generation being depicted as if they were back in time travelling the Trail. Of course, this took most of the "reality" out of reality tv, the head honchos at MTV! decided to see what was being offered. 5 men were called in from the hit wrestling federation RCWF to play the role of 5 ordinary blacksmiths. The following video would have been the first episode of the self-explanatory titled "The Oregon Trail."

CAST
Showtime Brooks- Artemis Jackson
Eddie Cool-Edward Kennedy
Dylan Thompson-Dylan Thompson
Kid Murda- Ray Johnson
Nathan Moore- Nathaniel Smith

May 1st 1848

Ray: Aye, can we trust these white folk? I mean I don't really know their intentions.

Artemis: Whatever, theirs or yours are, my only intention is making it to Oregon. Let's get this thing loaded up, eh boys?

Edward, Dylan, Nathaniel all nod. Each man begins to start loading the wagon with all of their supplies, getting ready to set on an adventure that only some would ever live to tell the tale. The first few days of setting out nothing out of the ordinary happens. Early on a dispute about how the rivers were to be crossed would become a fateful ending to one individual.

May 11th 1848

Nathaniel: Look if we ford the river now, we won't have to waste time waiting. I'm pretty sure we can make it across no problem.

Edward: As people, yes, it's easy. But with the things we have and the ox don't look like the brightest, it may be harder than we figure.

Ray: One way or another, I'm staying on if we ford it, whether the water is shallow or not.

Artemis: Well, it doesn't seem like we're in too much danger if we ford it now. Let's get going.

As they five men begin to ford the river, some of the oxen begin to panic crossing. They kick and break some of the wagon and at the same time shaking around the carriage. All five men were tossed out and left to find a way to continue crossing while guiding the oxen. As they finally thought they caught ahold of the situation things went from bad to worse. Dylan Thompson was stuck and swept downstream with an ox. In his struggle to get free, he was pulled under the current and drowned.

Dylan's death although was the first major thing that had happened was still the very begin of what would be a long trail. Constant fights and ramblings were waged about who was in charge of what and how much food was to be eaten.

Jun 17th 1848

Artemis: Edward, you're not looking to good, I think you better go lie down.

Ray: What's wrong with that whitey> He looks more red than these skins, Anyway, man we're out of food and their ain't no chickens in sight. In case you was wonderin, where I'm from we got all that there fowl in the world, and I'm hungry as a jitterbug right now mayne.

Nathaniel: God damn it, Murda! Got damn it, Edward! You and your eating happens, and this one's so called sickness is going to slow us down, we're going to be swept into the harsh winter if we don't hurry up.

Artemis: Now, hold on one minute Nathaniel. We can't just go out with the shape we're in right now. We got no food, no water, and one of our main people are sick.

Nathaniel: Listen here darkie, I don't like the tone of your voice and more importantly I don't like being told what to do. While, I'm still around I run this show.

And he ran it, right until his death. Nathaniel Smith pressed the wagon faster than it had been pressed before. In the long summer days heat and exhaustion were becoming more and more relevant. Nathaniel wouldn't stop, couldn't stop. It led him to his death September 1st 1848. The three remaining members took turns watching the wagons at night and telling stories while continuing on with their journey. Because of the rapid pace of Nathaniel Smith, they were almost to Oregon, only one task was left at hand, rafting down the Columbia River.

The Columbia River

Artemis: We're going down the river. We can reach Oregon faster this way. Our only trouble is watching out for debris and rocks.

Ray: I hope you guys know you're doing all the paddling.

Edward and Artemis just look at each other and smirk. Ray returns to the carriage because in reality he was afraid of the water. Once again, someone would end up in a watery grave. The current swept obstacle after obstacle at the raft. Edward and Artemis tried their best not to hit anything, however they managed to connect with a rock. It jolted some ideas over the side and caused Ray to come out and see for himself what was happening. Another incoming obstacle well on its way and too fast to move out of the way connects and sends Ray overboard. Edward and Artemis make it down stream only to find Ray missing. They both say a prayer for their fallen mates and then it sets on them that they finally made it to Oregon. Later story tells that both men were later executed by neighboring Native American tribes but that's a story for another day,,,,

MTV! Headquarters

MTV! Spokesperson: Well that was uh....very interesting to say the least....but I'm sorry we're not going to put this show on the air. I mean let's be honest here, there isn't enough conflict and there isn't enough I don't know...women. We need skanky sluts in our shows so that we have just as much as a male demographic as a female one.

Thaddius: THATS IT? That's the project I lent MY TALENT out for? And you're telling me that's the best your little producers can do? I don't care if this is, and it very well could be the worst crap ever, you're putting it on television with the rest of your crap!

MTV! Spokesperson: Now, Mr. Peters.....

Thaddius: THADDIUS!

MTV! Spokesperson: Thaddius.....I assure you that we will somehow handle this situation and put it on television.......

This has been a VH1 exclusive!
