::The scene opens up after the Main Event of Wensday night demolition,we see Jake Rogers RCWF's very own pirate warrior,he is holding his neck with his head lowered.Jake covered in sweat and carrying a glass bottle of what looks to be a dark red substance only assumed to be rum.Jake is seen beside The Dude looking eager to get a few questions, behind the two men is a large flat screen monitor. The Dude starts off this conversation.:: "Jake over this week, your wife has announced a divorce between the two of you, joined Far Beyond Better, and even gave you a superkick to you're jaw.How do you feel about all of this?" ::Jake holding his neck in pain and agony still, raises his head to look at The Dude, the pirates eyes roll back as he takes a deep breathe and replies with a solemn tone in his groggy voice.:: "Aye mate,Something has came over Faith and me friend Alexis Palmer.Far Beyond Better I not to sure about ye did,but I know I'm going to save Faith and Alexis both from ye grasps." ::The Dude looks at Jake as if he listening to everything and quite interested in Jake's claims on this very important matter. The Dude pats Jake on the shoulder as he goes to speak to the drunken pirate man yet again.:: "Jake, what bothers me is what I saw out there tonight. We have the footage of the match you had with Far Beyond Better member,Max Krimson." ::The Dude and Jake both turn their heads at the flat screen monitor. We fade into a full screen of the screen as he see,Jake smiling with his arms open as he simply takes a beating from Max Krimson without even thinking of fighting back. The screen fades out of full screen at the visual of Jake smiling while on the ground as Max Krimson's music plays.Jake shaking his head slaps The Dude on the left shoulder as he voices his reply.:: "That? That was me making a grand statement mate.Like I said earlier Il put me life on the line to rescue Faith from those piece of scum,Far Beyond Better.Letting Maxy boy Max Krimson inflict pain upon me without the slightest rebellion from me self, was a statement." ::Jake shaking his head and cracking a rather large and crooked smile as he says with the most upbeat tone in the world.:: "Ye can beat me down, all ye like.I'm not giving up and I'm not giving in,and I'm not going home until I save the pearl of me life from ye mental trickery." ::The Dude a little shocked by the powerful statement by his cut throat of a colleague.Jake still smiling tilts his head back as he brings the bottle of rum up to his lips to take a giant and rather loud swig of the contents of the flask.Jake walks off the set slowly and casually leaving The Dude where he stands:: (Open To Max Krimson.FBB) :: |

A few moments passed following Jake Rogers’ departure from the set. The length of air-time spent with a shot of nothing more than the Dude and the flat screen behind him was certainly unusual, and made Max Krimson’s arrival on the set seem even more abrupt. Krimson had already changed out of his tights and into jeans, though he still wore his trademark hoodie, with the hood up, and his usual sunglasses. He didn’t seem tired in the slightest; one would not have suspected him to have participated in any sort of athletic competition had they seen him without possessing the knowledge that he had. He approached the Dude, head held high. He didn’t even bother to look at or address the Dude directly, but simply stood beside him for a moment as the Dude confusedly outstretched his arm so that the microphone in his hand would pick up Krimson’s words. MK: Well, this is getting interesting, that’s for certain… Krimson mused to himself distantly. He did not seem to be addressing anyone or looking at anything in particular, but simply stood there as he thought aloud. MK: The pathetic pirate lies, His greatest treasure lost to him. Now, in his defeat, he seeks For nothing but revenge. He’ll make a martyr of himself Trying as best he can To take down those who took the treasure His pride and joy from him. If only he could comprehend How futile his efforts are In the wake of the revolution He is nothing more than a worm And try though he may His efforts will all be in vain He’ll merely lay rotting in the ground Whilst the lark soars above his grave. The Dude could no longer bear to be ignored. Frustrated, he abruptly began to interview the aloof Max Krimson. Try though he did, he could not seem to fully suppress his agitation, as it cut through his speech. Dude: Well, Max Krimson, now that you’re here, I think I should ask you this: what are your thoughts on Jake Rogers’ previous comments? At those words, which came from an external source, Krimson appeared to awaken from his trance. He turned to The Dude and looked at him for a moment, his mind processing the question. He took off his sunglasses so that his eyes could be seen, and placed them in the pocket of his hoodie. MK: My thoughts? I just told you them. Of course, I suppose your feeble mind could never comprehend something so utterly profound, so I suppose I’ll have to be a little more direct this time around. You see, though he tries so hard to hide it, the fact of the matter is that Jake Rogers is a broken man; he is a shell of his former self. When he began to pose a threat to Far Beyond Better, we did what we do best. We aimed for the jugular. We found his greatest weakness and exploited it to the best of our ability. That weakness, of course, is his ex-wife-to-be, Faith Rogers…or perhaps I should say Faith Thatcher? Anyway, we brought her into our group and turned her against him. It made sense for her, too, of course. After all, why would a winner like her want to be with a loser like him? She’s far beyond better than him, just like the rest of us. FBB is simply where she belongs. The Dude looked at Max Krimson momentarily, perplexed, as he contemplated FBB’s unique solution to the problem of Jake Rogers. Suddenly, the metaphorical light bulb in his head seemed to light, as he ever so inquisitively continued to question Krimson. Dude: But, Max, wouldn’t that just make Rogers even more driven to take FBB down, for revenge? Max smiled lightly, clearly impressed with the Dude’s ability to actually think (as it was not in his nature to assume anyone other than himself and his colleagues to possess this ability, despite its presence in all humans). MK: Ah, how perceptive of you! Yes, that was indeed a risk that we took. You see, this little operation of ours was a bit of a gamble. Its success depended entirely on what type of man Jake Rogers is: the type who accepts defeat, or the type who rebels against it. It would appear that he is the former, as exemplified by our match earlier. If he were the latter, then he would be dangerous indeed; fortunately for us, he turned out to be just what he believed him to be. The fact is that Jake Rogers is a coward. This explanation only seemed to further perplex The Dude. Clearly, something wasn’t adding up for him, which caused him to further question the pompous Krimson. Dude: I’m sorry, Max, but something just doesn’t seem to be adding up. You keep making these accusations against Jake Rogers, but didn’t you hear his explanation earlier? He declared that he took that beating tonight intentionally, in order to make a statement. What do you have to say about that? Max was beginning to lose his patience with the Dude, who had clearly struck a nerve. For a moment, a spectator might have suspected that his logic had been exposed as flawed. Not about to allow such ideas to enter the minds of the viewers, he immediately struck down the notion as he answered the Dude’s question with hints of irritation in his voice. MK: Jake Rogers is simply doing the only thing that a coward such as himself believes can be done in this sort of situation. He’s making a martyr of himself against Far Beyond Better, in the hopes that he’ll be able to inspire others to oppose us while he is crushed. Unfortunately for him, no such thing will happen. There is no one who is capable of opposing us that would do so on his behalf, and few capable of opposing us at all. So, Jake, unless you intend on actually growing a pair and fighting us seriously, I suggest that you stand aside and let us accomplish what we need to accomplish. The revolution is beginning, and any attempt on your part to resist will simply destroy you. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have more important matters to attend to. I have to help solidify the FBB ideology, strategize for our glorious revolution, and prepare for the Royal Rumble, which I’ll be winning this year. So, I bid you all farewell. I hope you leave this arena enlightened by my words. Without another word, Max pulled his sunglasses back out and put them back on, veiling his eyes once more. He turned around, heading in the direction from which he came, off of the set, leaving a bewildered and insulted Dude in his wake. (Open to Jake Rogers, FBB, or closed) |
