So this is your time to open up and let us know how you felt about the Scare-O-Rama Marathon that took place. Was there anything you thought could have been added to make it better or more organized? What do you think? We are working on a live ticker that shows the amount raised on-screen while the cast is going on for the December marathon, by the way. I also know a lot of people didn't like how it was a $5.00 minimum, but that was the Autism Speaks website's deal, otherwise I would've set it at a dollar. All in all I felt it was an overwhelming success and had a ton of awesome moments and casters who all pitched in to help out and I am looking forwards to the next one. |

I thought it went off amazingly the fact we made $500 halfway through and the $1,000 set it over the top we rocked it out I just hope we can continue riding the wave of success through many more to come |

Well i personally Think it went amazing, except for gq giving it away that he was a secret caster and i guess everyone knowing it was aria before it was her time was kind of a bummer but nothing bad, i loved the marathon, it went smooth, and it was absolutely the highlight of my week, i know i cant wait for the one in December

It went very well I thought..As Nate said, the fact that we not only made the $500 goal that was set halfway through but surpassed it by more than I am sure many of us even thought we would was astounding.. All the casters did a very good job during their time slots, they were interacting with the room and at no point during any of their casts did I find it growing dull. I think they also did well at promoting that the marathon was for Autism Speaks and that those watching should donate if they could. I did notice however that unlike the previous Marathons done with the....ones who decided to pack up their bags and leave..We maintained a very good number of viewers in the room throughout the entirety of the marathon and for all the casters taking time out of their lives to do it, than a high spike for one person, and everyone leaving for the next other than just us RCWF people being in there. I saw sooo many people whom werent rcwf members in their through the duration of the marathon, and many of them continued to come back the next day.. I thought it was great that instead of Tad reaching out to potential new casters, Some came in and saw what we had and were doing and volunteered their services for any future marathons, I found that to be really awesome of them. All in all I felt the Marathon being three days went smooth as it could possibly go..Backups were ready to step in when needed, and I am looking forward to the next one as well.. |
