MAINEVENTNET.COM EXCLUSIVE As the night grows older on the night before Nowhere to Hide comes to the Scottrade Center in Saint Louis, Missouri, Most of the seventy men were either sleeping, visiting family, or watching WTF wrestling start its war with TCW. Giul Thunderstrike, could do nothing but think about the main event of the show. The thoughts of the 70-man Over-the-top battle royal for a guaranteed title shot at Night of the Immortals XI continue to send shivers down the rookies spine unendingly. Giul can't sleep at all as he sits inside his hotel room. He paces around trying to get the butterflies out of his stomach, but can't quite get the nerve up. Giul hadn't wrestled on the main show since he faced Crusher for the final time. He was talking with his old friend Kieran azure, who was facing the same ring rust before For all his bravery, and all the comments and training he's done on and off the camera, and all the matches he's wrestled before, he still felt like a highschooler getting on stage for his very first school play. Nervous, unsure of himself, anyone who's seen Giul in the last few days would say he has been unlike his usual chipper, go-get-him style. Giul decides to turn on his laptop and tweet about his stage fright. If anything, he thought, it would help him get tired enough to fall asleep, or maybe he'll find someone to chat about the event, equally anxious about his front row seat. Maybe someone is ready to get pictures of wrestlers looking stupid as they are dumped out of the ring on Tuesday. Giul didn't care. He'd be happy if he found someone who thought he'd have no chance to main event Night of the Immortals. Giul loads up his twitter handle and starts posting whatever came to his mind first. "I've been talking with my friend Kieran Azure about @MainEventNet KDF. His determination is pushing my training harder for NTH." Giul Thunderstrike @RCWFGT "I'm going to win Nowhere to Hide"....God how many times to I have to say that before the jitters go away? It's more stressful than flight! Giul said it to himself a few more times. He almost chants it in an attempt to ward off the jitters. It doesn't work, to his non-surprise. He sighs and continues tweeting about NTH. He notices Jake endorsing Grem as well as making other bizzare tweets while Max height worked on getting his hometown behind him and Thunder. Giul Thunderstrike @RCWFGT Last time I was in a huge multiman affair. I pinned Ricky Reid to become King of Extreme, That was 16 men in 3 matches. This is 70 men in 1. He wondered if he'd see Reid in the rumble. He wondered who he would have to defeat. Male, Female, HOF, rookies, it's all a big unknown. Giul didn't know Reid was in KOE as well, but hey he won. Maybe he did have a shot after all at pulling it all off. Still, the sheer scale of it all frightened him. he could be running toward a ring with over thirty men in it by the time he got called. He wondered who the fans would be for in a match like this. Giul Thunderstrike @RCWFGT In less than 24 hours, I step into my very first pay-per-view Main Event. I wonder how many people think I have a shot? #RCWF #NTH Giul inched back on his chair, just taking in the last two sentences he just sent out to the universe. The very first time, Giul was going to be in the most important match of the night. It was literally the biggest match of his career. How many people even expected him to get one elimination? Giul waited a few moments then headed to the RCWF forums. He saw a NTH thread that interested him and opened it. The last few posts had copies of his tweets asking members what they thought of the Flying Ace IndustryNM - "Yeah Right, I have as much faith in him as all the other NXT rookies. Experience all the way. QuickerChannelChanger - "You can't get eliminated by submission, right? Crusher still has his number, IMO. Pass out then throw out. Reagenomics_Dude - "It's anyone's game in a rumble, I think he's got as good a chance as anyone, if he can get a good number 69SNOWMOM - "Lolno." Flying_Ace_Queen - 'Yeah, he's got it. He's beat Josh D, that mask guy in 3 minutes, and he's dynamite on Shotgun. If he got a high number, he's got a very good shot and winning it all Meltdown_Conspiracy - "I want KOE Giul at NTH, he'd win for sure if he brought a plane engine or something" Peters_fears_Peternuts - "I can't predict a match like this. Dude should chill out. Why worry about it? Wouldn't mind seeing Giul vs Domino or Giul vs Nate if he pulls it off, though." Giul smiles at the last comment. why worry? Who knows what could happen? Maybe he was psyching himself out. He yawns big and decides to at least get some rest for the night. Before he leaves he types up one last tweet before heading to bed. Giul Thunderstrike @RCWFGT I thank everyone who has supported me on my path from nobody, to NXT rising star, to Demo guy with potential. This NTH win is for you. #RCWF |
