The camera panned across a crappy homemade sign on a locker room door. The cardboard sign reads "2011 Royal Rumble Winner", a small nerd with a greasy parted haircut scribbling "& 2012" above the former year in a different colored marker. The mini-nerd knocked and entered the room of the Nowhere to Hide winner, the camera following behind. Rom leaned back at a computer desk with his legs crossed, propped up and resting on it. With his left hand he sipped a glass of champagne. Rom: "You change that sign like I asked you to?" Mini-Nerd:""Yes, Mr. Rom."" "I'm movin' on up with these victories. Only a couple of years ago I was a lapdog to Thaddius. Now look at me, I got my own nerdy consigliere." Rom leaned forward in his chair and slapped the back of the mini-nerd, who winced in pain and let out a whimper. Leaning back again, Rom motioned to his shoes and his assistant began shining them. "Soon enough I'll get another title for you to put up on that door." ""Mr. Rom, what's it like being the first RCWF superstar ever to win two NTH rumbles in a row?"" Rom's eyes narrowed as he looked deep in thought. "That's all anyone wants to know. How did I draw such lucky numbers? How did I out Nate Moore again? But above all, what of my plans for Night of The Immortals?" He took a deep breath, but was interrupted by his own laughter before he could exhale completely. He looked at the camera. "Let us just say I've been talking with the head honchos since my win. In the meantime, let me fire up my web browser and show you folks at home what my potential opponents had to say to me off the record." (click the Firefox logo to begin navigating - this may not work correctly using Firefox unless you click like nuts) ![]() "So, you see, the RCWF fan forum is used by fans and coward superstars alike! *SNORT*" Rom sipped his champagne. Perhaps a bit of Thaddius' flaunting attitude had rubbed off on him in the years he spent as the boss's patsy. ""Mr. Rom, I don't understand why Josh D. spoke of retirement. There's no such stipulation even if you were to face a champion."" Rom held the sparkling wine in his mouth for a moment, tilting his head back and gargling the tune to "It's All About The Pentiums." He gulped and smacked his lips with his tongue. "Because, idiot. Josh D? If the nerd went up against The American Werewolf, the beating I'd give him would be more than enough to put that dog down, out of his misery - into retirement. Thus, the big bad wolf p - h - 3 - 3 - r - s the r - o - m." Rom and the mini-nerd began cackling and snorting in unison. ""But, Mr. Rom. One more thing I don't understand. Josh D doesn't type like that in his correspondence with fans. Are you sure that was him? I've never saw him to be so afraid of any other superstar since he debuted in RCWF. Could this have anything to do with the fan forum accounts that were recently hacked?"" "SHUT UP AND SHINE MY SHOES!" open to: anyone |
