*An interviewer is shown peeking into a locker room; he turns to the cameraman, motioning him to look inside. As the cameraman complies, it becomes clear whose locker room it is. Sitting on a steel foldaway chair is the number one contender for Eli Eastwood's Television Title at Bloodshed 2012, Martin Star, who is completed focused on the monitor in front of him.* *The camera zooms in on Star, before turning to the monitor. It seems he is watching the battle royal to decide who will face the Television Champion at Night of the Immortals IX.* *1...2...3!* Ring Announcer: "The winner of the match, Jarek Vanders!" *Vanders is seen celebrating over his big win.* Commentator 1: "That's it ladies and gentlemen! Jarek Vanders has won this match and will now go on to face the Television Champion at Night of the Immortals IX!" Commentator 2: "That's all well and good, but that leaves us with a question. Who will be the Television Champion going into RCWF's biggest event of the year?" Commentator 1: "That's right. One week from tonight we will have our answer, as TV Champion Eli Eastwood defends against newcomer Martin Star at Bloodshed 2012, and the winner of that match will go on to face this man, Jarek Vanders at possibly the biggest PPV in RCWF history!" *Martin Star stands up, as the camera focuses back onto him. He doesn't seem too happy about something. The interviewer chooses now to move in.* Interviewer: "Excuse me, Martin Star?" *Star turns to face the interviewer, a little confused at first, but as he notices the cameraman in tow, he reverts to the annoyed expression he showed prior to the "invasion" of his locker room.* Star: "Let me guess, you want my thoughts on both my title match this Sunday, and of the fact that WHEN I win, I have to face Jarek Vanders at Night of the Immortals, right?" *The interviewer, startled by Star's assertiveness and sudden aggression, only nods his confirmation.* *Star sighs and shakes his head, before focusing on the impromptu interview.* Star: "First off, yes. I WILL win the TV Title at Bloodshed. If you wanna know why, go back and watch last week's battle royal. I beat five other "contenders" to get to where I am right now, and I still had plenty to spare! If I can dominate a match against five guys, some of whom are "RCWF veterans", then beating Eli Eastwood in a week's time is gonna be a walk in the park!" *Star seems to have returned to his usual cocky self after talking about the battle royal that he won.* Star: "As for Jarek Vanders, well, to be honest I'm not that surprised that he won. He was in the final two with me last time, if I remember correctly, although it's hard to tell. They all look ridiculous, so I wouldn't be surprised if I found out it wasn't him after all...Anyway, that's my point right there, he was in the battle royal last week...and LOST...TO ME. At Night of the Immortals, it's gonna be deja vu for him, except there isn't gonna be a single person that can stop me from taking him apart, bit by bit and proving to the world that I am the fastest rising star in RCWF history!" Interviewer: "Well, I can tell you're confident about this. But aren't you worried that your inexperience may cost you against a guy like Eli Eastwood?" *The interviewer seems to have struck a nerve here, as Martin Star's expression darkens.* Star: "Excuse me?" Interviewer: "I asked if you think that your status as a rookie here in RCWF will cost you against Eli Eastwood next we-" *The interviewer is cut off by Martin snatching the microphone from him, he is clearly pissed off.* Star: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME!?" *Star grabs the interviewer by his collar.* Star: "ARE YOU TRYING TO TELL ME THAT BECAUSE I'M NEW TO RCWF, THAT I DON'T STAND A CHANCE!? THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE REALLY SAYING, ISN'T IT?" Interviewer: "N-No sir! I was just trying t-" Star: "YOU LISTEN TO ME! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN IF EASTWOOD HAS A MONTH, A YEAR OR A HUNDRED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OVER ME! BECAUSE NEXT WEEK, THIS "ROOKIE", THIS "INEXPERIENCED ROOKIE" IS GOING TO BECOME THE TELEVISION CHAMPION AND SHOW THE WHOLE WORLD ONCE AND FOR ALL THAT THIS ROOKIE IS THE REAL DEAL! NOW GET OUT! NOW!" *Star throws the now terrified interviewer across the room to the door, through which he dashes, not wanting to anger Star further.* *The camera slowly refocuses on Martin Star again, who is breathing deeply, trying to regain his composure. Slowly, Star's breathing rate returns to normal. Then, as the camera had done before, he slowly turns to face it, the anger in his eyes replaced with a cold glare.* *The cameraman slowly walks backwards, as he does so, Star moves towards him. The cameraman moves a bit faster, but suddenly trips up and falls to the floor. Star stops just in front of the fallen camera.* Star: "Out. Now." *The door can be heard opening and closing again, the cameraman having left. Martin Star then picks up the camera, walks over to the chair he was sitting on and sits down again, keeping the camera focused on him.* Star: "Eli Eastwood. It's like I said. I don't care if I'm the "inexperienced one" going into our match. I will still go out there, I will still face you and I will still beat you. I've said all that I wanted to say, so I'll leave you with this... *As Star says that, he picks up what appears to be an old phone and starts pressing buttons, a few seconds later, he slowly places the phone on the chair as he stands up, with one finger still placed on a button. He places the camera down on the chair next to it before saying...* Star: "See you next week Eastwood, I hope you're ready. Because next week...a Star is born..." *Star presses down on the button on his phone before walking off, a song starts playing.* "Out of time... ...So say goodbye... ...What was yours... ...Now is miiiiiine!" *The song, familiar to some as WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre's theme song, continues to play as the live feed is moved back to the arena.* End of RP OOC: Wow, that had to be the longest RP I've ever done...hope you enjoyed it! |

The camera passes through a dusty truck stop, with a number of trucks lined up in the lot. They seem to be waiting out the dust storm on the horizon. Soon, the camera moves into the shop, to the restaurant attached to the complex. Passing by the truckers, all of whom seem pretty burly in their own right, the camera finally settles onto a corner booth. Leaning back, against the seat, is a black man, wearing an old Confederate sergeant's hat...Eli Eastwood. "So, let me get this straight. This newcomer, Martin Star, says he will take my belt? That he will be the one to stand against Jarek Vanders?" Eli slides the belt from his waist and holds it up. "Here it is, boy. My mission was accomplished by beating the man who held this thing for so damn long. No one, and I mean no one could beat him. I did. I've beaten everyone who has held a belt I've faced, though those were non title because I used to be the general manager and I refused to wear a belt." Eli smiled that evil smile of his. "That's right, boys and girls. I never wanted a belt. I am not Thaddius. I refused to be his butt boy like those other guys, kissing Thaddius's ass for title shots. Look what that got them? Rave got shot after shot, and the odds were he would finally win one. How long did his reign last after his win? How long will Domino's? Then, there is Rom. Rom broke away from Thaddius and went on to get the belt right immediately afterward because he was being held back." Pointing outside, Eli grinned, "Now, look at that storm out there. Notice all the truckers in here refusing to ride into that storm. I'm that storm, Martin Star. If you want to ride up against me like some ghost rider in the sky, go right ahead. I'm ready for you. You may win, but you have to withstand the storm to do so. Your young, so you might. However, are you sure you can, or will your inexperience cause you to falter against a force of nature like myself. We will see at Bloodshed." Laughing, Eli turned back to the camera. "If I do lose this belt, it will be one less anchor. One less restriction on what I can do. You know, I may just help out a friend or two with their hunts for belts, or at least, their hunt to get back their belt. It might even be a Third Wave, if you catch my drift." The camera pans backward, as Eli laughs evilly. Many of the truckers start moving away from Eli's booth before the camera fades to black.
