Federation Tag Champ
"Night of the Immortals.... The biggest Pay per view event in RCWF history. A night for big names to assert their dominance, and for up and comers to make themselves known. Also, a night for me to shut that little pipsqueak Leo Raines up. All I hear from his is "European title this.... European title that....." It's just all a bunch of static to me, nothing more. I would typically get prepared for a big match but so far you have proven no need for me to do so. So, as I was sitting here getting drunk for the 3rd time today, I decided I would let you have your shot."

Buzz grabs another Miller from the mini fridge next to his torn and tattered recliner. He places the bottle in his beard and pops the cap.

"Last years NOTI was a successful one for me, my uncle as well, as we became the Federation Tag title holders. A title long forgotten. Now, as I stated before, Leo Raines can have his shot. The title is the United States title for a reason, and I'll be DAMNED if I let some crumpet eating, tea sipping, fag smoking, yellow tooth having britt deface this title. My tenure in RCWF has been a short one so far, but I know for a fact that I am a bigger name then Leo Raines.

He chugs his beer and tosses it to the wall, the glass shattering all over the place. He reaches under his sofa and pulls out a bottle of Jack Daniels and begins to chug. After several seconds, the bottle is completely empty. Buzz lets out a large belch and discards the bottle.

"Ya know, I find it funny how Leo tried to go out and get him some help. Doesn't he know that Libby can't even hold a candle to the talent I have? Ever since his one fluke win over me, he hasn't done a damn thing since. Don't even get me started on Leo... He get's PUSHED TO THE MOON for a Heavyweight title shot...and loses... TWICE in the same night!!!!! Everyone knows that I deserve that title, and if you can't tell that by now then you are either a moron or you are from England. The time I have spent in the gym, perfecting my craft, earning my rights. You are not taking this title from me. NO ONE WILL!"

Buzz stands up quickly, grabs and beer and chugs it. As he finishes the bottle he tosses it aside and makes a B-line towards the display case where his title is. The bearded bastard grabs his belt and places it over his arms, seeming very protective of it, almost like a momma bear with her cubs. He stands there, breathing heavily, looking at his title. He grabs a comb and begins to brush his beard. Seemingly talking to himself for several seconds before he abruptly stops. He looks up at the mirror hanging above his sink. A little grin pokes out from under his beard, which quickly turns to an outburst of laughter. Then quickly all goes silent as Buzz stops.....He stands there staring at his own image.

Camera fades to black with the Night of the Immortals date appearing on the screen before static fills the screen.

Almost time. The RCWF year drawing to a close. Night of the Immortals now just days away. Marking the end of twelve months of hard work. Grasping for a position. Fighting for that important win to out yourself on the title rankings. All your work over the past years comes to the boil here. The time to rise up and prosper or stumble and falter.

Leo had been standing in front of a camera. He had indeed requested some camera time, but as the camera was rolling, Leo was at a loss at what to say. The past twelve months had been a interesting time for Leo. Good and bad times. Now all Leo could think about was Buzz and the words he had spoken. Leo would attempt to clear his head. Taking a moment to compose himself. He would speak.

"Well Buzz, It seems that you're already writing of my chances of beating you at Night of the Immortals. I must be a pushover who has no chance of beating you. I have to admire your logic Buzz. Actually, in your case I wouldn't call it logic. You're not exactly a walking commercial for an IQ test are you. What are you? Average? Below average. What's the step under below average? Let's just call it below below average."

This was a strange occurrence. Leo was speaking much calmer and softer than usual. Almost as if he were tired. Maybe the events of the past year had finally taken it's toll on him.

"The way you carry yourself Buzz. You really don't think I stand a chance, do you? You've been trying to put me away for three months now. But you haven't been able to finish the job, have you? Every single week, I've came back at you, stronger and more determined than ever. I've also recruited Sean Libby to help in the cause. He's helped me a great deal."

Leo would stop for a moment. He would walk around the room. He seemed slightly on edge. He would grab his bag and begin packing his ring gear, quite hastily. Normally, Leo was a pretty tidy guy but the way he was packing, almost like he was rushing to get away. He would continue packing as he looked up towards the camera.

"Buzz, you are a formidable opponent. But unlike you. I don't expect victory at Night of the Immortals. I don't assume that I will beat you. I know I can beat. I'm confident I can beat you. But, I don't disregard your chances. I know it will indeed be a hard fought match and if I want to win, I need to do something special. Think back to our match in January Buzz. The first Painkiller of 2012. Remember that match Buzz. It was widely considered match of the night. People raved about our match. Suddenly we're ear marked as the future of RCWF. The next generation of RCWF wrestlers."

Leo would zip up his bag, throwing onto the table, he would stand coming back to the camera, still looking slightly. There was obviously something up with him, the way he was speaking and his apparent rushing. He looked nervous. Maybe the upcoming match with Buzz had made him this way.

"You beat me that night Buzz. I'm not afraid to admit it. But I came back. Just like I have each and every time since then. I came back with the sole intention of bringing your United States Championship reign to and end. And speaking of titles. You're apparently sick of hearing me talk about the European Championship. Quite frankly. I'm sick of hearing you talk about the United States Championship. I didn't want to turn this situation into a battle between countries or continents. I brought back the European title due to the history and prestige it carries."

"I believe that the European Championship deserves it's place in the hierarchy of RCWF championship belts. If I want this belt in, then sadly for you, one belt has to be taken out."

The tone of Leo's voice had changed. Becoming slightly louder. He seemed to have calmed down slightly. All be it, still looking nervous. Passionate about his words, his voice had became louder. Not shouting but almost as if it were a voice of authority.

"You mentioned that you have good memories of last years Night of the Immortals. Good for you. All I have is shallow memories. Memories which I hope will soon be forgotten. But Buzz. A lot has happened to me in the last year. I'm no longer tied down by a tag team partner. I'm no longer tied down by a group. I'm a man who has been set free onto RCWF. A free man, who has made you and your United States championship my target."

The word "free" was a hard one to say. He didn't want to dwell on former partners and stables, for it had been a big low point of his RCWF career. Leo wanted to keep his emotions in check. He would once again return to speaking softly and calmly, making sure he was getting his points across.

"You should think twice about casting me aside. Don't guarantee yourself victory. You're going to look pretty stupid if I beat you at Night of the Immortals. I'm speaking to you here, as a man. I could get really emotional here. I could start shouting and swearing. But the time for that has passed. Night of the Immortals is now a mere days away. I want to replicate what we did back in January. We stole the show at Painkiller. I want to steal the show at Night of the Immortals. I want to be recognised as the man who retired the United States title."

Leo would smile as he said that sentence, for that was his ultimate goal. The goal that would grade his Night of the Immortals as a success or a failure. Failure wasn't an option. Last years Night of the Immortals ended badly. He didn't want to lost at the biggest show of the year for two years in a row.

"Buzz, at Bloodshed, you out your hands one me and drove me through a table. The next Painkiller I confronted you again and made my intentions quite clear. You've probably heard this countless times from different people. But, you've never faced anyone like me before. I don't do this for the money, or for the recognition, or to be famous. I wrestle because it's something I've wanted to do since I was six years old. You'll never see me just walk away."

"Night of the Immortals is the event we dream about. The night in which we can create our own legacy. The night that I've chosen to create my legacy. The night in which I firmly believe that the European Championship is brought back into mainstream RCWF. I'll see you at Night of the Immortals Buzz. I hope you've listened to these words. In a few days time, lets do what we do best Buzz. May the best man win."

Leo would take his bag from the table. With a final look at the camera, he would make his way to the door. He would open half way then stop. He would, as if he had one final thing to say. For almost thirty seconds, Leo didn't move. He would run his hand through his hair. Letting out a sigh, he opened the rest of the door. Swinging his bag over his shoulder he would exit the room.
