Dungeon Trainee
~Days after Demolition 04/03/2012~

*Jarek Vanders is seen sitting, overlooking out into the the North Carolinian coast. The occasional boat can be seen passing or leaving port. As the camera again pans back towards Jarek, he begins speaking out loud to the camera.*

Jarek Vanders: "As usual, people seem to have a problem with the meager amount of success I've managed to earn and claw together. And the key word there...is earn. You see, people don't like to earn things anymore. People want things handed over to them like a giveaway. People don't want to put in the hours, the days, the months, THE YEARS of hard work and back breaking suffering that sometimes goes into getting what you're after. I've heard it said, nothing in the world worth having comes easy. I know this well enough, as does my opponent at Night of the Immortals, Eli Eastwood. But it appears, one 'pretender' in the Television Division STILL doesn't get it. Tyrant. Really, by now I might as well call him my shadow, because he's never far behind me. In fact, I'm not even sure what his problem with me was really ever about. I can only assume that he hated the attention I got in the Heavyweight Division back in the dungeon. Even though he was a former Deathmatch champion. When it was unified into the Revolution Championship, he lost everything. Even all chances of getting it back. And..that's when MY issues with him started. He seemed hell bent on making sure I didn't win, even if it cost him the match. But, I like to think I still made myself noticed, even on my final Dungeon match, when I pinned Mike Burke cleanly. I left The Dungeon knowing I was worth of main event status.

Fast Forward to present year. Yeah, I can't admit things haven't gone as well as I would have liked. Team Elite caused many problems, and best of luck to them in the Tag Title chase. I like to believe, if we all stuck together, we could have posed a much bigger threat to Team Elite than we did. But SOMEONE had to be the big shot and "join" them, even after he got his ass kicked in a 2 on 1 match. It never got him anyway, it just showed what his character was. Tyrant is the type of person to weasel himself in any position he can if it will make things easier on him. And low and behold, he shows that trademark again by whining, crying, complaining, and BITCHING to our new GM in Justin Rom. What's all the more hilarious about this, is that Tyrant has had TWO chances to be where I am now. Heck, even I blew the first chance. It was Martin Starr who took that big opportunity. But he lost at Bloodshed. It's sad, but it happens to everyone sooner or later. And the second chance? I won that. More importantly, I EARNED it. I busted my ass fighting against him and four others. I won, I earned that win, and I earned my trip to Night of the Immortals.

So now, Tyrant wants to say that he "deserves" to be where I'm at. That I don't "deserve" to be fighting for the Television title. Well, you only deserve what you earn. Tyrant hasn't earned anything, aside maybe a locker next to Giul Thunderstrike and Duke Dice. Heck, he might say he 'earned' a victory over myself and Eli this week. Except that again, that was Martin Starr, who has done a lot more on Demolition than Tyrant has. And what will teaming with Tyrant get Martin Starr? A knife in the back. So go ahead Tyrant, enjoy your win this week. Make another call in to Rom about what you deserve. And while you're at it? Get your couch nice and warm. Because that's where you'll be this weekend, watching ME at Night of the Immortals."

*Jarek turns away from the camera a moment to spit out into the distance, apparently getting over the distaste of having to focus on talking about Tyrant for so long. But he eventually turns back, with a much lighter expression on his face.*

Jarek Vanders: "Which finally leaves me..with Eli Eastwood. To be completely honest, I didn't mind Tag Teaming with you Eli. Don't worry, I don't mind that accidental shot. I really don't have any problem with you, aside the fact that, well I prefer Star Wars over Star Trek, but that's a different matter. What it really leaves us with is two athletes that are fighting over one prize. And I think that's the best way to have it. No personal grudges, no bad blood, no vendettas. Just pure sportsmanship. Two men go in, one walks out with the Television title. That simple. It's not flashy or stylish, but I think that fits us. Two men who would much rather get down to business and let out actions speak for us.

I can't promise you much Eli. I can't tell you I'll beat you for the title. I can't tell you that if I DO win, that I'll go on to be the most dominant Television champion the RCWF has ever seen. But what I can tell you, is that I'll fight you with everything I can muster and then some to beat you. I'll make damn sure, that I give you a fight worthy of the Grandest Show RCWF has to offer. A battle worthy of Night of the Immortals. And once we're done Win, Lose, or Draw, I'll happily shake your hand in the center of a ring. I know this is my first show, my first full year being in RCWF, so I'll show not only you, but all of the RCWF just how much I've learned in my short time here. And how much I'll keep improving in Year Two."

*Jarek gives a slow smile to the camera, before it pans away back to the bay, and fades away into black.*
