Our YouTube department is going strong with over 800 videos and weekly shows added each week, but we need a little more added to it. I am encouraging all Main Event Network casters to try and complete games on-cast so that we may be able to start adding some "Let's Play" videos on our account.

Here are a few things to keep in mind before just starting casting:

#1: Make sure when you go live, you go RIGHT into it. If it's an emulator, your game should already be up and ready to go when you are live. Don't start opening stuff on your PC and opening the emulator.

#2: Try not to drag it out. People don't want to see a long video that has unecessary stuff in it. Just try to get to the point as quickly as possible, which is beating the game.

#3: Try to refrain from cussing or using any kind of racial or sexual slurs. We want these to be professional so that everybody can view them without worry of what they might hear.

#4: Test your quality/cast before you attempt this. If you completely beat the game and your cast is laggy or has the sound lag problem, I won't upload it. This needs to be checked and double checked on your own channel and made sure it works fine.

#5: Try to mention subscribing to our YouTube account as much as you can. Don't OVERSPAM it, but the point of these videos is to draw in more viewers on YouTube so that they subscribe and watch more of our weekly stuff.

#6: Once you go live and begin playing, continue playing nonstop until you are done. Don't go AFK in the middle of it or go run an errand, leaving the cast on. This needs to be one, complete playthrough with no distractions whatsoever.

#7: Don't include any logos or animations on-screen. For these type of videos, people just want to watch the game being played. For this cast, just remove all corner graphics or anything else you have added. (That includes MEN logo)

#8: The games can range from an NES emulated game to the newest XBOX 360 game, it doesn't matter. Just make sure to keep in mind when choosing a game that the longest video I have uploaded thus far is a little over three hours, so try to keep your beaten games to around that margin for now until I test a longer video.

If you have any further questions just make a reply here and we'll answer it publically that way everybody knows.

I look forwards to seeing what you all put out for YouTube.
