Stairway to glory..

Norns says, as he places his left hand firmly onto the ladder step as he looks up the ladder to the briefcase that hangs above it. He places his right hand on the next step and pulls himself up..

Seems almost poetic, that week after week I get on this microphone and speak of the ways of my heritage..

He lifts his left hand up to the next ladder step, he pulls himself up one more step..

All this talk of glory and honor. Victorious, triumphant against all odds in all kinds of matches imaginable..

He pulls the microphone away from his mouth and reaches up a couple of steps with his right hand, pulling himself up a couple more steps..

And yet, the one match that really speaks of being glorious, overcoming true odds, rendering your opponents helpless as you climb to victory, scaling the all mighty stairway to Valhalla.. to honor.. and to glory, as your reach up, grab hold of and pull down your fate.. this match plagues me, haunts my memories.

He reaches up with his left hand and grabs hold of the very top of the ladder, pulling himself up, Norns lifts his leg up and over the top of the ladder as he straddles it and gets situated on top. He lowers his head before raising his hand up and moving the hair out of his face, running his hand over the top of his head, as he lifts his head and raises the microphone back up to his mouth..

I have entered this match on a few occasions never to find glory or triumph, only loss and misery. My title, my everything taken.. gone.. And yet, it wasn't til today that I saw the true meaning behind it all. The symbolism this particular match represents, after all the brutality of the war that takes place below, as the bodies lay busted and broken..

Norns lowers the microphone for a moment before lifting it back up to his mouth to speak..

1 man, 1 true warrior remains standing setting up his stairway to Valhalla, his stairway to glory, his FATE! and as he stands up tall and high on this last step..

Norns positions himself on the last step and begins to reach up with his left hand holding the microphone to his mouth with his right hand..

He reaches up high, grabs hold and pulls down this case.. a case that holds his fate, a case full of mystery to be unfolded before the eyes of everyone. And yet I have not felt this.. this thrill of victory in such a match, only the distaste of defeat and horror...

Norns sits back down on the top step, he takes in a few deep breathes and begins to let out a little bit of a creepy evil'ish type laugh as he thinks to himself about the match and the possibilities before him..

Night Of The Immortals may just be a different story. At Night of The Immortals I seek my glory, I seek my victory, I climb steadfast toward Valhalla, reaching out for glory, I take hold of that briefcase, I'll pull it down and seal my fate..

He takes a big deep breathe..

As well as the fate of the others, as I leave their busted and broken bodies scattered around the ring, standing 25 ft above them, with my arms raised high, case in hands, letting out the almighty roar as the battle ends, victory will be mine! - End Scene
