Who says that virtual reality headset only for the shooter or a horror game? Through the G-Star 2015 event, which continues tomorrow on November 15 in Korea, Nexon's MapleStory latest confirmed. But instead of online games usually are pretty, because you need a virtual reality headeset or Samsung Gear Oculus Rift VR to play. An online RPG that is played using a virtual reality headset? It seems we get a Sword Art Online! You can see through the video teaser below, MapleStory VR puts you into a world of MapleStory, in a first-person viewpoint, and give you a chance against an enemy using a cane sword or ax. Well, the first-person view like that, obviously make anyone feel go into the game world. During the event, Nexon provide demos to anyone to try MapleStory with Oculus Rift VR and VR Samsung Gear. Both are supported, as indeed there is cooperation between Oculus with Samsung in the development of both the virtual reality headset.

So far it is not certain whether the real VR MapleStory will be released as a full game would be, not just a demo today. Maybe after the virtual reality headset is sold in the market, Nexon will consider it, because the headset definitely gives a different experience than just play games online as usual, especially MapleStory we know so far.

MapleStory Nexon had just released the second in July 2015 ago. The presence of the long-awaited sequel, considering the age of the famous MMORPG game with a display of his side-scrolling is already long on the market since mid 2003. Indeed, there have been several other games that accompany popularity MapleStory, such as handheld version of its released for Nintendo DS in 2010, the anime adaptation of the same title production Madhouse which started airing on TV Tokyo since late 2007, a trading card game, Nexon Mobile also gave two mobile game for iOS (MapleStory: Thief Edition and MapleStory: Cygnus Knights Edition) which unfortunately minus the element of multiplayer, and most recently, on July 27, 2011 and Nexon released a single-player game MapleStory Adventures as a Facebook game - which unfortunately also has terminated its services since 31 July 2013.

MapleStory 2 providing many updates compared to previous series. Especially on the visual side, as his world visually similar to LEGO blocks, or rather like Minecraft.
