what is the secret youthfulness? Bike ride possible answer. Cycling is a fun sport that can be done by children until old age. Many people around 70 years old that are still strong pedaling a bicycle.

According to scientists, cycling can make the body and mind stay young. This is evidenced by a study that showed that the 55-79 year old cyclists physically looks much younger than most people at that age are not cycling.

The study involved 81 men and 41 women. They run extensive testing which includes testing the strength of the heart, lungs, reflexes, muscle and bone, as well as mental abilities.

In this study, male and female respondents able to cover the distance of 100 kilometers by cycling under 6.5 hours and 60 kilometers in 5.5 hours. The research does not involve cyclists who are also smokers, heavy drinkers, and people who have high blood pressure.

As a result, parents are cycling have the same muscle strength in people age 25 years younger. Similarly, the strength of their lungs.

Cycling keeps them moving on. The leader of the research team from King Collage Londong, doctors Ross Pollock said, people who are not actively engaged may experience problems on physiological functions. Professor Norman Lazarus also said that staying active can boost the functions in the body.

"Cycling is not only maintaining mental health, involving many key systems in the body, such as muscle, heart and lungs, which are required to keep your health" said Lazarus.

According to the researchers, physiological problems in a person of any age are caused by an unhealthy lifestyle. Moving actively plays an important role to keep your body healthy. Cycling can also be an option for someone to stay young without the need to go to a beauty clinic or consumption of drugs.
