Heh, yeah. :)

But seriously, fuck that movie.

HA!

I'm going to give it another watch at some point before I think of a rating. I loved and hated it.

Yeah, I hear that last bit. Was perusing that piece on Melville you posted to your blog and ran across a few comments on your Twitter feed regarding the film. Somebody said something like, "It's only been two weeks, but I already feel like I need to see it again." And I'm all like, "Bitch, please! I felt that way after two hours! Which, for the record, is before the fuckin' movie is finished!"

(Took a few days before I felt like I wanted to, though....)

Also, it suddenly strikes me that my P.I. friend (who I don't think I've seen above a handful of times since first posting this thread, and certainly haven't watched any movies with) actually crowd-funded the Veronica Mars film via Kickstarter. So maybe it should count after all.

But anyway, he's already seen it, so that makes it somehow less urgent to me.

(And seriously: is it really "great"?)

Haven't seen it myself, but it wouldn't be the only film mentioned here with questionable greatness credentials. :)

So true.

I enjoyed the Veronica Mars movie but wouldn't recommend it to anyone that didn't watch and like the series.
